Not I have not been banned, in fact I'm downloading a mod from Nexus just now the one called Dovahbear Maybe you're right, there are many macho men out there but secretly many want a sexy woman to show them who is the real boss. That guy jumps from screenshot to screenshot at the nexus and always comments like "Nice picture :)" Oh and about Gamer girls.. weird? I wish they were, the majority is just plain battlesome and insanely haughty towards generic gaming dudes. At least that's what i've mainly encountered. Met a girl once who played Counter-Strike .. holy nutsack, never again.

Zero downloads and no endorsements flies under Nexus kiddie radar since they are Pavlov's dogs, slobbering and smacking their lips with the misguided notion that good mods have snappy upload pages, ENB screenshots and shit load of meaningless endorsements. When I was uploading to Nexus I always provided an external link to a mirror because fucked-in-the-head Dark0ne decided one day to make a waiting period between the instance of upload and when the files would actually be available. It was a stupid idea so I bypassed it with a direct link to an outside server. I always put the link at the top of the mod page too, so it was the first thing people saw when they started reading. It got to the point where hardly anyone was downloading the Nexus server version. That meant less time on Dark0ne's site, less time looking at his pop-ups, etc. There is always a way to fuck Dark0ne over by using his own stupidity against him. He makes it easy sometimes.

I would assume that if Nexus implemented a way for it to recognize a mirror downloads to be able to endorse their mod it could save them the time from switching to CDN and even maybe the servers they are running now. Lets see if his budget is as big as his mouth with this CDN talk. Though it wouldn't surprise me either way. More premium accounts coming from new users.
