Did you run the script that sets load order based on the left pane? When I ran that script, it put the ESMs at the top. I still had to move some stuff around, but it was helpful.

Oh, I forget about that.  Thanks!

Sorry guys, i'll be out for a few days.

Had to do some runs to get some paperwork done (had to be there in person), and that was too early and too much at the same time. Almost can't move or do something at all.

Get well soon and hopefully take some extra days when you feel better before you read this. ?

Something to keep on the radar: AE is working very well, and we're starting to see texture mods incorporate them. Believable Weapons is doing a great job of releasing updates to fix up the textures. Not so many updates on armor, though. I know it's still early, but I'm wondering more if we're going to see mods like Simply Realistic Armor incorporate armor from other mods or if we'll have to go back to picking and choosing an overwrite here and an overwrite there.

Everybody will move along and some mods will left along the road. All of this has happened before and will happen again. So say we all.
I actually can remember the outcry when mods started to include the oldrim DLC as required back in the days.

I'm at the end of the build, having installed the largest textures of every mod that is available.  I have DynDOLOD/TexGen installed, but have one mod not allowing me to start TexGen (I need to fix a FormID), so no DynDOLOD/TexCen output.  Currently my MO2 'mods' directory occupies 151GB of SSD space.

                                                                                VRam Usage

PC Standing in the Abandoned Prison                   6.88GB (to start)

before Talking to Mara Statue                                4.32GB (drops of to)

Vanilla Start

Wagon Ride into Helgen                                        10.4-11.4GB

Helgen Gate                                                            8.15GB

I haven't actually played SSE with my new video card yet.  It's all been short "did I break anything" runs while following Aylis' Guide for the first time.  After I've have DynDOLOD output to work with, Ill use AS-LAL to get into cities, and wander Tamriel, while I decide if I need to scale down any of my texture selections before I play the game using this Guide.

Thanks for providing some numbers. You might want to check out Riften market too, that was a resource hog the last time I built this guide too.

And you never mentioned what screen resolution your skyrim is running. 1080p vs 1440p vs 4k vs ultrawide all makes a difference.

I would guess 1440p looking at above numbers?

Do what I did here:

Just go ham get all the mods and install all of them, not a single personalization.

Run the tools and realize that a test before grass cache would have been smart.

But after everything is done then test to see what broke.

After that (60h+) it loads slowly but runs amazingly, (1070TI) if only not in jet engine mode.

After this using the pack as a framework I have spent to much time adding more.

The ENB/ReShade tool looks interesting.

According to the dynDOLOD documentation HITME stands for HIgher Than Master Entry.

However I have no idea if you can safely ignore those. Maybe change those FormIDs and then check how it turns out?

True, but I'm not going to cleanthese warnings up, that's the author's job.   I'll tell the author about this, drop this optional file, and move on.  I can add the mod back in if I ever find out they get corrected.

Update:  I posted this list (AshsRestPlayerHouse1.3.esp HITME and Overwritten Large Ref Errors) on the mod's page.  It's a longer, more complete list of the mostly HITME warnings.  I'm not the only person who has posted about them.

Ok this is really weird:
-Sometimes my character does not draw her weapon and i quite literally cant attack
-sometimes the camera gets stuck at 3 person or first person, its seems to be tied with my issue avobe.

Man, i literally thought i was done, i was even in a game already, 6 hours into it..

-Seems to be caused by either only draw weapons OR opening the favorites menu, still digging into it but i have the gut feeling it may animation related issue (conflicting maybe?)

@Jessica_Degurechaff  Did you use  Improved Camera (Beta 4)?  Some of the "Known Issues" could be contributing to your problems.

Spoiler

Known Issue(s):

  • Some animations can cause the camera to break (Animated Eating Redux SE editon, Keep it Clean - A Bathing Mod) if viewed in First Person.

  • Camera requires to press F key (default Toggle Third/First Person) for Horse/Dragon Riding although this doesn't work whilst sitting. (Can break Go to bed if toggling POV's)

  • Fix clipping issues, need someone experienced with Creation Engine as it can be potentially erradicated. (Dynamically adjusted)

  • Camera can go wonky opening the Tab Menu whilst on horse back. (rarely happens)

  • bFirstPersonShadows is broken. (always on)

  • Uninstalling Joy of Perspective may not be not enough: Read here. Big thanks to Curmudgeon1542 for this solution.

Workaround for animations breaking, use another object (seat, bed or something) or enter another cell. Usually corrects itself. Or as Moravia300 mentioned.

Sadly its not any of those, i mean they do happen but they are just visual stuff that changes nothing in-game

This? this is a game breaking bug (cant attack or move unless in third person)
Im trying to figure out the cause but so far nothing seems to be it.
Going to try reinstalling the sub group Combat animations and see if thats the nut to crack

Update: It seems to be Save Related? Started a new save and checked for a solid 30 minutes to see if the bug was fixed after reinstalling a few things it seems to work just fine(?) Will report more if i get any new info

@Jessica_Degurechaff This has happened to me a bit. The first/third person seems to be partly an issue with the praying thing. And the mod that makes you sit down if you wait, if you're in first person it's all screwy when you go to stand up again, like the first person view doesn't realise you're sitting down now.

