A lot of stuff ( pluging ) are forbidden by Nexus rules ' date=' like rape , animals etc ..

Guess that why it's not on Nexus .

Reminds me of the whole LoversPK/Friends&Lovers affair for Oblivion. Even commenting about them or mentioning of rape mods tends to get ban happy let alone posting a mod that potentially facilitates it.

While I enjoy the nexus as a repository for mod users and authors alike, their policies are a tad annoying.

Will no one think of those virtual npc's feelings?!?

I would say part of it has to do with local laws. Last I recall' date=' the owner and site "as a whole" is located in the UK. Which means they are bound by [i']Section 63 of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008[/i]. Basically anything they consider "extreme" pornography is a no-no. Both Bestiality and Rape are part of that list so should some angry parent or "morally just" citizen try to raise a fuss it could land the site and owner in a bit of hot water.

But yes, damn their feelings. :D

This is a very good point. Sex in games is a touchy subject - always has been - and there's nothing the media love doing more than jumping on the bandwagon every time the pundits make a stink over it (remember the hot coffee mod in San Andreas - not worth the stink, but boy, did it smell). This is mostly because people who don't know anything about it - always the ones setting the rules (a lot like drug policy in that respect) - still think most gamers are minors.

Anyhow, given the climate, you can't blame a site like the Nexus for not wanting to give those idiots the ammunition to shoot it down: it only takes one outraged fool, a trigger-happy regulator and a cowardly ISP to mess you up. Let's just rejoice in the fact that there is an alternative :)

And what's more hilarious is that it's useless with the mods here' date=' pridesslayer's modified NVSE, etc. Did anyone happen to actually read the post on Nexus? Curious as to what he put for a description...[/quote']

Whatever. Just generates more traffic for Sexout. Though part of me likes how small our little community is. We all "know" each other so it really cuts down on the drama.
