Are you using Unforgiving Devices 3.0? I got freezes while running in the open world with the combination of DCL and UD 3.0.

 

@ihatemykite asked me to troubleshoot, and my testing showed the freezes didn’t occur if UDNative.dll is hidden in MO2, but UD 3.0 doesn’t work in that mode.

 

I am not willing to give up DCL, so I switched back to UD 2.1.1.

 

UD 3.0 has some very nice features, but not enough to make me give up DCL.

No, I don't use any Unforgiving Devices versions. But I also get short freezes when crossing exterior cell boundaries. But it doesn't seem to happen everywhere. Maybe there are other mods interfering with DCL?

 

That's why I would like to know if the freezes vanish when DCL's "Shut down all functions" is enabled. Would make it easier to troubleshoot.

That quest chain was awesome. Annoying, punishing, inconvenient.. I loved it!

A new and shiny version of DCL! Perhaps with DDNG and UD 3.0 support?

DCL 9.0 was uploaded 7 years ago.

 

My understanding is that no one has had contact with the mod author in years. 

I don't believe anyone is working in it in her place. Although Z is certainly present, knowledgeable and helpful, and releases little patches to fix things like bodyslide sliders, so maybe I'm wrong.

 

I took the answer of 'yes, in DCL 10' to be sarcastic/cynical.

 

(sorry I missed it the first time) There is DD NG support now.

There's a mod I want to install that requires OStim Standalone. (The mod I want to install is a follower mod, by itself it shouldn't mess with DCL I'd thinik)

 

Will this cause any issues with DCL, or sexlab? I'm currently having an issue, after switching to Pandora from FNIS that my girl will only have sex if her arms are bound. I'm hoping a new game fixes it

 

(I understand offering an opinion on if it'll mess up sexlab is conjecture, this isn't the sexlab support page, but if anyone has experience doing it, I'd like to hear)

OStim and SexLab are two separate frameworks. They don't talk to each other. You can have both.

Re:sexlab vs Ostim Standalone. So when an intimate animation is required, do the 2 mods thumbwrestle to see which one runs it?

No.

It either runs via Ostim or via SexLab. SL doesn't see Ostim anims and vice versa. You need to have installed two separate sets of animations for each framework.

DCL does not use Ostim, therefore there is no conflict. As far as DCL is concerned OStim does not exist, therefore it will never pick up Ostim animations, only SL.

So I started a new game, did the LAL beginning. While going through Helgen keep, I got hit with a DCL trap. I had enough keys to get out of the restraints......

 

And DCL just stopped checking for traps. It gives me keys (but not items, even though I set the chance for that to 75% for testing.) Chloe's quest is still working...I can do solicitation, the shopping quest....I have verbose messages on, and I'm not getting any messages when I loot like I'm used to. 

 

Can anyone give me an idea what's up, and how I might fix it?

If you free Chloe it disables trap for long time while you not complete The bound skyrim quests (not all, but few). You can check in DCL MCM Active quest running - when it changes to false, traps will work.

My understanding is that DCL traps do not trigger while you are on a DCL quest. If you are on Chloe’s quest, traps won’t trigger.

Getting back to this, the only instance when a conflict might occur is if DCL starts an event while an OStim event is ongoing. As far as I'm aware, OStim does not broadcast DHLP-Suspend/Resume event, so if say, a DCL rape triggers, while the character is engaged in Ostim animation, all kinds of fuckery might happen.

But that's true for any mod that does not work with DD Framework, so there's no fix for it, other than being careful and/or reloading if shit really breaks. Save smart, save often.

That actually happened to me. someone decided to rape me while I was in a 69 w Chloe. The OStim scene just ended and the DCL scene took over, but I had to hit esc a few times to prime it.

 

 

I tend to run with a very high weight on Damsel in Distress, and it finally triggered for me.

 

I'm afraid I might have messed it up though. I vaguely remember doing this once before.

 

I'm at the point where it tells me to look around on the ground for something to cut open the strict gloves with. Now that I was thinking about it, I kinda half remember finding this thing in the corner of the cage. However, this time I've already left the cage, and I've tried repeatedly to get back in and it won't let me. I also am not finding anything outside the cage to use.

 

(and Chloe's no help. She's just standing over there, watching me squirm and casting candlelight every so often. Prolly so she can get a better view)

Collect plants to trigger random event of cut off gloves. It will said you found in plant sharp item to cut if off.

I mostly use garden near a city in farm)

Questions about DCLFTNudeCoverOff.hkx. It interrupts some of my animation. Before I turning it off in MCM once for all I wanted to set conditions to it in the OAR. But I can't find it in the OAR menu in game. It's not in Replacer Mods or Replacement Animations tab. Any help?

sorry to bug you all but if i accedently dismiss my followers such as the one from the helgan dungen is it possable to get them back i addnt even finished her quest a mod dismissed her.if so where do i find her?

Either check one of your player homes, could be any of them. Or go look for her at The Dollmakers house, can't remember the name of the town that's in.

I ran into an issue where one of the rubber hoods in deviously cursed loot causes my character's neck to disappear. Most of the gear in the mod works great, but for some reason with the rubber hood that muffles speech and blinds you, the neck disappears even though the hood itself appears to render correctly. Anyone seen anything like this or know if this is a known issue and/or if there is a fix?
