rd540edge Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 i don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but i can't seem to interact with anyone, i activate my extended dialouge mode, but just get generic responses, even when a slave is marked to be sold. i scanned through and didn't see anything.

Ah sorry, It seems, i misunderstand, i thought the "Mark" in MXR's Video (Npc Fixer) are used for Marking Slave to sell. So Here's My problem, I turn on my Additional Dialog. You should turn ADM after talking to your slave (using the "listen..." option), after that, talk using ADM (R)TALK) to one of the servants with the clipboard and sell them normally... It seems to work- atleast with npcs. I rename them... basically, it works like this: 1) open up console 2) select target NPC you wish to change name of 3) type: rename "insert new name between parenthesis" 1

I found the culprit it's the Full Dialog Interface, it's dropping about ±4 lines that should be in my normal conversation. I don't even know how to assign the slave into quartermaster if not for this. ?? Thanks a lot. ? 1

A note for those who have the "floor" problem. The mod must be among the last places in the Load Order. I have about 200 mods and Vortex sends this mod in position 30 (more or less). This makes the mod have many graphics glitchs. Setting a rule, loading auctionhouse.esp AFTER the last mod you have in your load order, solve this problem. 1

That's a ton of walking. I will move the beta down my load order just to see if it changes anything. It'd also be kinda cool if there was a status attached to slaving like ranks, that sort of thing. I do have a naming problem after an NPC has given birth under Family Planning (in that slave's names are changed to slave or settler and are unchangeable after that), but I'm assuming that is related to that mod, so I have a post there about that.

Care to let us know if you put it at the top, or bottom? I wish to enjoy this mod but can't seem to isolate the issue. I've been trying to change load orders, remove mods, reinstall etc.. so any help would be appreciated. Another thing I thought of, are the walls ans textures vanilla? Perhaps There's a mod we need that we don't have? Could you maybe share with us you mod list so I could have a look at them?

Yep, that turned out to be a (really obscure) bug in FPE. Details in this post if you're interested. I'll put out a new release of FPE soon, in the meantime the post I linked has instructions for changing the slaves' name back (tl;dr use the "setName" console command from Rename Anything).
EgoBallistic Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Not to pile on to this issue, but I also tried this mod earlier this morning and had "the floor problem". None of the walls, floors, etc, were present in the AuctionHaus cell. I looked at the mod in xEdit and there are no conflicts -- that would be surprising anyway since this is a new cell. I also loaded the plugin in the CK and rebuilt the PreCombines and PreVis, but that didn't help. I suspect the issue is related to the PreCombine/PreVis data. You might consider removing that altogether as it is only necessary if there are a lot of objects in the cell causing a performance impact.

My main concern was compatibility and I made (painful) decision to use just vannilla assets. It's a load order issue and maybe it's the previs data I added that's conflicting, sadly I can't reproduce the bug still, so I can't really iron out this bug.

I do have a naming problem after an NPC has given birth under Family Planning (in that slave's names are changed to slave or settler and are unchangeable after that), but I'm assuming that is related to that mod, so I have a post there about that. The wandering slavers act like any servant in the action house, however, since I added so many, I may have forgot to add the proper FormIdList to them... I'll take a look, sure. (also, it would help if you point out which region have you found them ) I can't script to save my life (yet, I'm trying so hard but I'm just a graphic artist) so ranks, lists and pretty much any quest that wasn't already added on JB I will not be able to do.

There is a space after the version number in the filename, so it looks like The Auction House BETA 1.3.3 .zip This breaks the mod installation if you install it with NMM. Rename the file and remove the space, so it looks like The Auction House BETA 1.3.3.zip and reinstall the mod, and it will work properly. The space at the end of the name causes the file links NMM creates in the Data folder to be invalid if the file is in a subfolder. The esp is not affected, but the game can't load the textures, precombined meshes, previs file, etc, and you wind up with missing walls and floors. 3

I just did a complete uninstall and reinstall and loaded only this mod and was still getting the bug, so I was coming to say it wasn't the load order and saw your post. Oh Well just happy it works now and can play . Great mod btw now that I got to see it in game. 1

I never used NMM so yeah, never would find out :P But okay, I'll just update the file then...

Jack Cabot (Couldn't think of someone that no one would've killed and would work if you have never met him as his first mission is to be his companion and protector.). Jack has big plans for you. First he must break you in. Break your will. Only when he has made you submit (only options in dialog are what Jack wants to hear) will he allow you to be his companion. Yes I went far, but having slavers walking around and having an auction house sounds great. Maybe "Preston" has a dark side. Maybe a caravan wants more to sell. Maybe the pimps from OAR need a new girl.
