I believe I've found an incompatibility with another sex-mod.... the "Random Sex Mod", found here on LoversLab.  The issue is that the inside of all buildings in Cocksmen Village appear to be a "dead zone".  If the Random Sex mod becomes active inside a building, nothing happens, and it crashes to a point of having to be reinstalled.

 

Random sex can happen in the streets of Cocksmen, just not inside.  The Random Sex mod appears to work correctly everywhere else in Skyrim.

I've got a question -- I'm loving this little village!  I completed the "Love Thy Brother" quest (also had to use setstage, btw.  Maybe they're not getting close enough together to trigger your scene?), but I don't have any follow-up quests.  It sounds like there should be more based on this thread, but I've let several days (and levels) go past and still nothing when I visit the town.

 

Is there some prerequisite perhaps?  Or can I advance manually to the next one?

Yikes,,, sorry guys (and girls)... For some reason I was no longer following this thread, so I had no idea about all these question/ errors being posted. (Thanks bpmcgee for quoting, so I finally got a message!).

I currently don't have Skyrim SE installed and I can't really remember all the mechanics of the mod (age does that to a person), but I will try my best to answer all the questions.

There is no time delay between the quests apart from the first one. So in theory (apparently not in practise...) the next quest should start immediately. I am just not sure why the "love thy brother" quest is causing so many issues. I have looked into it many time, but there are no reasons that I can think of that it shouldn't just progress. Perhaps there is some conflict with another mod, but I have yet to find out which mod that would be.

 

Anyway, if you didn't get a notification of the new quest starting, you could use the console command "startquest CVTalos6" to start it manually. Or you could use the console command "getstage CVTalos6" to see if the quest has sneakily started anyway. If I remember correctly, the quest is called "Blood of a God". (Sorry, it really HAS been a while since I played Skyrim).

*EDIT* It is not "Blood of a God". I can't remember what it IS called though. Anyhow, it is the last quest in the mod, involving the "gift" of Sanguine.

Sorry if y'all got the notice of an update. Alas, no update! I removed the v 1.3 and 1.3 Patch from the file list, since they are no longer needed and are causing confusion to some.

 

Just to make sure what the two files remaining are:

V 1.4 is the latest version with "beautified" men. Meaning this version will need all of the required additional mods to work properly (KS Hairdos).

V 1.1 Vanilla is the latest version, but without the hair changes, so you can use your own (replacement) hair mods. So for this version you don't need KS Hairdos.

 

Only use ONE version of the mod, not both!

As Faux already mentioned, you could use a femboy character with this mod. The reason I mentioned the mod wouldn't make much sense for female characters is that it written in a male gay perspective. So your character will be referenced as he/him.

Random Sex used to work fine with this mod. I used it all the time together. BUT, as i said before, I haven't played Skyrim in ages, so maybe recent updates to Random Sex maybe changed that. So, if others are using both mods together, what blairsf65 says here, could be the cause of no random sex starting indoors in Cocksmen or the cause of crashes! Just to be safe: turn off Random Sex when indoors in Cocksmen! You can use the 9-key to turn Random Sex off and on.

Um... despite the amazing name of the quest... I don't think there is a quest called "Ragnacock"? I wish I had thought of that name now! So I am not sure which quest you mean. Can you elaborate (in a spoiler) which quest you mean?

LOL.  My mistake, that was from Isle of Mara.

 

The quest I'm speaking of in Cocksmen is "Reconciliation: Love Thy Brother."  Nothing triggered after that.

Vachnic, one more question.  The glowing effect that Taros and his Harem have -- is it possible for me, in my game, to remove that from them?

 

I understand it wasn't intended for these npcs to be followers, but it seems like that effect has a weird affect on the lighting in dungeons.

Wait... you made Talos and the others into followers? How blasphemous! And again... why didn't I think of that...

 

Anyway, I don't have Skyrim installed now, so I can't check to see how the effect is set up. unfortunately. So I have no idea if you can turn it off or not. Sorry ?

I have installed everything you need. But the quest "make offering to talos" I can't do it. I do not know how to do. It doesn't seem to me that in any of the necessary mods there is a way to cum, on the shrine of talos ... Or maybe I did something wrong? > _ <

Hey. Love this mod. My question is: how do I go back to gay sovngarde? I wanna get fucked by Hunroor again ;( and is there anything important that's supposed to happen in the transition between Love Thy Brother and Be On Your Guard? Like something added/given to the player? No bugs happened finishing that quest even though I had to manually start it (and manually end thy brother by setting stage 70 and 90 for anyone who wants to know.) Also, Harrald, one of the brothers in love thy brothers quest- i think I know why it's bugged for many people now. He has a quest to steal back a sword. You might have to finish that first, because Balimund is the one who has it and he has dialogue saying something about you being a pickpocket. That's also why he stays in the room upstairs I think. So yeah. Tldr I wanna know how to get back to gay sovngarde and if you read above I have a theory about the thy brother quest issue.

Maybe you figured it out by yourself but your just have to activate the shrine. It starts a script that initiates a Sexlab masturbation scene.

I think the problem with the CVTalos5 quest is that not all properties in the CVTalos5 quest script are filled in. Especially the MyUtils property is not set to CVUtility. I created a patch to fix this. I tested it and now the quest is updating correctly for me (after resetting). I also filled in a few other properties. But I think those had no effect. I attached the patch if anyone is interested and will delete if you want to update yourself.

 

Edit: removed the fix, since the latest 1.5 does not have this problem. Sorry for the delay, but I was away for a while.

I'm on the quest where you have to drink Blood of Talos potion. After drinking it the spark animation plays but the quest does not get marked as finished / new quest given. I'm pretty sure I have a save file from when I was collecting the ingredients for it that I will load and try to complete again. Are there vanilla story events that have to be completed to be able to advance these quests or am I missing something else? Any help would be appreciated!

After you drink the potion it should start Sexlab scenes with everyone waiting and then if teleports you to a different location. Did nothing like this happen to you? It is a bit script heavy, so dependent on your computer it could take a while to start. But it is not dependent on collecting the ingredients after you made the potion. So the auto save after leaving the Big Cock should be good enough to reload.

Yea, no animations loaded or played after drinking the potion... I had to reinstall everything so I'll be starting fresh

So far this mod is great. The one thing I'm facing is trying to advance in the Blood of a God quest. Right now I'm supposed to "enjoy village life". I've done the dirty with the twins, several others, and activated the statue a few times. It's been a couple in-game days now but the quest doesn't seem to be advancing and I haven't seen the priest in a good bit of time. (Unless he's busy perving on someone else...) Is there anything else I'm missing to get the quest to advance? I'm using the SexTalk mod to initiate the dialogue and trigger the animations for the fun stuff, and everything else has worked fine up until this point. Do I just need to wait a few more days or did I miss something somewhere?
