[FO4] Various AAF XML files

View File

30 June 2019 - Uploaded 2.4, an update made by EgoBallistic, to be in line with the latest version of Themes and AAF. I left the previous 2 files (2.3 and 2.3 patched) just for "historical purposes", but if you keep your game updated you should definetely use this latest 2.4 version.

06 May 2019 - I was warned of some change in the latest AAF who made necessary a correction in the syntax of some xmls. So I uploaded the same 2.3 but it should be patched to work properly with the new framework version. It's untested, now tested, please tell me if there's issues. Other than that, I still stand on what I wrote below, even if this time I didn't put a password on the archive for practicity of those in need to update. (PS sorry if I made a couple of reuploads, I needed to make corrections)

01 May 2019 - The life of the latest version 2.3 has ended. Until a new updated version won't be made, no user should install it. I leave the file here as a reference for whoever wants to pick it, modify, copy/paste IDs etc., it's a file intended for modders' reference and not for users. The password to extract the archive is sunnysmile.

These XML allow extra combinations with the existing animations, so you can have more possibilities when choosing actors / animation / furniture. I'm making some XML files while I'm learning how things work. I'll dump them here if they seem interesting enough. Please let me know what you think.

NOTE ON VERSION 2.3

- Corrected some strapons, thanks to Torn for test

- Removed Leito Beta files, I saw he introduced furnitures on V2

Install

Since v. 2.2, there's a practical FOMOD All-In-One installer (tested with NMM and MO2). Many thanks to Roggvir to help me solve all the issues that came out in the creation.

You can install them manually if you know what folders / files need to be installed and where.

Requirement:

- AAF

- SavageCabbage vanilla pack. If you have the full, I think it works anyway, I'm just not using its animations

- Leito FF patch (which will want you to install Vioxis Strapon too)

- Horizon patch requires Horizon mod

- Vs patch requires V's Stylish Decor mod

Issues:

- If you have an error, first of all please remove the XML file and see if the error goes away. These XML files are loaded everytime you load your save, you are safe in doing it.

- If the error goes away when you remove the XML, check if you installed the Requirements.

Old description, it's not important, it's only for reference:

Spoiler

These XML allow extra combinations with the existing animations, so you can have more possibilities when choosing actors / animation / furniture. I'm making some XML files while I'm learning how things work. I'll dump them here if they seem interesting enough. Please let me know what you think.

BETA FILES (from v2.2.1)

I'm going to post on the bottom of the description some extra files I use. They don't kill you, nor crash your game, but there's a small chance that they can cause little downsides (animations with the same name repeat on the Wizard menu, page down getting stuck while browsing the list while page up works etc...). My suggestion is use them if you have a working game, as a new option to increase variety in animations, so if you'll have an issue you know it could be caused by them. In that case, you only need to remove the files and everything comes back to normal after you reload a savegame. But PLEASE REPORT ME FEEDBACKS IF YOU FIND SOMETHING, if they are Beta is because I'm having difficulties in finding a pattern. They won't be included in the FOMOD until they are in this Beta category.

NOTE ON VERSION 2.1

- After some chitchat with Halstrom, he gave me a very good input and I decided to change all the name conventions. You should UNINSTALL / REMOVE / DELETE all the previous files, if you installed some, I know it's boring but it's probably the last time.

- Now all the files start with AJ_XML, so you can easily regroup them in a mod manager or identifying them inside Data\AAF

- Some animation names changed too: everytime an animation has unlocked gender (so it will be possible to play it as FM or FF), it will be written as 2P and not FM anymore. Remember, actor (0) will be passive.

- New animations added on Vs (check the round tables), also corrected some.

NOTE ON VERSION 2.0

- Since I rewrote most things, you should UNINSTALL / REMOVE / DELETE all the previous files, if you installed some.

- The reason behind it lies in the fact that now things are becoming complicated for me and in this way I can add more files in an easier way.

- If you think some animations are missing from the list, don't worry because in few days I'll upload a new file which will add a lot of them.

- Next files (already done, just need to test more): Horizon patch; extra use of vanilla furnitures; a new animation pack (Atomic Beauty)

- In the XMLs I decided to follow the standard assumption that the first actor (0) is F/PASSIVE, while the other ones will be unrestricted (both M or F/active).

Install

Since v. 2.2, there's a practical FOMOD All-In-One installer (tested with NMM and MO2). Many thanks to Roggvir to help me solve all the issues that came out in the creation.

