asebw Posted June 24, 2019 Share Posted June 24, 2019 @Kythana I'm still trying to solve my river wood crashing issue, so I haven't really gotten past the first post of late. I will admit that I haven't found all the eggs yet. The problem with Skyrim mods from what I've seen, is that a lot of these mods seem to have done the FOMOD work in the MCM menus. I'm still undecided as to whether this is a good thing or not, but I will agree that skyrim needs more FOMOD. It's actually kind of interesting from a IT perspective. You can see how things evolved with skyrim modding, and how it effected FO4 modding. Link to comment
asebw Posted June 24, 2019 Share Posted June 24, 2019 @Kythana So I've started doing some testing for wearable lanterns, and this one might have to be skipped. Long story short, the mod was never updated for SKSE 64, and it has issues. There are fixes to get it working, including a mod to get the MCM to display correctly, but it is a bit of a pain to do. I think this one might have to be put aside for now, at least until fixes it. 1 Link to comment
Dpstyle Posted June 24, 2019 Share Posted June 24, 2019 @asebw i been playing with Wearable Lanterns for a while (with this setup) and i've had no issues with it, other than having to use the shout power for the config instead of MCM menu. no patch or any additional downloads needed. its really just the MCM that seems bugged on it Link to comment

asebw Posted June 24, 2019 Share Posted June 24, 2019 @Kythana After some testing, I think the RS Children Overhaul issue is due to the USSEP that is bundled with it. When the patch is installed in the FOMOD, I get frozen main screen issue. If the USSEP patch isn't installed, I don't think it will be an issue. 1 Link to comment

If your answer is 'yes' what is with the mod 'SSE Fixes' and achievements? Does it work with 'SSE Engine Fixes' alone? If it works i could finally remove the big red lines in post #1. Then only 'Go to bed' would require an additional remark and another problem would be solved. _____________________________________________________ Btw does anyone have the website for the file 'SkyrimStrapOns_CBBESSEBodyslide.7z'? With the exception of 'Go to Bed' (the OA is working on an update) the list is, after a few changes, now compatible with the update from Bethesda. Playing on 3840x2160 resolution I struggled a bit getting a playable framerate, what helped a lot was editing "SSAO_SSIL" Values in ENB. In Skyrim SE Folder open "enbseries.ini", find the section [SSAO_SSIL] and lower these two settings to 0.25: ResolutionScale=0.25 SourceTexturesScale=0.25 I use Re-Engaged ENB for Vivid Weathers V7.6c and in this preset these two values were by default at 0.5. I reduced them to 0.25 and got about 20-25% more fps having no noticable impact on image quality. Starting the game the first time after edting ENB file takes a while for the main menu to load, but at second time and afterwards it loads normally again. Perhaps you want to give it a try, don't know how much impact it has on lower resolutions. 1 Link to comment

But i think thats a bit too much for beginners. ? _____________________________________________________ Looks like the two fixes for SKSE were somewhat conflicting. We loose a few FPS (two in my case) which, depending on your video card, you might not even notice. But the overall gameplay is way smoother than before. Whiterun had sometimes tiny loading lags - those are gone. I'll be checking Riften later. Hopefully it is the same there. Link to comment
Dpstyle Posted June 25, 2019 Share Posted June 25, 2019 seeing as i was still having those CTD issues with 95% of mods disabled, i figured it was something wrong with my "output" mods (those made from the overwrite folder) i must have messed up somewhere lol. so now i decided to wipe it clean (uninstall the whole game/mod folder) and start anew. This time i'll only follow your list but.. i have 2 mods that are not on the list that i would definately wanna keep: - Imperious: Races of Skyrim & - Convenient Horses (as they didnt seem to conflict with anything) could you advise me where to put them (originally, they were in overwrite along with Ordinator) Link to comment

After dealing with the river wood crash issue for four bleepin days straight, I had a fire sale on all things skyrim. I'll rebuild my mod list tomorrow or thursday and try again. Did a little searching around LL, and came across the page for Leito's skyrim strap ons. Not sure if this is the one you're looking for, but perhaps it can put you on the trail if it isn't. The only files that came up in overwrite was FNIS files when i used "generateFNIS" and already made a "FNIS Output MOD". Then i started the game and let the mods get installed(Sexlab, Devious Device, etc, etc, Defeat") and some more files appeared in Overwrite and made "Overwrite OUTPUT" Mod from then too. All animations and mods are working, I already stayed 2+ hours in whiterun testing the animations/mods, i only get CTD when i leave the city... Link to comment
Dpstyle Posted June 25, 2019 Share Posted June 25, 2019 ok, then i dont know, maybe missing mesh/texture. in the outworld map. my issue was due to some error/files being loaded in Overwrite and not knowing where to put them i had them in a custom mod "Overwrite Output" and that screwed up my entire game.. i mean, i could play sometimes 5seconds , other times 2 hours+, other times i would CTD when opening menu/inventory.. and i didnt know what was causing it, so im not starting over from scratch lol.. for the 5th time xD Link to comment

I'm trying for almost two weeks now to find the source so i can add it and had no luck so far. Everything i tried has been a dead end. If it was combined with another mod then there would have been something mentioning it (and i was very creative with search parameters). But even that was just another dead end. ? Link to comment

I just noticed that my loadorder differs from the list. PapyrusUtil SE - Modders Scripting Utility Functions must be placed behind Sexlabs Framework. (Fixed) Tomorrow i'll check (and recheck) everything. I only hope that i'm not the one unintentionally causing problems... Link to comment
