I feel like it's stupid to ask this, but I don't know how to start an animation with a creature. How do I do this?

The Matchmaker mod. It gives you two spells, one that you cast on NPC's/creatures, and one that you cast on yourself. The description for the mod should clarify how to use it. There's also another mod made by Shadowman on Nexus, I believe it's called SexLab Quick Scene Shout. I haven't used it much for snoo snoo with creatures, but it works. Here's a link for it:

So, I just updated both MNC and Hentai to their latest version, and for some reason, Female Werewolves (summoned via Hentai spell) take about 20 seconds for the model to show up. Like, I summon them, I hear the roar, I see the floating "Hentai Werewolf (Female)" floating in empty air, and in 15-20 seconds, the model shows up.

So I tested every other creature, and they all show up fine. So I went to the Creature Framework and noticed that there's no Female Werewolf option (TBH, can't remember if there ever WAS).

What should I do to fix this? I tried Re-Registering all mods, and the problem didn't get solved.

EDIT: And gone. Had to restart my PC for something else and now it's gone. Weird, but whatever. It's good now.

MoreNastyCritters v15.2
changed the dragon's json setup to try and reduce the invisible dead dragon problem.
(the problem is being caused by CF switching meshes after the burning effect have started)

I've been playing on VR and the version of MNC I use is v12.8b.  I don't recall seeing any issues and everything appears stable.  Should I still update to v15.2?  I know some of the newer mods utilize features that are no longer compatible with VR so updating blindly isn't always a good idea for VR users.

as far as i know this version should still be fine in VR, so it's your call if you want to risk it or not (maybe make a back up first)

but going from 12 to 15 you will need to hit the "Re-register all mods" button in CF to get the werewolves working correctly.

the only problem i am aware of with vr is that the latest version of jcontainers is still broken, so as long as you don't update jcontainers i think you should be fine.

I apologize for my impudence, but is it possible to make an installer with a choice of creatures? This would be very convenient for those who, for example, have too many animations or for those who do not want all of Skyrim to run around shaking their penises. I tried something on my own to remove unnecessary creatures, but it didn’t work out very well.

This mod has been doing weird shit ever since the HCOS changes were merged in. Thought it was just the split file thing, but the HCOS merge is the main difference between the old functional version and this one. Female goats have no model for me (red <!>s absolutely everywhere), and neither does Alduin. In addition, all the animations at some point seemingly stopped being compatible with SSE? Fortunately I still have an old version from a backup, but yeah. Doubt I'll be using the updated ones going forward.

I just noticed a file in the download section that I didn't notice before.

Which Creature Framework should I be using?  Originally I DL'd the one in the requirements.....the 1.1.0 pre from 2018, but just noticed the .3 from 2022

if your using 1.1.0 you should probably stay with 1.1.0, the scripts have a nasty habit of not updating. if your about to start a new game then maybe try V3.

the 2 versions work differently and for some people one my work better than the other.

I went ahead and updated, along with a bunch of other things, then ended up spending a few hours trouble shooting a visual bug where a tiny animated dragon on a wordwall would appear and be out of place on my load screens.  Turns out it was because of meshes\interface\logo\logo.nif from this mod.  Deleting or replacing this mesh reverts the load screen to the original spinning skyrim icon or replaces it with whatever you installed.

Just thought I'd share for my fellow VR users.  I'm sure the dragon looks epic on pancake mode, but in VR he's a lil guy off in the distance and looks lost and out of place. :P

Hi,

This mod is working just fine for me, but I wanted to use a few of rougeshot's creature mods (Honored Hounds, Immersive Smilodons, and Grandiose Giants) as well.  Vortex flagged conflicts on skeletons between More Nasty Critters and all three of the ones I've tried, so I have them disabled for now.

Can these mods all run together with rougeshot's skeletons overriding the ones used by More Nasty Critters?

Thanks for any assistance you can provide!

Hello ! … and I'm a frequent user of Skyrim VR … but I took a break for a while … and when I came back I tried an animation with a horse (my eternal problems with horses, especially in VR) … but now the problem was also bigger: my horse in the animation completely disappears, only the horse's tongue and penis remain active and visible ... thus, beyond the normal swearing I still experienced an animation that is impossible under normal conditions (to see only the horse penis doing an animation correctly with my player ... sorry !! kinda long introduction but I wanted to say that due to that "horse" problem I decided to update to MNC15 but doing so I have another big problem: I can't get into Skyrim VR anymore (I can't pass that start screen as you say, with that little dragon (which for me sometimes disappears and is replaced by something else, in real size (for example a dragon sucking its own penis...) then it doesn't go any further than that screen, or if it has passed sometimes 2 superimposed screens appear (one notifies me that I have to reinstall SKSE, and above it the normal screen with the message: "press any key" ... and the superimposition of these 2 screens is equivalent to blocking the VR game ... now, in the first First of all, I would like you to explain to me more precisely the path where I can find that logo (which must be removed) ... and if you can help me with any ideas on the other problems, I would be grateful! ... were you able to start the VR game after removing that logo, or did you encounter other problems along the way?

no, they lack penis nodes, and even if they did have them the animations don't line up correctly.

fucking horse mods, that could be anything, but make sure any horse patches you have are also updated.

