It's ready for the OP. 

 

If ANYONE downloaded my first MiraiNoEyePatch.zip please redownload so that you can use it in Multiplayer modes and so you can install the one with the skin texture mod you use. 

 

There are 3 skin options.

 

1 - 687san Nude skin, PBS option only

2 - Pubic hair skin UHD, PBS option only

3 - Softman Realistic 1.0 skin

 

If you use another skin texture, you'll have to extract the .cat and replace the file yourself. 

 

 

Thanks for the mod, it works like a charm and she looks very cute without the eyepatch. if you have time, could you please do the same to Lu Meng (the blue hair girl from ikki tousen)?

I'd love to but I don't have the DLC so I can't test it in game, so I don't really have a way of figuring out the hex values for her unfortunately.

i foolishly tried to follow your instructions in the previous pages but instead of searching for 0830 i tried 4230 (Lu Meng's number is 42) and the best i could do was this abomination haha

So about the finishers, everyone seems to think that the girls are wearing the Rainbow Bikini during it, but I thought it was pretty clear that they're actually wearing the Summer Swimsuit instead, they have the Blue Sandals and side-tie bottoms and everything, so that's why even though the Rainbow Bikini has been edited to be invisible, they still wear something during the finisher.

Check out the included images if you don't want to take the time to go in-game yourself.

And if I remember correctly, the Summer Swimsuit is bought in the in-game store, no DLC required, so I don't know why nobody seems to have brought this up yet.

im no expert but that wouldnt make sense. you are just modding textures from your side, in your HDD. other players will see your modded stuff as the default texture (so you can run around naked but everyone will see your character as wearing clothes/swimsuit/etc), since their computers would load the texture from their HDD, not yours.

Oh hey, I remember Yagyuu.

Yeah, feel free to ignore them. They've been trying to scare people into not modding since the days of Shinovi Versus, often citing account deletions and talking about the terms of service. Not sure what their deal is. Might be a meme, since Yagyuu herself is super protective of Hibari's modesty in canon. Either that or they really just hate nude mods.

Really sound like it. As said above the nude mods will only appear for other people if they are using it. Otherwise all what they will see is a bunch of people with Bubbles DLC or School Swimsuit.

And if nude mod is nothing new in Online games. Tera for example has plenty of nude mods. Or even better Blade and Soul.

Great mod now I can have my slut shopkeeper back to normal, but still does anyone have the default rainbow bikini file?

 

Edit:Having some weird clipping issues with the mod any help?

0830 was just the address, that number doesn't matter.

 

You need to open pl42_00_h.cat inside GameData\Model\Playable\pl42_00 in your hex editor. Back up your pl42_00_h.cat and pl42_00_L.cat

 

Then you need to search for the value 30

 

Start the game and go into the shinobi select menu.

 

Go find Lu Meng and press deck edit. 

 

Go back to the hex editor and change the first 30 to 00, save the file. (This will save the file in your game folder which is why you backed it up before)

 

Go back to the game and press the model view button to see the changes.

 

If it works and the change you want happened, save the file and you're done. 

 

If it changes something you don't want or or changes nothing visible, go back to the hex editor and change that 00 back to 30 and move on to the next 30. 

 

Repeat the process until you find the eyepatch value for Lu Meng.

You have to do a different process for the L.cat

 

You'll need to open the L.cat in your editor

 

Search for the value 30, change the first 30 to 00 and then save the file. (This is why you backed up these files before)

 

Go to multiplayer and pick free match.

 

Set it up randomly and then put YES for password.

 

Pick Lu Meng as your character. 

 

Add a CPU to the battle and press the ready button to start immediately.

 

If nothing changes or the wrong thing was changed, change the 00 back to 30 and move on to the next 30, change it to 00, save the file, and repeat the process until you find the value that remove her eyepatch in MP.

My, my! Gentleman, ladies. I've found something VERY interesting indeed with the Summer Swimsuit. 

 

I'll post pics soon but it seems that messing with the visibility values can make the entire torso invisible, I'll be posting pics of these values shortly after I play with it some more. 

 

I think we may be on to something.

 

It's possible if we switch it to one of the other models and rename it we may be able to have our nude squirmy finishers, or perhaps it's possible to deal with the invisible mesh through hex editing alone, I'll see what I can find out.

If anyone is looking for the completely nude finisher, the outfit used is cmn.cat . If you hide the bandages with a hex editor, there are just holes in the mesh where the nipples and pussy would be (there are actually two models that the game uses, one when the bikini is on, and it switches when you knock the clothes off).

 

I made it work by unpacking the cmn.cat and the bubble nude mod, replacing the contents of the cmn.cat with the contents from the bubble nude mod and changing the name of the .pac file inside to cmn.pac.

 

Unfortunately This hides the bikini to begin with and makes the minigame pointless... but at least there are no annoying bandages.

 

I would be interested if someone can come up with a way to have the bikini show before you knock it off as well.

I think summer bikini may have something to do with it based on what happened when I hex edited it. You keep playing with that and I'll keep playing with this, and hopefully everyone who can hex edit will join us, the more minds on this the better!

Does anyone understand how the bubble costume mod works? i tried to do the same with another costume but i do not really understand what is happening there.

I was able to switch throught the mashes and textures but didn't get the materials/meshes from the swimsuit/bra like the bubble mod.

Are there any further conjuncations neccessary?

 

 

My current debug version has the bandages mesh with material and i looked at all meshes but did't find a complete one.

in the CatTextureEditor the file does look untouched but the hexeditor tells a different story.