If you prefer some manual installation, download the single archive(s) I attached at the bottom of this description. Select those you want to install and unpack it/them inside your Fallout 4\Data folder, so that the XML files will end up inside Data\AAF. From v. 2.1, every XML file starts with AJ_XML

UnInstall

This is only for those who don't use a Mod Manager

- Version 2.1+

Inside Data\AAF, remove every file which starts with AJ_XML (or use a Mod Manager)

- Version 2.0

These are the files involved and must be deleted from Data\AAF (or use a Mod Manager):

>>> FF: SavageCabbage_FF_animationData and SavageCabbage_FF_positionData

>>> Ground: SavageCabbage_Ground_animationData and SavageCabbage_Ground_positionData

>>> Crowd: SavageCabbage_Crowd_animationData and SavageCabbage_Crowd_positionData

>>> Vs SC: SavageCabbage_Vs_animationData and SavageCabbage_Vs_positionData

>>> Vs Furniture: Vs_furnitureData.xml

Requirement:

- AAF

- SavageCabbage vanilla pack. If you have the full, I think it works anyway, I'm just not using its animations

- Leito FF patch (which will want you to install Vioxis Strapon too)

Description of the packages, their contents and possibly extra requirements:

*** ANIMATION XMLs ***

- FF: adds FF interaction to SavageCabbage animations, in the same way that Leito patch does.

File Names: AJ_XML_SC_FF_animationData.xml and AJ_XML_SC_FF_positionData

- Ground: adds some SavageCabbage animations on the ground (floor) instead than using furnitures. This is for both FM and FF.

File Names: AJ_XML_SC_Ground_animationData and AJ_XML_SC_Ground_positionData

- Crowd: unrestricts gender for M, allowing any F+strapon to play M role. This means FFM, FMM, FFF, FFFF, FMFF etc.

File Names: AJ_XML_SC_Crowd_animationData and AJ_XML_SC_Crowd_positionData

- Vs SavageCabbage : it adds peculiar/tweaked animations on furnitures from the amazing V's Stylish Decor, obviously if you are going to use this package you'll need to install that mod too. It also requires Vs Furniture (see below under FURNITURE FILES)

File Names: AJ_XML_SC_Vs_animationData and AJ_XML_SC_Vs_positionData

*** FURNITURES XMLs ***

- Vs Furniture : it will add furnitures from the amazing V's Stylish Decor to the list of eligible furnitures. This file is REQUIRED by any animation file that wants to be played on V's furnitures (actually only Vs SavageCabbage). Also, V's Stylish Decor IS REQUIRED, obviously.

File Names: AJ_XML_Vs_furnitureData

- Horizon Furniture : it will add furnitures from the amazing Horizon mod to the list of eligible furnitures. Also, Horizon IS REQUIRED, obviously. More specifically, Z_Architect.esm.

File Names: AJ_XML_Horizon_furnitureData

Issues:

- If you're using AAF wizard, you press PgDown and it doesn't go in the next animation, but if you press PgUp it goes on the previous animation, then please report me immediately

- If you have an error, first of all please remove the file and see if the error goes away. These XML files are loaded everytime you load your save, you are safe in doing it.

- V's are aligned by me, I based it to my char, if you have misalignment please post a pic and we can see what we can do.

- Huge alignment issue: try to cycle all the animations and retry the one who gave you the problem. If it persists, stop the animation and then retry, to see if it was an isolated case. If still persist, please post a picture to show the problem.

- Small alignment issue: please post a picture and let's see if we can correct.

- Group animations are not working? Actor 0 should be F/passive, so maybe you've pick M as first actor instead.

Thank you to all these who worked or still work in the previously mentioned mods.

Feel free to do whatever you want with these notepad files.

BETA FILES:

They won't kill you, but they require some more gameplay to see if everything's correct.

- Leito Beds: these 2 files will allow to play most Leito's animations on the single / double beds. They are gender unlocked (both FM and FF). THEY REQUIRE SAVAGE CABBAGE PACKAGE AND FF LEITO PATCH! Known issue: when it comes to 2 females, if Player is not Actor 0 (passive), they won't play.

Great! I was trying to do something like that, specially on the FemaleOnFemale side, I really hope many more will come like this, the right animationsand our fantasy can bring a lot of possibilities onto the table. What makes AAF amazing is just an opportuity like this!