... until you gave me this suggestion I was tempted to reinstall SKSE and thought the problem would be solved! … but by your suggestion to use that mod “Address Library for SKSE Plugins” reading through the comments, I came to a very disappointing conclusion: IT SEEMS THAT MODDING IN SKYRIM IS ALMOST DONE” By the appearance of this Anniversary Edition (which is no longer made by Bethesda, not by GOG) via updates to version 1.6.x.x is a complete mess in Skyrim ... I read several comments on that mod, but seeing how many there are, I came to the (perhaps a little hasty) conclusion above (written in capital letters …) … at least that's what I think and I can't go further in Skyrim modding given the situation it's come to … seeing how many people are having problems (there are hundreds of comments, with people having problems with these updates and it seems that there are only solutions with a lot of work and a lot of luck ... in other words: to fuck the people at Bethesda and their conflict with the people who put out the Anniversary Edition and their desperation to milk money from us users... but for me modding in Skyrim has reached the end of the road !!!

… I thought it was too much work to give up so suddenly … I still gave it another go and installed everything (under the new conditions):

- SKSE

- SSE Engine Fixes

- Address Library for SKSE Plugins

- Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019

... even JContainersVR

... I tried to respect all the conditions imposed by the mods, but no matter what I did, I get the error in picture no. 1, and if I disable "SSE Engine Fixes" in MO2 I get past that error and then a screen appears (which seems to want to open Skyrim VR but there are also some errors, but I couldn't read them because the screen appears only for 3-4 seconds) ... however, I insisted 5-6 times and finally the VR screen opened but I got my error from the beginning (see pic no. 2) ... I'm speechless !!!!

it just looks like a skse mismatch to me so i don't know whats going on, you would probably have better luck asking someone that knows how to setup VR

i don't keep track of vr stuff so i don't know who to ask about it, the only thing i know about vr is that the newest jcon is bugged.

Well, for the dragon on a wordwall mesh, it's right there in the loose files of the mod.  Just open the mod folder then go into the folders for meshes\interface\logo.  "logo.nif" is the one you want to delete or replace.

For the dragon sucking himself off, I think that's from Horny Creatures of Skyrim.  I can't help you with that as I don't use that mod.

If you're getting the "Press any key to continue prompt" you need to update your .ini files to skip that.  I believe you do it by adding the following line to your skyrimvr.ini under the [VR] setting: bLoadVRPlayroom=0

Just a bit of warning though is that this removes physical sneaking and makes it so you can't change options on your first load of the game.  You can only select continue at startup.

Not sure what's up with your disappearing horses but make sure you have v1.12 of JC containers and not the latest v1.13 as that doesn't work with creatures.  But if you're talking about the horses in the Beastial essence mod, I don't know if there's anything you can do.  That mod just has weird reactions with More Nasty Creatures, even with the MNC patch, everything worked for me except the particular quest horse.

I'd recommend going to skyrimvr on reddit as there's a wealth of information there to help you optimize your game.  I don't otherwise have any issues running MNC in VR.

Err, no.  You need the following:

- SKSEVR  https://skse.silverlock.org/beta/sksevr_2_00_12.7z

- SSE Engine Fixes VR https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/62089

- Address Library for SKSE Plugins VR https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/58101

- Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019

- JContainersVR v1.12 (Don't get v1.13) https://www.nexusmods.com/Core/Libs/Common/Widgets/DownloadPopUp?id=57162&game_id=1704

Make sure you download the VR versions of these and NOT the SSE versions.  That might be why you're getting SKSE errors.

An important thing to keep in mind when moding VR: Most SSE mods will install correctly, except for those that have an skse .dll file.  Don't use those as they won't work unless the mod was build with CommonLibSSE-NG and specifically states that it's compatible with VR.

One of the few good things about VR is that it appears to be abandoned by Bethesda which means they aren't updating it so we don't have to worry about our games constantly breaking.
