Look for a mod that changes you from a werewolf to a werebear or something to see how they did it. I know there is at least one.

they use the same skeleton, and the same behavior/animation files as well, therefor Werewolf and Werebear meshes are completely interchangeable with each other and don't need any editing.

 

you can't just "swap a skeleton" like that, you would need to remodel and re weight paint the entire mesh.

I know you can't just swap a skelly like that. What I meant was to find a beast from a monster mod that uses the werewolf skeleton and swap it out. I know of several that use the werewolf skeleton.

Change the model and then become a werewolf, right?

 

The strangest thing happened for me one time by accident. I was placing Mihail golems and minotaurs in a dungeon and somehow got them mixed up where the golems (which use giant skelly and animations) were using the minotaur animations instead. Edit; my bad. They both use the giant skelly and animations.

If you simply want to "play as it" by walking around mauling people/critters to dead, then download one of those "Unique Player Werewolf" mods and replace the meshes with the Degonian ones or whichever you want. Done. Easy. /thread

 

If you mean it being an actual playable race just like vanilla Argonians are, for example, you are out of luck. It simply doesn't exist. And again, I have wanted it myself for quite a while and would be the first to use it if it ever happens, but there isn't much to be done about it for now.

 

There's only two people working on custom race stuff at the moment: @Bad Dog and @NightroModzz (he does the meshes and I complete the rest and implement it all). BD is busy as hell with his bird race and has a ton of other projects on the To Do list after it and Nightro is busy too and probably won't work on any project that isn't on his list except for maybe some dragon race assets as he mentioned a while back (again, that's only a maybe, it's not for sure). So the chances of an actual playable race version of the species/characters you want are extremely slim.

 

Hell, there is barely any R34 of Alduin, let alone anthrofied alduin (2 pics in grand total, believe me, I checked it), and while Deathclaws have it kinda better they are still pretty limited, so expecting a Skyrim race mod of any of the two is just going too far.

 

TL;DR: you want it badly, I get that. But you have to face the fact that it doesn't exist (yet). So don't go crazy about it because it serves no purpose at all.

 

EDIT: you also have the Xarna Deathclaw Hybrid mod for FO4 and I'm pretty sure it also works as a playable race, so if you own FO4 you can work with that too.

OK I have said about xarna mod play through already lol and I'm working on my own death claw hybrid mod for fallout 4 and I can see that when people have knowledge that people need, all talented people become busy, and anyway thank you for giving time to this no-sense search topic as judging by the length of your reply you had given a lot of time for typing this 

 

End game: I made this topic because of that video link I posted above so that's why I goty hopes but in reality I don't need any skimpy or sex mods, I just like to play as baddass villain characters as when people here at my place see it they say like "Bro these is awesome , how did you do that?That's impossible, etc etc"these types of comments makes me feel good , as my past was very painful, my family members except for my dad doesn't care about me so these crazy things help me to keep my mind stable and relaxed at a level that I can stay with my crazy dying mother and my psycho sister, and all those neighbors who just comment but no help well, as the case is I don't have girlfriend or any best friend whom I could share feelings or my daily life struggle and problems that I face but I have been backstabbed many times in my life as the place where I live is full people like this who only think for themselves, when I started modding games and found that there communities beyond just games I thought maybe one day I would become a creator like them but my first port and try got banned because of rule 7, I posted it in Nexus not here , I joined loverslab only because of the death claw cbbe thread made by jimshu  but still past is in the past and future lies ahead, what we do and what we don't doesn't matter anymore cause for what I have seen and what response I got that simple things don't exist and even if it does exist , you can't have it because you didn't made it , any way I know this was a shitty reply sorry for wasting everybody's time who replied here with their busy time

Lol no I need the opposite of it happen, change the werewolf skelly to normal argonian skelly

Oh the xarna mod in fallout 4 already fills that spot and I have my own mod in other hand in fallout 4 which is also the same so I don't need anything for fallout 4, just skyrim bro

To be honest, at this point it would be much easier and faster (note the "-er", as it wouldn't really be easy nor fast) to just modify Argonian assets to create a "playable Deathclaw" race. I mean, Nightro managed to edit the Argonian head to work for a shark race, and with some major changes to its structure on top of that (it matches roughly the human head shape except for the front with the snout and all), so I don't see how doing the same to make it look deathclaw-y wouldn't be possible.

 

Extra stuff like horns and such can be created from scratch just fine since those wouldn't need many morphs if any at all; same goes for tails or hands/feet, and textures would also have to be created from scratch in the first place anyway because they need to be fit to the Skyrim bodies (vanilla/SOS for males and UNP/CBBE for females). Obviously creating a brand new head from scratch would provide the best final result, but the only person working on brand new custom heads at the moment is Bad Dog (with the bird race) and I've already said he's probably not an option. We could bug him about it and see what his thoughts are on it for when his current projects are done, though :classic_rolleyes:.

Wow looks like you guys are taking it seriously and as for rule 3, the xarna mod is a original asset created from scratch and also the texture are also original

i'm not sure about that, the hand, horn and tail meshes look like they may have come from the deathclaw mesh, and the textures look questionable.

Ya but I experimented with them turns out it is not the fallout 4 version and made from scratch
