I'm currently spending all my available free time on getting my sims ready for download, but I still have a few ideas left for where I want to go next. I can either spend more time getting 20 or so ready or something lower a lot sooner. With that in mind, for those interested, is there any sim I've made in the past you'd really like to see day one? Can't make any guarantees, because some of my sims are super old, but I'll try to make it happen.

Yet another scene with Angela. She's really good at comedy porn, this time playing a bit silly but very horny maid. Btw I don't know what do you think, but I'm really pleased with the guy. Unlike Brad, who is intentionally a bit toony, this one is a real daddy.

@JMTe I think that looks good. Kind of like the normal look of the game but somehow smoother and richer. 

 

So here's a little something I've been doing.

I've been overhauling and expanding on the Stojanovic family (one of my sim families). It started with just a visual tweak of customizing the mesh for the hat that Linnie wears which I posted pictures of here and I think it turned out really well. 

 

 

I also thought that I haen't had her in the old bartender career for a while now, so perhaps I should review that. That career (bartender) was kind of arbitrarily chosen to begin with, soI thought I might change it and thought it'd be neat to make her a mechanic, at least part time (and there's a mod for that). It's somewhat appropriate as I've taken pictures of her with cars every now and then and always had her have decent to high handiness skill. Plus this outfit looks cool.

 

 

Then I got to thinking about the family, and that I would want to build a house for them at some point and then someone gave me the idea of making that an auto shop. Originally the idea was be that Linnie owned it, but then I figured maybe it'd be better if it's her dad, so instead of being a petty criminal he's a mob-affiliated car mechanic (like you see in alot of games and media like GTA, so it's a well-established trope I think). I then found an auto repair shop lot on the gallery (it's called "Hogan's Auto Repairs" if anyone's curious apart from the interior of the living area I haven't changed a whole lot) and build some cramped living quarters for the family into that.

Being 22 and 25, Linnie and her sister Cara would have moved out by now I assume, so I'm thinking of making an alternate version of the household with both of them being younger so I can maybe play the family in this at some point.
 

      

 

      

 

Then I got another suggestion. Because I've established the mother, Miranda, as Selvadoradian (which I use as catch-all identity for hispanic characters), I should add some touches to the home, specifically the living space, that were appropriate for that, including an Ofrenda with pictures of dead relatives and the sugar skull display case as well as putting together a bunch of CC pictures of family members to put around the house. Still not quite done here yet, but I think it's turning out really well. 
 

      

 

    

 

Upstairs I haven't done much yet, the parents' bed is sort of clumsily "hidden" behind room dividers. I'm probably going to to put together two versions of the girls' rooms one where it is assumed they are living there and the rooms are sort of personalized to their tastes, and another where they have moved out and only a bed and a dresser and maybe some old childhood stuff remains, with the rooms being used partly for storage.

It's pretty simple really, all you need is a picture and the know-how to edit textures in Sims 4 studio. 

 

Open up sims 4 studio, under the "Object" header choose "Selective Clone"

 

 

This allows you to choose a build object and create a copy of it to make your edits on, this will not override the original (that's the "Override" option). You can narrow down by choosing to view only custom content (packages placed in "Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Mods") or by item name in the search field. 

 

 

Choosing an object then prompts you to name the .package and where to save it, I recommend some "my projects" type folder for stuff you are working on before you finish it and put it into your Mods folder. Then you can get to editing the object you cloned. Choose the textures tab and export the texture, then edit it to incorporate the picture you want, don't just replace the texture with your picture, remember that the frame and such is also part of the texture and you want to keep that. When you have edited the texture and saved it, import it, save the .package and add it to your mods folder. Remember to name it something and check the item tags and classification.

Hey @JMTe. I agree with what mrrakkonn says about your reshade preset. Looks good IMO. Regarding what he said about custom pictures, I'd like to add a bit to that. All you have to do is paste your picture on top of the area where the original image is. However, when you shrink your picture down, it can sometimes get badly distorted. There are two ways to limit that distortion. Firstly, you can try to take images that are more zoomed out, so that the part you want is already smaller, and requires less shrinking. Secondly, you can enlarge the texture you are editing (the one you exported from the game). As long as you keep the same aspect ratio the game will automatically make it fit. When using a larger texture, you won't have to shrink your image down as much, meaning less distortion. The only downside, is larger files sizes, which is fine if you only do it for a handful of important items (particularly if you use them in a story and delete it afterwards). If this is unclear, or you have any other questions, please ask. And keep up the great work.

Yeah, I thought so too. It's not really a coincidence though, because when I originally made this girl I partly based her outfit on a vague recollection I had of one of the girls who show up the start the races in one of those games. I couldn't find a picture at the time, hence the vague recollection, but now when I google it I find it pretty quickly. And yeah I only got it vaguely right and at this point I'm not really interested in retroactively changing her look that much to look closer, though I do wish I had more poses and setups for pictures like that.
