So I'm trying to remove the bra from the bandit fur armor(CBBE Vanilla - Body - Fur 2), I have some success in doing it, but when I save the project and preview it in BodySlide the bra is removed but part of the breasts are removed aswell.

So I'll list exactly what I have done.

1. Masked the Skirt and created a zap slider with the strength set at 100, and (Hidden) box is ticked

2. Masked both the skirt and body created a zap slider for each one with the strength set to 100, and (Hidden) box ticked

3. Increase the size of the bra so it has no effect on the Body.

Pretty much the first option was the one where I was closest to success with, so I'm wondering how I can fix the minor issue. I have tried to remove the bra through Cinema 4D but when I exported it to an OBJ file then import it in Outfit Studio the whole mesh was technically in a crystallized form. I've tried Blender but I've had so much trouble with opening nif files, so I didn't worry about it also my knowledge with that program is extremely small. I apologize if this post is too long and pointless but I have tried numerous ways with many different methods but to no avail.

That isn't caused by outfit studios that was caused by the actual author of that outfit. What they did is either used a 3d tool or the zap option in outfit studios to remove that part of the boob to prevent clipping of the breast when they bounce.

Easiest way to check is to load the nif up into nifskope and then right click the top and go block = remove branch once the top is deleted you'll be able to see what is or isn't underneath the top.

If you want the outfit to be topless then your going to have to redo the body file to add a new non broken body and remove the broken one from the nif. Once done then you'll have to remake the nifs so that you have a _0 and _1 file so sliders work.

You can also load the nif up into outfit studios and then delete the top out to check underneath it.

Also moved this thread out of tech support and moved it to the skyrim tech support area.

Oh okay then so how would I do that, I have no experience with modding, 3d modelling what so ever. So could you possibly explain in simple steps.

Edit: I've tried doing the same with the vanilla Nif file with outfit studio but I encountered the same problem.

The first option should work although you don't need to set the zap slider strength or check the hidden box. This has happened to me and I assume that the project was either saved with a glitch or I simply created the zap slider incorrectly. Try deleting the slider and make a new one.

Okay I have tried doing what you said, but I'm completely confused I'm not sure whether I should create a zap slider, coalesce slider or a regular slider.

Create a zap slider. Make sure that you have the outfit selected and not the body. Clear the mask and save. It should work.

PS. It should work assuming the body wasn't already zapped by the original mod author, although you probably would have noticed it early on.

I have done as you said but with no success. But I did notice the body has a zap slider called "Body Zap" and when I increase the strength of it, part of the breasts peak through the bra which is what gets deleted aswell as the bra when I export it, any idea how I can delete that zap slider, or is not an option?

I explained how to fix this in this thread.

I'll have a look at it and get back to you if I have any success in it, Thank you.

Edit: Your post mentions UNNP, anyway I can do it with CBBE instead also I use CBP for physics

Don't increase the strength of a zap slider. It is meant to be selected with a check box in Bodyslide when you generate the outfit.

You can delete a zap slider by selecting it for editing (click the check box), then from the Slider drop down menu select Delete Slider.

I've dont what you said but nothing is working. I've put a mask over the skirt the part I dont want removed and left the slider strength and such untouched. I've also disabled the Body Zap slider from the body and still doesnt work

You need to replace the reference body. That one is screwed! I'm betting it's from this same mod. It is junk! We don't do it that way.

So how do I replace the the reference body? I have no experience in bodyslide or outfit studio.

The link I gave you. There are many tutorials on utube to show how to use BS and Outfit Studio in addition to what I tried to explain. Take the time to learn and you will thank yourself later. You will be able to make changes to ANY outfit you like!! Here is one for FO4. The same steps apply for Skyrim.

I'll have a look for some tutorials regarding the situation, then I'll get back to you once I have had success with it.

Start a new project and select Convert: Vanilla to CBBE.

Load the armor _1.nif

You will have a new reference body called Base Shape listed in green.

From the Slider drop down menu select Conform All.

Delete the original body.

In the left pane move the slider strength to 100% CBBE.

From the File drop down menu select Export to NIF with Reference, and either overwrite the original NIF or save it with a different name.

Start a new project again and load your NIF and your good to go.

I've managed to remove the bra without it affecting the breasts, so what I did was Load the (Vanilla - CBBE Fur Body Armor 2) file then I imported a body from the CBBE folder, deleted the other body so I'm left with the CBBE body and the armor. I then put a mask over the skirt created a zap slider left strength untouched and checked the hidden box, and it worked when I opened it up in body slide. But all the sliders are missing except the one I created, anyway I can make it so I'm able to resize the body and armor in BodySlide? Also is their anyway I can replace the vanilla bandit fur armor nif file with the one I created??

Don't check the hidden box in Outfit Studio. Once you create the zap slider just leave it alone. That's why all the sliders were missing. The zap slider will create a check box in Bodyslide and that's the one you want to check.

You can replace the vanilla armor with the one you created but you need to make sure the conversion is done properly or it could crash your game.

I deleted the body the armor was attached to and replaced it with a CBBE Body which is probably the reason why all the sliders disappear. But I've done what you said before and it still didn't work but I'll try to leave the "Hidden" unchecked and see if it works this time. But could it be cause I deleted the body the armor was attached to, to cause the sliders to disappear?

Not to my knowledge. I delete bodies and I never have missing sliders.

What if I were to duplicate the body apart of the armor, then hide the bra would that work at all?

It would be simpler if you start over. Load the vanilla armor as per my instructions earlier and take it from there.
