Random Sex Mod for SexLab SE

Wish I could help, the only thing I can think of is restricting it to nonessential NPCs and maybe restricting 'where' but I'm not even sure that's possible. In my game, 90% of the random sex were people masturbating, I probably had too many other restrictions. Even the ability to restrict it to nonessential couples with no masturbating would alleviate a lot of issues.

New version 20180405 released - Fixes a minor menu issue and is recompiled for Skyrim SE 1.5.39 and SKSE 2.0.7.

 

I have left the older version up for those using Skyrim 1.5.23 and SKSE 2.0.6.

Got some ideas from creationkit.com while I was recompiling the SKSE dll for SKSE 2.0.7. Going to try out some fixes tonight.

I've tried reproducing some of these issues in my own game without success. I'm wondering if there's some mod swapping going on here - due to the tendency of Skyrim to bake data into save files, changing mods during a game is highly ill-advised and has been the cause of some of the issues.

 

Please try running Random Sex on a NEW game before reporting issues.

 

In your case it seems like you have another mod that is setting the SexLabAnimatiingFaction on the player but is not removing the faction after the sex act has completed. SexLabAnimatingFaction is used by SexLab to determine if a player or NPC is part of a currently running sex act. Random Sex also checks for the presence of this faction. Also make sure the SexLabForbiddenFaction is not being set somehow.

 

player.addfac xx00E50F -1 

 

(xx is the numeric position of SexLab in your mod order) should do it if entered in the console.

Currently testing a build that excludes the following:

  • Player in conversation with another NPC.
  • NPC in conversation with the player.
  • Player at crafting station.

 

The console thing worked, tried a new game, but lost dripping when aroused, Estrue for Skyrim SE and the "even actors Height" in Sexlab, with no real change so went back to my previous game.

Amazing mod, but instead of excludes, could possible to make a choice button, like whether use bed button?

So the player can choose such as "let's do it/get someone else/do yourself..."

Especially happened when I entering a house, I got CTD twice, don't know why.

Hmm... I dunno. I like the surprise element myself. If I can find a way to add the dialog I will make it an option. I have no idea how to set up dialogs though (nothing that I cannot figure out though).

 

A lot of this is timing issues that can't really be worked around. No offence intended to Ashal, but Sexlab currently takes so long to start up a sex act that it is possible to go through several doors in the time it is starting up. I do have code to handle NPCs being unloaded while on their way to a sex act location but once the NPC list is passed to SexLab it is out of my hands.

 

Running some final tests on the exclusions (this will help with not breaking quests), should have a new version up in an hour or two.

SEX LAB aroused REDUX ...  Is an EXCELLENT MOD   Please don't do what I did and NOT read everything, I Really LOVE this mod. Thank you, Modder for your energy and time. Well done as always. Thank you. Now I attend on checking out this mod.

Update version is quite good, no more interrupt when i use craft-station or conversation.

And, i've NPC aroused set to >60, but, so much NPC masturbating, i seriously doubt they have such high aroused level. Oh, btw i also set male/female masturbate to only group sex, which I set percent to 3%.

Just some feedback, still, it's a great mod.

Just some feedback, still, it's a great mod.

Honestly I haven't been using Aroused in my game, except to briefly test the gray-out option in the menu. I'm waiting for the author to get the release version out before I add it.

Don't know about SL Adventures, but for Random Sex, SexLab Aroused is a "soft" dependency - in other words I load in the appropriate forms from that mod if it is present, otherwise it is ignored (and the minimum arousal option is greyed out in the MCM menu). So SexLab Aroused is not needed, but Random Sex will make use of it if present in the load order.

 

Ran into an interesting bug this evening. I went through the Markarth entrance while I was unknowingly being chased by another NPC, causing that NPC to be unloaded. My unload code worked perfectly, but the end result was that my PC started masturbating. Will have to fix that one.

Does this only happen on city entrances or also if you enter houses or dungeons?

First off let me just say thanks for the Mod!  Considering my less than satisfactory results with these mods and Oldrim I was seriously worried about performance and game play.  But everything so far rocks, even with everything still being Alpha - ish release wise.

I do have two things id like to bring up, one a performance issue, the other a request (please! lol)

First Performance, after playing the game for a while with the mod actually active, i start to get degrading on graphics.  Reminds me of the FO4 rainbow issue, without the rainbows.  Texture overlays just start to fail and everything starts looking grey / half drawn etc. Starts small grows fairly fast if ignored.  Good news is it doesn't freeze / crash game nor does it corrupt saves made while its happening.  I just usually save game, log out to desk top, reload and good to go for another 30 mins or so.  Doesn't happen at all if mod is not active.  Any settings i need to change or other recommendations? right now i have timing set between three to five minutes for the scenes with all options on except for group females only and solo female.

Speaking of options, my request ; p  Could you add an option for creature on creature?  I've got a few animations for that which I really enjoy, but have to manually trigger with matchmaker.  Which is sub standard because the critters in question always try to kill me before the animations take hold and well ruins immersion. I imagine you could easily set it up like creature on people so its default off for those with no interest in that? Imagine Black Reach with that sort of option lol.

Okay, and another issue, could you make another exclude or option, which excluded enemy faction, last time I entered Bthardamz, I saw seven NPC running, and when I realized what's going on .... these are alright, but after one done, the other six attack me and gameover...

Hmm... wasn't aware of Creature/Creature animations being around, so will need to look into it. It will require changes to the C++ code so will take some time.

 

Unfortunately my level of sophistication with C++ coding and tools is marginal (although I have written Java code professionally for decades), so figuring out if there's a memory leak in my code (a possible cause of the first issue) may take some work. If the resident C++ and Visual Studio experts can give me any pointers here it would be appreciated. For the record I run 64GB RAM (just because I can!), so that's almost certainly why I haven't seen any similar issues with my own testing. And it could be another mod that's the problem.

Hmm... Calm after sex option should allow any participants to wander off before becoming hostile. I'll check it out.

The one had sex is not attack, the other 6 attacked me.

Ah, that's really not an easy problem to deal with as far as coding is concerned. That's why I usually have half a dozen followers with me. Screw one, the others hang around to beat up any attacking hostiles... :smile:

Random Sex looks like it would be a really cool mod....if it would ever fire successfully.   I see some behaviors that look like something is starting , but then...nothing. when I look in the console window there is always the message about Fatal [0] - unable to find default animations.   This happens even on brand new saves (even after uninstalling and reinstalling everything related .)   Could this be related to the fact that the SLaL MCM won't open (or is empty...can't tell but I know I have animations installed)?

Well if you can't acces SLAL you can't activate any of the animations. So you probably need to install SLAL again (or get it to work properly another way) and the activate the animations.

That would be the problem...I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling SLaL and the MCM is still empty (I have the same problem with SoS...so I'm wondering if there's something messing with MCM in general).

If I recall correctly you need JContainers for MCM to work correctly, maybe you are missing that or have an outdated version.
