Let me remind everyone that, although LL is happy to serve as a clearinghouse for mod requests it will not be a part of piracy. Said piracy to include, but not limited to, evading paying mod makers through Patreon, et al. This Rule is not "soft" or negotiable. Anyone who does this is subject to punishment.

Sorry if this is not the right place to ask but how do I install Liarsa follower, is there another specific requirement for this mod to work? I tried both MO2 and manual install and she would not appear in the game...

Just to lay down the groundwork, the follower is standalone so no you do not require any other mods to use the follower. The follower is for SSE so if you want to use this follower for LE you have to backport it. Afterwards, check the mod to make sure the mod actually has the meshes/textures/esp because the Korean/Chinese followers sometimes have their folders nested in another zip file/folder, so you have to install manually and go down another level on the directory until you get to the level that has the meshes/textures/esp. Finally, make sure that you are checking the outskirts of Riverwood (where the campfire is for the guards, near the blacksmith). If she isn't there, check the mod on xEdit and check if she is located in another cell or if she is in the Skyrim worldspace. If she is in a cell, just keep opening subdirectories in the cell tab until you get a location. If she is in the worldspace, the worldspace tab should have coordinates you can use to find a rough location (For example, find the coordinates on UESP's Skyrim Map, where each landmark tells you the coordinate in the worldspace).

thanks for the info, i'm running on SE atm but I think i downloaded the old mod file maybe thats why it doesn't work, and if you or anyone else here has the one for SE version then I be much appreciated if you could share.. thanks again  :)

The version Harvald posted is the one I use, which is for SSE. The follower should be where I said in the last post, which is in the outskirts of Riverwood.

I got around to remembering my Baidu password, so I can help out with some downloads now - as my bandwidth allows. My bandwidth is pretty limited, so I'll only be able to help out on the smaller files.

 

Don't know if this is allowed here, but I can also help anyone looking to set up a baidu account with an overseas phone number if you guys are interested. I can make a guide with screenshots of what to click if there's enough interest.

Okay, so click here first, and just use your overseas phone number. This website is Baidu's AI Cloud side, and they have it in English.

After entering the phone number, hit "Send Dynamic Password", and a pop up will ask if you'd like to register the number, accept this. It'll text you a confirmation code to your cell phone that you need to enter in the "dynamic password" field.

 

It should take you to a page that asks you for some info. You're going to want to just fill it out. I don't remember if this is in Chinese or English anymore, but I found a screenshot and the first line is just your Username. 2nd line is Organization / Individual, you're going to want to select individual. 3rd line should be how you link an email address, you can skip this for now if you want. 4th line is phone number. The 5th line is a drop down menu, just choose whatever. Ignore the 6th section with all the checkboxes, and hit the Agree checkbox at the bottom.

 

It should then take you to your Baidu Smart Cloud Management. You can set a mailbox and username here, or you can go to https://passport.baidu.com/v6/ucenter

From the passport link, click the red box I've highlighted. This will take you to a menu that you can create a username and password for. Upon hitting "complete", it'll once again ask you to use the same phone number to verify you want to set your password and username as this (It might not - it prompts for me, but I'm changing an existing password).

 

Finally, click the highlighted red section and toggle the right button. The toggle allows you to log in with the username and password you had just created.

 

To make sure you've created your account correctly, open up Incognito mode (this creates a new instance that you can try your login). Open up https://passport.baidu.com/ again.

Click the bottom left, which I've highlighted again. It'll change the login window to username/password. You should be able to log in now.

 

Finally, still in the same incognito window, try a pan.baidu link. Here's a random one to try (Aerith FF7RE, I just pulled a random link from previous page)

If your username shows up in the top right corner, then you're already in the home stretch.

Click the highlighted red box in my image, and the download should start. For larger files, you may need to download Baidu's proprietary download manager called BaiduNetDisk. If you hit the download button and this box pops up, it means you need to download the BaiduNetDisk thing by clicking the blue box. I'm not too familiar with BaiduNetDisk, so I won't be able to provide any screenshots/guidance there, but it essentially operates just like any other downloader, like the MEGA downloader etc. If you get the BaiduNetDisk downloader, when you click a pan.baidu link, it'll pop up with a file location prompt. Click "下载" (download) in the client, and your download will start.

edit: download speeds will probably be fairly slow unless you have Baidu Premium, and to get that you need AliPay / WeChat Pay. Alternatively you can use a 3rd party website and you pay them (in USD), they log into your account and pay for it in CNY with AliPay/WeChat Pay. I won't offer any advice on this.

 

Please use chrome's in-built translation option if you get stuck (right click anywhere on page, translate to english)

I got the OTP on the mobile. After I submit the OTP nothing happens. If i resubmit it says the OTP is expired. Which browser did you use? Am using FireFox.

 

Edit: Got it. Chrome is the best since it has inbuilt auto-translate.

No Problem.

 

On his discord Dint says he has no idea about smp. For this he can`t and he would not make any armors for Skyrim SE. Same Problem with Team Tal. He co-worked for his hair with an other, author who made an smp patch for his hair pack.
