I tried my best with the lighting. Had to go off Sixam's natural lighting cause I couldn't place my own lights... Still think these shots turned out okay despite not having proper lights.

Was planning on making a short video, but every time I hit record a stupid stray dog would show up and ruin it. I don't even know how dogs made it onto an alien planet in the first place. Probably a malfunctioning mod or a bug oversight on EA's part with Pets and Get to Work both being installed.
 

I'm also very eager to see Metroid Prime 4 at E3, which in no way influenced me to make these screenshots... maybe.

Good luck! I'm using the original rigs myself and I use ik constraints to stop joints from twisting unnaturally,

I do everything manually but some prefer the nanashi rig or dagger's rig for the physics and controllers that lock body parts in place,

I'm probably taking the long way round and still smoothing out things while I learn animating but I sometimes feel that the more assisted rigs give a piston powered look and despite being fluid motions can still seem rigid in its movements,

It looks a lot more complicated too when it comes to control rigs and target controllers, graph editor and baking animations etc,

I try not to over focus on realism as a lot of my thoughts are anime driven so I find that the rig I use is a bit easier to over exaggerate some movements

Its pretty much down to each individual really

I'm using Nanashi V1, sometimes V2 and other rigs of BrokenSims, depending on what I'm making. I'm still learning, so IK constraints is a bridge too far at the moment. Now I'm using the dope sheet to remove things to make the movements more fluent. (my animation is on the previous page)

 

The rig of Dagger's is useful when making f.i. dance animations, but it lacks joints for face and fingers. I have seen someone to combine 2 rigs together. I hope he will publish this rig (with the permission of Dagger).

Is it good enough - apart from some minor clipping in? I will not bother to go to round two, making this suitable for WW mod. (way too complicated for me now) So it has to be used with the teleporter knight.
