Released v2.0.2 which should include a fix for custom body texture issues identified by (@Sladesamm and @Lagertha1919 ).

V2.0 Update Notes in case you need to catch up.:

Spoiler

v2.0 has been finally completed and released, it's main functionality update is the ability to treat the Takao and Dewa Suits separately w/ different customizations so you can have 2 different sets of customization for each body type. CCModPackGenerator has also been updated to be compatible with the new version while the framework now includes CCModPackUpdater.exe to assist in upgrading existing mod-packs.

Takao and Dewa:

image.png.ba51c58565a5385455a184a5035f3e2e.png

How to use:

Equip Takao or Dewa suit on your character. Open the F3 customization menu for the suit they are wearing. Ensure the girl icon is colored (active) and not grayscale (inactive). If the girl is not properly set to use the suit she is currently wearing it won't look right. To change, hover over the girl icon in the customization  menu and press any of the option keys (1-9, 0) to set her to the suit indicated by the current customization menu.

PSA:

If playing Steam, the event this week includes the SR suit Dewa which is required if you wish to use more than just 1 customization from Takao. If you miss it now, hopefully it will be available in the Girl Coin Shop like DMM in ~12 months, so try your best to get it now for as many characters as you can.

If playing DMM, the Dewa suit, if you don't have it can be purchased in the Girl Coin shop for 100 girl tokens (up to Nagisa in terms of character releases). This means that for Monica, Sayuri, Patty, Tsukushi they only have Takao available for them. Kanna was available but only if you bought her before the event that included Dewa which was also before she was available for F2P.

Important Notes - Updating/Mod-Pack Installation

The INI logic in all mod-packs must be updated. If you use ModManager, this is all handled for you automatically, so using it is recommended. If you are managing you mods manually and using the provided patch or fresh install zips, there is an update.bat inside the CostumeCustomizer folder that will automatically update existing mod-packs and recreate any missing mod-pack folders. That update.bat file should be run after installing manually and whenever you install a mod-pack that was published pre-2.0, you will want to re-run update.bat again. Because of the utility of the update.bat, there is only 1 PATCH zip that can update from any previous version.

Secondary note, there may be some issues when the update attempts to regenerate INI files for some of the mod-packs. I've tried a few but I believe some of mine are outdated and I need to check the more recent releases. You can post in here the publicly released ones you have issues with and I can assist and notify the mod-creator about how to correct them officially.

Limitations/Known Issues:

  • Kasumi and Misaki use the same skin hash which means either they both must use Takao or both use Dewa to work properly if on the screen at the same time.
  • Misaki and Patty use the same shadow head hash which means Misaki must be configured to use Takao (only suit available for Patty) for Patty to work properly, which also means using Patty, Misaki and/or Misaki concurrently on screen must all wear Takao like before. Unfortunately, I didn't find this out until this past weekend as Patty & Misaki are the only ones that share both ib/vb0 for the low-poly head mesh used for shadows, everyone else at least has a unique vb0 from each other.
  • If the same character is displayed on screen more than once wearing both Dewa and Takao, it won't look correct (likely only possible during Matches with the opponent wearing Takao)

Pictorial Guide to using both Dewa/Takao concurrently:

@tantrave - The Pictorial Guide ideally was trying to hint at this but probably needs more context, didn't want to neccearrily bake in text in the graphic as people can't easily auto-translate that.

Before (mismatched slot assignment):

Correction:

Hit F3 to bring up menu (Check which menu it's for at the bottom, in this case  this customization menu is for Takao), therfore we need to hit F3 again.

image.png.b9f1591f818551777baf361d2d25b427.png

- After Hitting F3 again to cycle to the Dewa customization menu:

image.png.d3799fd1f5b6bd807657206051edc66e.png1

Note that the small Honoka icon in the customization menu is grayed out. Hover over her icon and press 1 to switch her to use Dewa's customization.

image.png.c90176e6cd508f6e6e86f593b0c654c6.png

Now Honoka's icon is colored (active) and the issue is corrected.

The reason for this is, I can detect which suit is which based on the texture hash of the swimsuit to determine whether its Takao or Dewa, but when drawing the body, I can't differentiate between Takao or Dewa. Therefore, you must configure in the customization menu whether the body for each character should is supposed to use Takao's customization or Dewa's customization.

After the update to 2.0.2, all tanning option got dead. If I tan, girls got tanned ONLY in the face.

I saw this in 1.9.6 and F10 solved this quite simply. Now I'm stuck and know nothing to solve this. Care to give me a advise?

P.S. I ran update.bat and ccmodpack somthing and they didn't change anything.

