Sexout Brothel is, you guessed it, a brothel that is completely sexout capable built initially for male player characters. I only just started it, so I am very open to any suggestions or features you might have for the plugin. What I have so far: Located just north of Freeside's main gate Floor plan wise, it uses a copy of the King's school of impersonation. Ability to hire workers out, naturally A bar with dancers A small quest line where you can take over the joint. Both male or female characters will be able to do this. Though the paths may vary a bit. Once owner , you'll get to make decisions. Your choices directly impact how profitable you are. As owner you get free use of all of the brothel's features. Though you might have to cut into your profits to pay workers maybe? Eventually my Breeder plugin will add a harem component to it, but there won't be anything pregnancy mod related to this plugin by itself. So that's a quick run down of what I'm thinking. Later on I'll allow female player characters to get a job there. I do still need an in game name for the place. Tell me what you like, or don't like, what you think would be a good addition, etc. Quite a bit more shallow content wise than my other mod, but I figured Sexout needed this pretty badly and I don't think it's going to be that much work.

coretex Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Now.. maybe im thinking too much like making it a "base of operations" once you take it over.. but alittle spot for storage, and/or even buying/stocking weapons and ammo for the player might be kinda nice. Figure some place like that in the wasteland would need some source of "protection" to keep the peace in and around the building. And hire additional npc's to work in the building in various capacities and positions, maybe not necessarily "hiring" being the operative word to use in some cases. Too bad theres no cars in the game, a parking lot/garage/etc would have been cool, anyway.. maybe brothel/casino?... i know theres like already several in the game, but this one would be way cooler, and something the player can directly have fun with.. and if possible, take the kings building, and if you can either open up more floors/rooms on it, and or.. take the building, and take the main entry room it has, and then mirror the whole layout, so its like symetrical building, 2 identical halves just mirrored. I know thats alot of cell work, but if its something that you like, could slowly work into it.

Or old school-inspired with The Cat's Meow or something similar. With the bunny suits already integrated through pregnancy and store you could go with Playboy Club or something inspired by it. Leisure Lad perhaps? And of course there's always movie inspired names like The Titty Twister. Or! Use this as the base for the SW parody by making it Jawba's Club. Or not.

That made me sadder than pandas with no bamboos... @coretex There's a handful of vehicle mods like the motorcycle one or that vertibird. There's even ones that act as a fast traveling so a Helipad or parking lot or garage still has some uses. I think this one should stick as a brothel. There's already casinos 4 of them to be exact and if you include Lucky 38 and Bison and Steve mods then there's 6. When you mean "directly have fun with" I assume you mean running it in which case The Lucky 38 mod would have already done that. @User29 I can sorta see the King's layout working but more of the lower tier brothel. Not that I know how an actual brothel looks like since I've never been to one. What I had in mind was more of Jacobstown's House. Cause it slightly reminds me of the gimp place from Saints Row the 3rd. You could also look up reference layouts of brothels or establishments like them from the era Fallout takes place

If you're thinking a traditional old-west brothel then the main floor would be mostly open with a bar, a dance floor, and maybe a stage. Then the upper floors would have different rooms, also known as "cribs" or "whore-cribs". Usually each room would belong to one of the prostitutes, or if there are more girls than rooms then the higher ranking girls would have their own rooms while the lower girls would share one or two common-use rooms. So really, if you want to re-use an existing building then the Atomic Wrangler would fit better than the Kings School. Though both work.

So the top would be the "low" end hookers and the underground would have the "high" end ones. That or the top would just be a simple lobby were the guards take your weapon. Don't know why but the layout of the lodge just screams "brothel" for me

zippy57 Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Take the weapons or don't, but don't set a flag that stops the player from using weapons because it takes away player freedom and (like DisablePlayerControls) there's no indication to the player that this has been forced and so people will think something is broken.

Of course, you'd have to protect your merch, which would make for some fun. Drunks and foolish men falling in love with your ladies means you have to teach 'em to stay away from 'em. zippy57 Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Never tested the FightinFlag part of DisablePlayerControls (I assume that's what the No Fighting flag you're talking about is?) so I'm not certain how it works, but there's a difference between simply telling them that unholstering their weapon will get them shot, and actually preventing them from unholstering their weapon if they choose to do so.

