Just updated to 1.0.4 and everything looks good, the script-injected menu appears as it should, etc.

The only oddity I have noticed: the vendor shacks snap together front to front, but not side to side.  I don't know if you intended for them to snap together at all, but I'm guessing you didn't intend for them to snap together the way they do.  Side to side snapping would be handy, though.

Otherwise, great work as usual.  A++ would endorse again.

They snap to Balcony floors (and therefore to each other as well).

So they do 'snap' together but weren't made to do so.

This is by design. Don't snap them front to front. :)

  • Fixed 'rotated' dogs issue on Dog Shacks.
  • Added 6 vendors

@EgoBallistic I added seperate side snap points to the vendors after your feedback. They should be easier to snap now.

They can still snap front to front though, that's because of the balcony snappoints.

Awesome.  The front snap feature for balconies is a great idea too.  It didn't occur to me at the time since I was just testing by placing stuff randomly in a big empty spot at Starlight.

Found some minor glitches which I've fixed. 1.0.4a coming soon. Found a helmet model stuck in the door frame of the SecuriTower, I use those to help me place the door snap, forgot to take it out. The loadscreen transforms were all fucked, fixed now. :)

Unless anyone has any other ideas for shacks/prefabs I'll leave this mod for what it is, looking back to it as a successful release and something I'm very happy to play with myself.

Couldn't help myself and I'm making some (if I say so myself.. awesome) crafting stations. Smaller and much less bulky than the regular crafting stations you know. :)

They're very small, allow for a lot of item overlap (almost as if you can place them anywhere) so you can snug them tightly wherever you want them in your small shacks and player homes.

Finished the armor and weapons workbenches, each one has a regular sized and a (very) small sized variant.

Now you can have your workbenches anywhere you'd like!

These are looking good Reginald after using your shacks I went through my mod list and stripped out all sim settlements as I found myself building my own houses etc and hardly using the sims mod so I'm going to if the game feels any smoother without the sims settlements mods.

The mod Hand made turrets https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/37877  go really well with your shacks.

Thanks for your hard work and for sharing .

Oh wow, more updates since I checked, amazing. Thanks Reginald!

By the way, what's an "extended settler" and where is it from?

They're my own breed of settlers. They have a bit more health, a bit more heavy guns and such. (To keep them alive during attacks and to make them a bit more reliable). :)

Awesome! Installing new toys right now. ?

Do you think there might be some premade planter shacks in the future? Setting up my farming location always gets me annoyed that all the plants are placed freestyle without snaps, and one at a time...

Perhaps. I've been looking into them, but there's quite a few alternatives already available for planters.

I would like to have some indoor plant stations but not sure how to go about it properly. Let's see what happens in the future. :)

Are there? I know there's the Diggers mod with a food station or two (do they generate decent surplus, even?) and I think some other one I know has 2-food planters like the ones you see at Graygarden, I guess. Are there larger prefabs? I'd sort of like a small-ish greenhouse or fenced area (with dirt base, perhaps) with 6 food or even 12 so you can set up at least a settler at a time, if not even more.

Anyway, no big deal, the planters do fine if nothing else. If I'm missing a mod that has something bigger, I'd love to hear.

Now that you mention it, I haven't seen many. I'll take a look if I can whip something up. My last tries weren't very successful so I'll give it another shot.

Hey Reginald, last time I used this mod was Feb21 a few days before my harddrive crashed and lost my fallout data, just wanted to say I started playing/modding again and this mod has grown so much! It's a staple for settlement mods imo. I really love all the things you've added, especially the indoor shops. It was something I was hoping for, thanks for all the work you've put into it!

I feel you.

NOW, I've got to beg for a "little grass shack" to use with several Caribbean Island themed settlement mods that I have to be able to give Ivy the UTMOST beach experience.  Till then.  Thank you so much for sharing these!  They are going to make my new play through with Ivy even more fun!

Great! Now I gotta remodel all my raider outposts. Compared to these, my Place Everywhere shacks, which I thought - until now - were really good-looking for self built houses, stink to high heavens. Meeeh!

No, seriously Mr Reginald, thank you for yet another gem. This is absolutely prefect for a survival run - especially in combo with SKK Mobile Workshop. No need to painstakingly construct a cool looking abode - just pick the next one from this long list here^^. Just like Ivy and MAID, this one will for ever sit in my mod archive. Keep it up!

I know in 2019 it was stated that you wouldn't make the mod SMM compatible, but times have changed and just about every good settlement mod requires it. I have Reg's Prefabs installed, and all of the assets are working and ready to go (as evidenced in the console), but because of SMM I just can't access them : ( A real shame too, since I've used this mod in the past and absolutely loved it