NOW, you start modding FO4? Just when I'm about to delete it? That figures. Anyway, have fun with it.:P

"MODDING"? are you serious? :D

 I won't stop here and continue doing experiments with XMLs, so in case you want to provide details we could talk about it, it would be a pity if I overlap your works with XMLs... Just as information, my future plans are going to another modded furniture (Creative Clutter) and other animation packages.

Cool, I'll look into the Positioning ones and see what new IDs you have created then add them to the  APT xml for next update :)

You made good to remember me about APT, I still have to take confidence with the whole XML thing and I forget things. That seems a good idea. Or, eventually, what do you think about any XML would have its own separated tag file, to make things more modular and not load what isn't used? do you think it could give a benefit in terms of performances?

You can alternatively tag them yourself in your positioningData.XML if you like, eventually that would be good for smaller later packs to do so, APT just adds to any existing tags.
The advantage of them all being together at the moment is I can make mass changes more easily as I am still nutting out some things to get it set up, hopefully it will be stable in a month or so once I can get the Sex/Arousal/Spunk system nutted out which is now in ALPHA bug hunting and testing stage for multi actors. Having said that that file will get big fast when people start doing MMM/MFMF/MFF/FMFM etc variations of all the existing packs.

I can see pros and cons in both, still I have not enough informations to evaluate the better path.

Your actual advantage of mass changes is definetely very wise, due to circumstances. It also would make things more reliable when it comes to updates.

On the other hand, picking the path of modularity would allow to follow the golden rule that the less we install things we don't use, and the better we stay, both for performance (that we still can't check) and debug weird problems.

Maybe it could be a good idea doing both - sticking with a single html file for now and later when things are stable then separate it to allow modularity.

Hi,

I have installed the ground files, and I get a lot of [011] errors due to "FF_activity" missing. I do not want FF animations, so I don't have the FF patch installed, I just want to play MF animations on the ground.

How can I get rid of the FF errors?

<animation id="FM-Gr-Bed01-01Handjob" time="500" offset="0,0,-40,0:0,0,-40,0">
    <actor gender="F">
        <idle form="FD3"/>
    </actor>
    <actor>
        <idle form="FD4"/>
        <value path="morph" value="Erection" to="1"/>
        <value path="action" value="FF_activity" target="0" loop="true" from="1" to="0" steps="5"/>
    </actor>
</animation>

I suppose it's not as simple as deleting the highlighted row(s) which contain the reference to the "FF_activity" (or is it?)

Thank you

LE: apparently, it is that simple. I have deleted the FF lines and everything works as (I) intended. Thanks

It is! You got it! :)

As alternative, you can also do this: do not install ALL the FF patch, only extract these 2 files "FF_actionData" and "FF_equipmentSetData". They are the ones that define the FF_Activity, so the error won't popup, but it doesn't mean that you'll have FF animations.

But still, all the above files lack the gender restriction, which POTENTIALLY allows FF. Look at the second "actor" block, see how I omitted gender="M", it means it can be both M and F, so if you want to force M you just need to add that missing part.

Keep getting errors

AAF ERROR:[008] MorphSet ID "SCready" not found.

AAF ERROR:[008] MorphSet ID "SCunReady" not found.

It happens for each of the xml files you have downloadable.

SCready and SCunReady are part of SavageCabbage package, specifically inside SavageCabbage_morphSetData.XML . Do you have that file installed?

Ok now I am getting.... AAF ERROR: [011] ActionID "FFactivity" not found.

This happens after the first round of rape.  What did I forget to do?

The third requirement, the "FF Patch". Which then requries to install Vioxsis strapon. You can find both links in the description.

OMG now what did I forget???

AAF ERROR:[005] Actor ID "0" not found.

AAF ERROR:[011] Action ID "activity2" not found.

So sorry to be a bother but this mod setup is so complicated.

This error doesn't come from this mod. To solve, you should install the Sample XML from the AAF mod.

Getting the following error message: AFF error [016] undefined location : table. Add to furniture data XML to fix.

Anybody has any clues what this might be?

It can be a typo. I just checked everything but I can't spot it, that's strange. I'll double/triple check, but if you can do you have a chance to tell me which file you installed that caused it?

EDIT: double checked, after I re-downloaded directly from LL to avoid typos that I could have corrected (I don't suffer that error), unfortunately I still can't spot typos. I don't use "table" as location, is the error exact?

Yes exact. I have installed the latest AFF AFF patches RSE MCG animation position tags and all of your files except the crowd one.
