Thats something i havn't heard of before. It might be a good idea to ask @dagobaking about that.

That doesn't happen on a minimum install. So, more work needs to be done by the user to identify what conditions cause it (probably by incrementally turning other mods on and testing each time).

I followed the step-by-step (although I skipped the optional mods), the folder listed doesn't exist nor can I find it in any mod I installed.

Strip by hotkey works, but no animations are played...

Re-Install THIS, carefully flagging on the menu only the XMLs you want to install, leaving out the ones that patch mods you are not using.

Thank you, that fixed it.

NMM bungles up the linebreaks in the descriptions, so they are just walls of text and I missed it

Hello all,

 

one short question.

 

How can i find out that AAF is working?

 

Last time it works for me i get allway a list one upper left if i load a game.

This dont happend anymore since i reinstalled the game and mods.

 

Is there another way to check for example in the commend line ?

Good feedback, I'm trying in MO2 and it's fine for me so I didn't know it. I'll see if I can split them in some way.

If it's working you will get a pop-up message box saying it is installed when you first load it.

 

So, it sounds like something is off on your install. Possibly F4SE problem.

I checked in some other mods and found this in the fomod for "You talk too much":

thanks for the answer. First of all i am a total NOOB with that Mods.

 

F4SE:  i am not shure but i think ist working because i start the game with it, in the IngameModlist is it shown also.

Shure is only shows that it is installed but not that it is working

 

But i get "install" Messages for other Mods for example Ivy, Fusion City.

That has found the executable. But, its possible that you didn't copy the Data folder over. Follow the instructions that come with F4SE very closely.

OMG i am so terrible stupid..........

 

Found the problem after Dagobakings commend ...

F4SE was not installed correct, i have only downloaded the file extract and move to my FO4 gamefolder.

Than "installed" it per MO2.

But of course this dont work.

This one was the answer for me :  

 

And for all who wants to know if F4SE is working, just open the console in FO4 and tipe : getf4seversion

if it shows a version, it works....

F4SE is fixed now, but i have some problems to manually install with APT and A.J.

 

Please pardon i am an old man and have asolutly 0 skill in scripting so i thinks it is a NOOB-Problem..

 

So i try to give all perhaps needed information to you.

 

In den description is shown the path: Data/AAF called Halstrom_tagData.xml

 

With NMM the program install the files in : E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data 

for example : E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\AAF , so its is clear where to copy.

 

MO2 dont create the folders in the Datadir so i am not shure where is the correct one.

 

following the video how to use MO2 i have created 3 directotys here :

 

 

So the installed Mods are here:

 

 

 

 

is this folder ?

I use THIS ONE and it works fine for me, I though it was the most updated, what "latest version" are you referring?

 

EDIT: I just re-downloaded and reinstalled just to try and it worked. The only thing that makes me wonder - do you flag the Mod Organizer Dummy flag which is made to allow Mod Organizer to install them? if you don't, do you right click - ignore missing files? I guess one of these two operations are mandatory for mod organizer people.

Yes,I have the same version 2.15, downloaded from the same).Personally, I have to install the APT had no problems (but with other mods).I don't know what this is about.

because i have followed the instructions from Kythana, i moved from Nexus Mod Manger to MO2 ( and yes i have had some problems with NMM bevore

In the inst. Video for MO2 it was recomend to NOT use the FO4-Datafolder because it will cause some problems.

So i followed the instruction and add the folders for MO2 on my "gamesdrive".

 

And what to say, it works fine

 

P.S. You shurely noticed that i am not a nativ speaker, so i hope i understand you correct, somesimes it is so easy to wrong understand one word and crah the game

Both mods use this flag to allow Mod Organizer to read correctly the files. That's the only thing that comes in my mind. This is a workaround which works for us, but if someone has still issues with it please let us know.

 

Also, if some things in the mods' descriptions are not clear, please drop a line and ask for informations: sometimes simply rephrasing a sentence could make things definetely more clear, especially when the person writing a description is a non-english like me...
