It's been cleaned out again. Also MyBB released an important security update to the forum software today that should fix a major recent exploit' date=' which I have now installed. Hopefully this will resolve the issue once and for all.

Based on work I've done with Drupal, WordPress and Joomla and a few others, PHP-based sites seem to be heavy targets for exploit attacks. Don't know much about MyBB, but at least with Drupal I get automatic notifications of security updates sent to my email. The Drupal developer community is just plain awesome. Best security around as far as open-source web apps go, IMO.

Another big factor when using a hosted service is their admin team too. With what is available today there is little reason for a linux-based server to get infected or exploited, unless the admin team is made up of rank amateurs. Windows-based servers is a whole other issue, but even they can be hardened against attacks.

I had an someone attempting to constantly get access to my computer once it attempted access over 400 times in one day lucky my anti virus stop it I tried everything to get rid of it but still happened so i completely rest my computer and everything was fine I just thinking what could have caused it to happen in the first place and how can I stop it before restarting using mods that are not in steam again

Just watch what you download and scan them all. If you don't have it get malwarebytes anti malware remover. This is the best that I have seen for removing malware and spyware from a computer. If you ran your virus tool and it did nothing it could be that it is either a junk virus remover or it couldn't remove it as it was malware or spyware.

Yeah I may look for some extra protection before re loading a lot of mods but at the moment I just want to go on a murdering spree on skyrim to clear my head