@ForYourInformation - Ya looking at it, i forgot that by doing the change i did for 2.0.2 i needed to make an adjustment there too. I should have yet another patch before the end of the day.

Give this a try, drop these in your main CC Folder, you need all 3 since in 2.0.0-2.0.2 I accidentally used the common hash previously in all 3 files causing them to override each other (in addition to the other issue i introduced in 2.0.2)

很抱歉,我已经更新至2.0.2,打开菜单,仍然是灰色图标,点击图标同样无法生效。请求帮助。。。

If google translate worked at all and I understood correctly... try moving the mouse cursor over the gray icon and press a keyboard number key 1, 2, or 3, etc...

如果Google翻译完全奏效并且我理解正确...请尝试将鼠标光标移到灰色图标上,然后按键盘数字键1、2或3等。

太感谢了,问题已经解决了,并且都正常工作

So I've been working with CC mods for a while now and I just realize I don't think I've EVER successfully transferred weights from the provided girl files (chest, breasts, groin, etc).  I usually have to resort to transferring weights from other CC mod files (e.g. Aridia lace) which works well enough, but I wonder what I'm doing wrong.

I load up common_groin, fit the clothing to the model, transfer weights, nearest face interpolated etc, sometimes I normalize all, sometimes I don't, and I export and it usually produced a garbled mess. Then I try it with common_chest/the torso model and it usually produces the same results.

@Geradness Clothing for Bra, Panty, Skirt categories use a different set of weights since they use the vertex groups of the original Takao/Dewa clothing, while all other categories and body meshes are limited to just the original body's vertex groups. For the most part, this only really adds the vertex groups to manipulate a skirt but also loses the vertex groups for the arms past the elbows and legs past the thighs. The blender files available available from the link in my signature, or posted in the CC Modding Resources download includes several meshes with the text SuitWeights in them that you can use to transfer weights from depending on which one is closest for those bra, panty or skirt categories. For any other meshes you would want to transfer from the BodyWeights ones or continue transferring from the body meshes inside the shared folder.

Er... pardon my blender ignorance but I downloaded that file and it won't let me transfer weights from Suitweights_ChestOnly to the bikini top I'm trying to make because Suitweights_Chestonly is grayed out.  I'm.... not sure how to make it not grayed out, but all I know is the "normal" method of transferring weights from one object to another doesn't seem to work because I can't select it.

@Geradness

If you're using blender 2.8+, that is likely the reason. Just a little mistake that didn't appear in blender 2.7

Here's how to fix it, so the mesh appears viewport and then you can transfer weights.

In the Outliner...

hello, How to solve this bug.

When I only install CostumeCustomizer and use takao, there will be an error in the chest map (Picture 1)

When the knight77 DOAXVV_AllInOne_Pack_Unorganized integrated package is installed at the same time, the clothes on the arm will be damaged (Figure 2)

Ooh... that helps, but nothing happens when I shift select the two suits and do the whole transfer weights dance.... I guess I'm too used to 2.8.  I must have to do something different.

EDIT: Nevermind, it works great now!  For some reason after I saved and reloaded the file seems to be transferring weights properly.  Thanks so much!!

I installed the skin texture patch to solve the bug in the chest, but the bug in the texture on the arm still exists

Ok.... so I used the Chest Only SuitWeights data to make a bra for the common body and it worked brilliantly. But then I tried using the same data to make panties and it's all gone wrong.  It's not a little off, it's polygons exploding all over the screen wrong.  I know it's not an error with the stride count because I tried it both ways just to be certain.

Am I using the right data for panties?  The guide suggests the common chestonly suit data is for bras AND panties.

Posted

@Geradness - Don't forget to delete all vertex groups before transferring. Exploding meshes are either mismatched vertex group order (the reason why its important to import from the correct mesh since they have different vertex group orders) or like you tried the stride mismatches. Just to clarify, for the panties and bra clothing, you will want to transfer from "SuitWeights_ChestOnly" while the replacement body meshes will always use "BodyWeights_Common_HighRes".

Ok sorry for all my previous questions, I was struggling with the basics of making mods, but I've had much better progress turning SR and R suits into CC mods.  I'm struggling a bit trying to turn Hitomi's Jeans into a CC mod though.  Which suit weight would I use to make her jeans stick to her legs and groin?

@Geradness - You'd probably want to utilize the Shoes/Legs category for the Jeans. The jeans would then want to transfer from BodyWeights.

Ok, so I'd take the Bodyweights model and do a straight transfer of the weights?  Or delete all the vertices that exist outside the legs and groin and then transfer the weights?  Or something else more complicated?