First and foremost, female player characters definitely need a... how to put this... non-victim path of progression. Too many sexout mods paint female character as victims who only escape their predicaments by being good fucks, your own Breeder notwithstanding. A brothel would allow an unusually equal-opportunity approach of being a good business-person, not just a good fuck. Maybe include some more aggressive use of Cherchez le Femme and/or Black Widow to aid this (just because you're not a victim doesn't mean you aren't a good fuck and don't know how to use it). Secondly, services. I'm not sure what you were planning to include in "kinks", other than you mentioned a Breeder plugin, but I think offering... dog services, for lack of a better phrase, as part of the base plugin would be a good idea. Men could shell out a good amount of caps to watch one of the hookers and, say, the brothel's guard dog, fuck. Women could do that, too, but could also pay to have the dog fuck them. More creatures could be done this way, perhaps added through small quests, but the dog should be available from the get-go, IMO.

You could choose which one to buy (possibly by trying them out first). - This could be a way to introduce the female NPC to the joint, though it will be in the victim role again which I don't mind but someone else here opted to change for once - Freeside is full of lowlife drug addicts who will need to keep their hands of off your property; lot of action options here - Option where to 'stage' your hookers. from lowlife squatter camps to the somewhat better NCR camp - Escort service to remote area's of the world when the male NPC has grown to a well known status or the female NPC is getting good at her job - Basement with ZAZ components. I always get the feeling ZAZ isn't used a whole lot - If it is a brothel have some action take place in it. Meaning NPC's using NPC's in the small rooms or on the stage - Name: What about 'WW' Two big 'W's overlapping eachother. Wastelands Whores Hope the above sparks some ideas, help you or whatnot
Jaluda Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 I agree that the ZAZ stuff needs more use, maybe even a few themed rooms with specialised prostitutes? Like a vault decorated room with a girl in a skimpy vault suit, or a girl dressed as a fiend who you can do drugs with, that sort of thing
sullivan Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 I like the idea of having your standard Brothel services at the main floors, an then a basement with the kinky stuff (zaz etc.) and under that the real perverted stuff like creatures. In normal gameplay you see those animations so rarely... And i think there should be quite a few people in New Vegas that would pay good money to see a show with a girl and (for example) a Death Claw. That would also be a good use for the Stage. Looking forward to see what you come up with!
cih Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Hello, I was thinking about some other aspect of the brothel idea. From the thread so far, I see that the brothel will be a big establishment. Big establishments will produce big caps, and big caps draw certain factions to you. For example, the Omertas will be in direct competition with you. In short, I think including some interaction with all the major factions (or at least the ones most directly involved in similar trade) could be nice for the immersion. Few examples. 1) Choosing a faction to protect you. 2) Dealing with racketeers. 3) Discounts for certain faction/s (could be lnked to 1)) 4) The initial owner of the brothel could be affiliated with a faction, taking over should lead to problems with that faction. Enough with the brothel macro-economy, time for some micro-economy. 1) Drugs are widespread, especially with the low-life outside the strip. Choosing to hook your girls on something will lead to more obedience, but less enthusiasm and not very great performance. Also drugs cost caps as well. If you decide to run a drug-free establishment, quest (repeatable) that involves a hooker that become addicted, problems with drug using customers. 2) Are the girls that work for you slaves or hired. Could be interesting if you actually have a choice (or use both ways for different clients). 3) Contraception costs money, how "clean" is your brothel? Pandemics of STDs could be interesting "problem" happening. Also pregnant whore is an issue as well. 4) Sex shows that involve funky critters (think Mexican Donkey Show) About the PCs involvement. I would love if there are several ways to approach (or be approached) by the brothel. The first and most obvious is that the PC goes there for entertainment. Second, as I mentioned 2 ways to get girls (or boys to be fair) to work, this could apply for the player the same way. For example, the PC is kidnapped and sold to the owner OR the PC goes there looking for work.

It may 'just' be Freeside, but the city of New Vegas in general has standards. Both House and the King wouldn't stand for it. We're not talking about a little out-of-the-way place like a vault or a raider camp or something. Money, drugs and broken promises should suffice. As they do IRL. I do like cih's ideas on faction protection & how to run the place otherwise