And I have a similar weapon issue. Sometimes I need to change to different inventory slots, change magic, then draw the weapons again. It's a bit janky but it hasn't been game breaking yet. A bunch of the animation stuff I'm a bit on the fence about, as the combat can get a bit all over the place when i'm used to being able to button mash a bit more.

The whiterun player home is nice, but I hate the upstairs bedroom, the ceiling is way too low so you bump into it or clip out if you stand up on the bed. Very few player homes manage to actually have good extra functionality while also not causing weird issues.

Plus, the money sink/procedure for buying homes is kind of necessary, or it's too easy too early to hoard and get tons of money. Like the enchantable earrings and left hand rings, I end up overdoing it and making things less fun because all my gear is over-powered etc.

Got it fixed by removing  SkySA (the whole group) im going to try and use an older version of the mod to see if it works better since it used to not happen back a few months back.
But its def that mod, i saved a game while the bug was happening -and it keeps happening even if you close the game, re-do FNIS-Nemesis and open again-  uninstalled SkySA and re-run the tools and voila, bug gone and no more issues.

The praying and sitting ones are ONLY visual and are not really an issue as they can be fixed by hitting F, and even then its not as bad as this bug:
-Cant move if weapon unsheated
-Cant attack if weapon unsheated
-Game crashes if you seathe the weapon and loot too fast while this bug is active
-Game crashes at random if this bug is happening and you use any summon weapon (Bound dagger, sword, etc)
While you can work around it just like you say, its too much for something this bigi prefer to get rid of it.

Again, it only happens SOMETIMES but it was annoying enough tthat i spend a good 3 hours now getting rid of it.

I will test around more and see if its truly fixed, but i feel positive about it.
SkySA while good dont brings THAT much to the table, i can live without if it means getting rid of such a huge issue.

Ps: if anyone else getting this bug can confirm it no longer shows up upon uninstalling SkySA i would really apreciate it and it could add a posible solution for future issues.

Edit: After checking up on 2 more saves where the bug was actively happening (one even in the middle of combat against Bandits) i can confirm it got fixed by removing SkySA.    Specifically checked on Bound Weapons too since the game crashes on this bug if the weapon is a Bound Type, seems fixed for now.

One favour to ask.

Can we maybe dial it down a notch and go back to inquiring about stuff that actually is in this guide?

We went from the occasional 'does x work with this' to a full blown multi-page support discussion of various extra mods which might be slightly excessive lately.

But ok i guess.

Don't worry, you won't get rid of me that easily. ;)

But i have to take it very slow. I clearly overestimated my recovery and that was a giant mistake on my side and threw me back quite a bit. So i'll stick around and read along for now. Anything else will have to wait as actually doing something (gaming is off limits too) is painful even with the painkillers.

Thankfully my Tassimo (aka coffee machine) is very close by. I can't live without my coffee...

The only positive thing so far is my reduction of cigarettes. I've started vaping and hope to switch completely when i finally find 'my' e-liquid.

-MCM Recorder
As the title says, you and i know how much of a time saver this is, tho i have yet to test i cant see why it would not work

I came here to post I had found  -MCM Recorder  .  It's already been found, and I can say that I'll be putting it to the test.  I'm finally at a point where I want to start adjusting all the MCM menus, but have been avoiding doing it because I wouldn't be able to save all the work involved.  I have it installed and will be testing it this week.

  Sometimes animations get stuck and won't let go. Have you tried in console?;

A few post back i made a tiny list of mods that are Quality of life like MCM recorder, you may find some of them useful: (not all of them are tested imo)

-Bucket of Milk and Water - Animated
My main complain is that no way people would leave a Bucket of milk out in the open, You know how fast the untreated milk goes bad? also i would still like empty buckets around (or at least more than used ones), still a good fit for inmersion imo
-Leather Weight Consistency
Quality of life stuff, not op if you ask me

-Pocky's 4k-8k Moist Caves
Just for "wet" caves, it should be compatible and left untouched the ones we already have, will test past tomorrow when i have time
-Snowy Reach Trees
as the title says, have yet to test it
-Craft Lockpicks
Just allows to craft Lockpicks (one would think it would be in vanilla)
-MCM Recorder
As the title says, you and i know how much of a time saver this is, tho i have yet to test i cant see why it would not work
-MenuMaid - hide unwanted MCM
Quality of life, help with the clutter on the MCM, paired with MCM recorder it helps a lot
-Better Dynamic Snow Patch Collection (v2.11):
just tested it, it fixes some annoying stuff on Windhelm (thats news for me) and around othe places, i also noticed a minor performance increase
-Snow Animals Spawn in Snowy Regions:
Leveled Lists edits so snowy variants spawn on snow regions.
-Parallax Mesh Patch Collection:
Im still checking out all the needed mods but i think its worth if you take a look at it
-Immersive Ingredient Harvesting
Simple but inmersive addon, works wonders with the harvesting anims from EVG
-Enhanced Invisibility
Not a buff, just visual changes, light weight.

That's one of the many things I like about SSE (and linked about LE): you can play the game from completely unmodded to with over 1,000 mods and have fun.   Looks like I'll be learning how to compact FormIDs, so I can add more mods, or at least look into doing it.

I'm not as bad but i just spent 2 weeks in the hospital over pneumonia (chest tube and attached to a vacuum port on the wall) and i still can't even take apart a damn chair without stopping and waiting for the chest to stop hurting, i feel ya. One foot in front of the other.
