And it kicked my ass all over skyrim ?

But its def that mod, i saved a game while the bug was happening -and it keeps happening even if you close the game, re-do FNIS-Nemesis and open again- uninstalled SkySA and re-run the tools and voila, bug gone and no more issues. This has been happening in my tests a bunch. When my PC gets stuck in 3rd person, the only thing that fixes it is a smelter animation. It has been driving me nuts. I thought it was the SexLab free cam bug and have uselessly been futzing with it. I tried ENABLEPLAYERCONTROLS, but that doesn't work. Thanks for this. Does an earlier version work? I think I'll need something to replace it.

wollboi Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 (edited) @Aylis@jaeos Hope you guys are doing okay. Goes for everybody, but especially these days. Of note is that in AE, Improved Camera Beta 4 is basically not working. No feets in my cameras. Maybe just me, so if anybody is on AE without this issue please let me know. Go to Bed finally got an update, so it's working much better in AE now. Edit - Okay, nope, GtB is royally fucked now. Stay with the old derpy version. Edited January 20, 2022 by wollboi

I think I'll need something to replace it. It does not sadly, at least on my case. @jaeos im using Improved camera but it changes nothing with the bug. __________ I could live if it was simply that the camera get stuck at Third camera (or even first) the problem is that i cant move, attack or do anything (sometimes) in first camera, and directly crashes if its a summon weapon type or you force the game to do something (interact menus like Looting bodies) It does need a replacement since you can feel the clunkyness on a lot of areas of the combat (tho it can be ignored, specially at third person) but overall i bite the bullet over having to worry if the next combat im going to be stuck in place and have to swap weapon, seathe, unseathe it, swap it back and then i can attack, or if its going to crash for no reason. No thanks, i prefer to get it working. Im still digging a possible replacement but for now vanilla combat will have to do. For now these look promising at a glance, tho testing is another history: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/45378 : More in like to what SKYSA tried to accomplish https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34412 : Seems more simplystic (not that is a bad thing) but also uses SPID and for what it seems is really lightweight. Will test both when i have time. _______________________ Also, i fully FULLY recomend this one, on fact it should be a nice addition to the guide: Random first person magic animation SSE with DAR Edited January 21, 2022 by Jessica_Degurechaff
trgdolors Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 @Jessica_Degurechaff Sorry to hear you are still having the trouble. Have you considered Inpa Sekiro Combat as a combat mod? I have not tested it yet, but it looks interesting. I may try it next time. Some of this mod author's mods have been in this guide before.

wollboi Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 @jaeos I was up to a pack and a half a day about 15 years ago. If I can quit, anybody can. (Of course, I switched to drinking, so disregard any health advice I ever give.) 2

Maybe is because im playing on master? (Of course, I switched to drinking, so disregard any health advice I ever give.) Full blown pneunomia is not the ideal starting point to stop smoking. I know three former hardcore smokers (i.e. multiple packs per day) and they all 'used' an acute bronchitis to kick the habit. And they are the only people within that consumption range that managed to completely stop. To be fair they stopped in the last millenium. Don't really know how it would have turned out if vaping was a thing back then already. And an update from our healthscares. I finally managed to get enough weight back from that pre christmas infection so I no longer can count my ribs in the mirror. ? 2
trgdolors Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Really sorry to be negative, but I quit smoking a long time ago. People around me dying a not good death from it helped with motivation. Please, take care of yourselves! @wollboiYou said the new Go to Bed update was bad. Did you also use the new Go To Bed - DAR patch update when you made that assessment?
Rey_Vegeta Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Do you know any alternatives to High Poly NPC Overhaul - Skyrim Special Edition 2.0 (All Vanilla NPCs)? The mod has serious discoloration between hairs and beards in men.
wollboi Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 @trgdolors Yep. There's an update again today, but I don't think it'll change anything. Basically: Old version (SE version running on AE) - Click on a bed and you will disrobe (according to your settings). Plays the laying down animation. Have to manually click on the bed again. Choose "sleep". Character will then stand up on the bed while you select how long you want to sleep. After time passes, you'll be back to laying down again. New AE version - No disrobe at all that I can see. The MCM is completely different. Animation works. But now the wait prompt has been changed to another key. Pressing the old one results in your character just standing up again. The key is bound by default to one of the same ones used by Immersive Interactions. I'm not sure which one, as I never play with a keyboard. If you're using a controller, pressing the key does nothing and pressing any button results in the character standing up again. My advice is still stick with the old one. It's annoying, but more functional. If you look at the new MCM, it's completely different and I really don't like it. Note that I've installed the updated one, but haven't tested it yet.

Nope, i'm not going to become a member of that group... ___________________________________________________ Small OT: Spoiler Got myself a mod plus vaporizer and already reduced my tobacco consumption by more than 75% (still tinkering with nicotine level in the e-juice). Peach-Maracuja tastes, and smells, so much better than the old pyro. For a beginner this set plus a MTL head would be easier, but i hate rebuying the required coils (they are always gone when you need them) and a rebuildable (like my Artemis) will save you some money in the long run. The hardest thing is simply finding the right e-juice. If you don't like the taste you won't be able to switch, and, what i'm struggling with atm, is finding the right nicotine level. Too much and you get headaches - too little and you're still lighting up a cigarette. Edited January 22, 2022 by Aylis

Yeah, that happened to me too when my weapons were stuck while testing, but in my case, it was Recorder who was having some animation problem trying to react to the Dragon threat. I was watching her twist around just before the CTD. The log said it was Recorder. It wasn't Recorder but some animation which failed/conflicted on her during the event. I've had some poor SexLab mods do something similar with trying to start an animation execution at the start of a spider attack. The NPC was listed in the error log when it was an animation and event conflict. That's why I'm glad you found the problem because I was looking at some Sexlab Mods to fix the problem. I quit the MOD and no more CDTs. You might try to start the Papyrus Log and see what events were triggering. If you think you can get it to repeat. I've now deactivated the SkySA mods. And will be testing sometime tomorrow. Think I just might get some FNIS mod which will be better than vanilla.

PoeticAnt44 writes "This is a mod page houses all my Male HPH NPC Overhauls with roughly 400 male NPCs". She's a real artist with men. Keep the High Poly Overhaul but load PoeticAnt's after. Be aware you'll have to make a patch for each pride mod (11 ESL mods) that includes Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch, Unofficial Skyrim Modder's Patch - USMP SE, Guards Armor Replacer, and Unplayable Faction Armors SSE. All these mods must be patched in for each ESL or one will overwrite the other and you will lose those mod features. Guards Armor Replacer, and Unplayable Faction Armors SSE are exclusive of each other, but the others are not, simpler to patch all at once. 1
trgdolors Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 @wollboiThanks! That does sound annoying. I use a TKL keyboard and am always trying reduce the number of hotkeys. I am still on SE for now. Will test Go to Bed updates before committing to them sometime in the next few days.
