Siinwahn: Stickler for rules. I’ll wear what I want anyway.

Siinwahn: Not like she’ll give a hoot or a holler.

Siinwahn: I’m a perfect negative six, after all. Irresistible to all sorts of hags. And they have high standards for beauty!
Siinwahn snickers, a queer, maniacal laugh that comes off more like chattering teeth. He pins the new feather into his tricorne and adjusts the knot to the bandana underneath. Everything went off without a hitch; he knew it would. The power of one of the most powerful beings in existence is now all his. All that’s left is to figure out how to use it. In that pursuit, he knows time is ticking. He cannot afford any interruptions.

Siinwahn: Genicus should have that solved soon enough. Pfft, as long as he quits his butt licking.
Siinwahn trails off. He rubs his cheek slowly, in tenuous, circular motions. After a moment he gasps.

Siinwahn: Maybe I should lick her butt! Oh geez… no, no, no… It’d be-
*CLACK*
Siinwahn whips around at the sudden sound. His eyes immediately fall to the gem, wobbling slightly on the tabletop.

Siinwahn: Huh?

Siinwahn: I didn’t lick your butt…
Siinwahn bends over, watching the gem closely. It continues to sway, rocking like a boat in gentle seas, gradually slowing down. Just before it comes to a complete stop, a soft hum resonates from its core and the swaying resumes.  

Siinwahn: My my… This is unusual…
The gem begins to float from the table. As gravity loses its effect, the swaying becomes more random. Siinwahn watches in awe as the gem tips over itself this way and that, as if locked in a tumultuous storm.

Siinwahn: If you’re reacting like this, then that means-
The gem suddenly rockets upward. Siinwahn stumbles backwards, barely avoiding a strike to the chin.

Siinwahn: What the-
It tumbles through the air, still tipping over itself chaotically. Gravity suddenly takes hold once again and the gem comes crashing down. It strikes the tiled floor and rolls towards the steps. Before it can tumble down them, it comes to an abrupt stop.

Voice: Hmmm, interesting.

Voice: Is this what I think it is?
The figure bends down and picks up the gem. Siinwahn ogles her; rigid.




Voice: This is pure power. Power unencumbered by the soul that once sustained it.
Siinwahn bites his lip. He traces his eyes over the woman before him and feels a peculiar sensation. One he hasn’t felt in ages. It is so unfamiliar, he is at a loss at what to do. He gulps, still ogling the woman, when he finally remembers.
Siinwahn adjusts his crotch.

Voice: From what I know, you are the only one capable of performing this feat.
Siinwahn giggles quaintly and blushes.
Siinwahn: Aww, well… I can also adjust the size of my penis, you know. If that interests y-

Woman: It doesn’t.
Siinwahn cuts off as the woman chucks the gem back to him.

Siinwahn: Woa-woah!
He bounces the gem in his hands, desperately trying to get hold of it.
Woman: I am only interested in you teaching me this ability.
Siinwahn carefully sets the gem back atop the table, finally managing to catch it.

Siinwahn: Oh sure. I mean, it’s only my life’s work and all.

Siinwahn: Tell me, Lady Hallflame, why would someone as strong as you need power from one as lowly as I?
If Lady Hallflame was put off at the mention of her name, she did not show it. She continues strutting to the other end of the table, unimpeded.
Lady Hallflame: I’m prepared to offer you payment. I can give almost anything you desire, y-
Siinwahn spreads his arms excitedly and cries out.

Siinwahn: I’ll do it for free!

Siinwahn: For a price.
Lady Hallflame stares at him queerly.

Lady Hallflame: That’s not ho-
Siinwahn: By the time I’m done, there won’t be room for each of us here. This realm is off limits.

Siinwahn: Just my realm. You can have the cold place, though.
Lady Hallflame cocks her head, eyeing Siinwahn suspiciously. Her eyes peer into his own. Siinwahn can feel her analyzing of him. She’ll be hard pressed to figure him out; see who he really is. Siinwahn couldn’t even find himself in a mirror.

Lady Hallflame: That is agreeable. As long as no one from here attempts to sabotage my work, we will not see each other again.
Siinwahn lets out a boisterous laugh.
Siinwahn: Perfect! Then we have ourselves a deal.
Lady Hallflame smiles and points out a finger. A rippling, purple and black orb conjures at its tip.

Lady Hallflame: Excellent. Use this.
With only a flick of her finger, the orb pulses and a summoning portal erupts atop the floor next to the table.

As soon as it appeared, the portal dissipates, leaving a cowering Vigilant of Stendarr kneeling where it once was.
Siinwahn gasps and hurriedly scampers over, a grin spreading from ear to ear.

Siinwahn: Ooh my! What a delightful gift to me.
The vigilant stares into Siinwahn with empty, lifeless eyes. He makes no reaction to the odd man smiling and shaking his rear in front of him.

Siinwahn folds his hands over his waist and continues to wag his hips.
Siinwahn: What’d you do to this fellow? He looks like the last girl I had sex with.
Lady Hallflame leans against the wall and folds her arms.

Lady Hallflame: It’s a simple spell to keep him dazed. I didn’t want him to make trouble. I trust it won’t be a problem?
Siinwahn drops to his knees. The vigilant follows him with his stare.

