Okay, thought so. You are trying to load too many animations. This is not an uncommon problem and you can find detailed discussion of it on the SLAL thread if you want specifics. You need to eliminate animation packs until your total animations (for character + creature) is under 10,000 (yours is over 13,000). This is a practical matter for getting your current game running. There are tweaks and some workarounds (details on the SLAL thread) but it is simpler by far to simply decide which animations you just have to have and get rid of the rest. There will likely be well meaning people who post after me who will give you some of those tweaks and workarounds but if you use them be forewarned that it will not be as simple as it sounds.

Also, and unrelated, you can turn off the Gender specific animation patch on FNIS. It is not likely hurting you but FNIS itself is saying that you don't need it.

Sorry missed the last couple of posts while I was editing my last.

ENBoost looks good. The red text can be a bit disconcerting but it is normal.

I agree with Psalam that it is looking like animation numbers as things stand.

Well... as i know, the new versions of Devious Devices 4.0 and 4.1 have give some problems like that, because they have a big lot of new animations and the game go to the animation limit, causing CTD.

But this happend only when use FNIS XXL and install a lot of animations packs.

The limit appear to be machine dependant and for some users are near the 10k or 11k animations but others players have near 14k or 15k animations without problem.

Put your machine specifications, cpu, memory, gpu, video memory... for have a orientation.

Run your Fnis for Users and look how many animations you have. Of course, you must use an updated version of Fnis. I have 7.44.

AS I SAY 8 HOURS AGO....

On FNIS download page it says: " Behavior Files and Generators - allows for 20,000 animation - ATTENTION: might result in longer generation times and more frequent load CTD"

And I've played with more animations before. I got occasional CTDs so I stopped playing for a year, but a couple of days ago I decided to uninstall all my mods and reinstall the updated versions of most of them. In other words, I've played Skyrim with a lot more animations than now and it has work except for the random CTDs.

And shouldn't FNIS give a warning if there are too many animtaions?

And even if I uninstall all animations and only install Anubs and Leitos animation packs (I've done that) the game crashes when I try to start a new game. With only those three animation packs.. That's why I really don't understand what's wrong and what to do to fix it. =(

The game works fine with all the older animation packs but the updated ones makes it crash...

The warning ONLY appear in NORMAL FNIS. No warning appear when you use Fnis XXL.

It's not just FNIS, SexLab has a limit too and they both define 'animation' differently. It is complicated and nobody appears to have the definitive answer. There have been lots of people having problems due to the DD/Zaz thing over the last several months which generated much discussion over numbers etc.

I have just over 11,000 animations with FNIS v7.4.5. XXL. I don't have problems but there again I don't run DD/Zaz. I also have a lot of animations unloaded in game, e.g. the vore and guro stuff isn't my thing.

If it isn't numbers then I'm pretty much out of ideas. Only thing I can come up with is a problem with SLAL itself. <sound of straw being grasped>

Listen I'm not trying to be an ass here. Take a deep breath. As I warned you in my last post this is a known and difficult issue with a lot of things thrown into the mix. If you want the details from the people who do this all the time, please go the SLAL thread. If you read through it you will find that FORE (of FNIS fame) himself says all the same things that we have just told you. No one (that I have read) has claimed to make it anywhere near 20,000 animations without crashing. Like all the other mods the animation mods mix and conflict with each other (oversimplifying here) to give you EFFECTIVELY more animations than what is listed.

So, as GenioMaestro said earlier, do whatever you want. Your problem sounds like too many animations. You are loading more animations than have been shown to be generally be safe. You are having CTDs.

In medical school they taught us, "if it looks like a duck and waddles like a duck, and quacks like a duck - it's a duck." But do whatever you think is best.

In your desktop press rigth click over "My Computer" and select "Properties" and you see a lot of info:

Operatin system version

CPU type and speed

normal memory

operating systems type (32 or 64 bits)

In your desktop press rigth click over "My Computer" and select "Manage" and open device manager:

Open screen adapter and you see:

Video card manufacturer, type and version

For get Video Memory with Microsoft must run DxDiag.

No, really. It was medical school. Remind me sometime and I'll tell you the joke about the specialists who went duck hunting.

There are lemming-related jokes there but I'm too tired.