Siinwahn: Oh no, not at all. It’s just good to know. It’s important to know exactly what you’re dealing with when doing this spell.

Siinwahn: Dazed or not, his mind and soul will fight back. They will give me everything they’ve got.

Lady Hallflame: This man is weak. Surely, he won’t be able to offer much resistance?
Siinwahn shakes his head, gravely. Moments like this are the few times he feels like he may actually have a shred of sanity. Using this ability is nothing to joke about nor take lightly. The consequences of a single mistake are…
Siinwahn: …costly. No matter how weak they may be.

Lady Hallflame: What was that?
Siinwahn stands up.
Siinwahn: It doesn’t matter how weak he is. Never be over confident with this ability, understand?

Lady Hallflame: I understand.
Siinwahn does not hear her. He analyses the man below him, tracing his fingers through the air as his anticipation slowly escalates. He takes a deep breath.
Siinwahn: Lets see what you got.
Siinwahn lurches forward, extending his fingers like talons. The man, completely dazed still, makes no reaction. As Siinwahn’s clutched hand nears the man, he hears a soft gasp escape Lady Hallflame. Yet instead of bashing into the vigilant’s body, his hand passes straight through and into him as if he were not even there.

Siinwahn: Yes… Yes. Yes!
Siinwahn wiggles his fingers, feeling the threads that construct the man’s soul. As soon as he does, man comes to life with a cry of pain.
Vigilant: Gaaaaaah!

Siinwahn: I can see it all! Open your mind to me. Don’t fight back. Don’t!
Vigilant: Gaaaaaah!
Lady Hallflame: What do you see? How are you doing this?
Siinwahn turns to face her. As his victim violently trembles, he remains calm and still.

Siinwahn: I can see it all. All of him. Every memory, every emotion, everything that makes him, him.
Siinwahn extends an open palm.

Siinwahn: But that is only part of it. Take my hand, M’Lady. Take my hand and see.
Lady Hallflame eyes Siinwahn cautiously. He snaps at her.

Siinwahn: You wanted to learn this! Take. My. Hand!
Lady Hallflame sighs and places her palm atop his.

Lady Hallflame: Don’t try anything.
Siinwahn scoffs and focuses his attention back on the vigilant.
Siinwahn: Shut up and pay attention.
Vigilant: Gaaaaaah!

As the vigilant screams, Siinwahn burrows further into his mind and soul. As he does, he makes sure to share everything he does with Lady Hallflame. An ability with no many complications cannot be taught through words alone. She needs the experience.
Siinwahn: Come on… Where is your magic…
Vigilant: Gaah! Ah! Ah!
Siinwahn’s lips coil into a smirk.

Siinwahn: Found it.
Vigilant: Grraahhh! Aaaahhhh!
A sudden pop ripples through the air as Siinwahn yanks his hand free. The vigilant’s eyes roll back into his head and his body collapses onto the floor.
Standing over him, Siinwahn pants, clutching a soul gem in his hand.

Siinwahn: Ah… Phew… And there you go.

Lady Hallflame: Is he dead?
Siinwahn sighs and drops the gem carelessly onto the floor.

Siinwahn: No. Just unconscious. Like you said, he is weak. It takes a lot to stay awake after going through that.

Siinwahn: So? Learn what you wanted?
Lady Hallflame: Yes, actually. I’m glad I came. That isn’t something I could have learned myself.
Lady Hallflame spins on her heels and begins strutting away.

Lady Hallflame: Thank you, Siinwahn.
Siinwahn: Uh, one last thing.

Siinwahn: Don’t mess up. Needless to say, that ability has consequences. Even a tiny mistake could result in you losing your mind.
Lady Hallflame stops. She drags the tip of her boots in a circular motion on the ground. She taps her toe against the tiles and a blazing, red rune materializes beneath her.

Lady Hallflame: Then I won’t mess up.
Siinwahn: It’s not that-
Siinwahn tries to spit the warning out fast enough. But before he can finish, a portal encapsulates Lady Hallflame.

The portal vanishes with a gentle shockwave, knocking the clutter from the table and shelve.

Siinwahn: … easy…
Siinwahn grunts.

Siinwahn: Well I’m certainly not cleaning up after her.


 

So as you can see, yes i am switching over to this comic style. Why? Well those of you who have been posting stuff from tumblr and such will notice sometimes the url or whatever changes thus causing all the links to not work, this has happened twice to me, once on tumblr and once on postimage. You have not known pain until you've had to manually reattach over 10,000 images between specific lines of dialogue multiple times. Having done this multiple times I've gotten sick of it. So rather than keeping this hell, i decided to upgrade to this due to my format already being based on manga i spend my time reading making it so that if the image sites url does change again, i don't have to spend 3 hrs reattaching the images between dialogue but instead just a simple mass copy, paste, and done. However i learned the hard way that adding in word bubbles is far more time consuming as it took me 4 days to do this.....i am not kidding. So i might try to cut down my entries....try.....whatever. Side note no Halloween chapter because of how long this took as well as me having school work but will try to release some Halloween Screenshots of Emily and Satsuki.

I am still new to this so if you have any constructive criticism please for the love of god say something because I'm trying to make this flow as well as possible.

Also one last thing. Points to anyone who can find the error in Emily and Satsuki's home. While i was setting up something i dropped an item and lost it only to find it later in a few shots, see if you can find it.
