HDT Anus Physics Update PE/SMP

@StaticPhobia2, re textures and UVs, I agree with poblivion above. I know there are compelling reasons for creating a brand new UV layout from scratch, but that would obviously make the body incompatible with all existing textures and custom races/assets.

 

For the record, this can affect anyone with a favourite skin texture, but it is specially noticeable for us beast race-users, since good beast race textures are extremely few and far bewteen and cross-body versions are practically non-existant (find a texture you like? Now pray to the gods it's available for the body you use, because chances are it won't). The few occasions in which a new body with a brand new UV (that wasn't UNP or CBBE) was introduced, beast races were left out and incompatible 100% of the time.

 

It's your body, and obviously you have the last word, but I'm pretty sure most people would ratehr you use an existing UV layout for your new body. Since things didn't go well with CBBE, maybe go for UUNP instead? Though any of the two would do just fine.

The biggest problem with a texture like that is that you'll need to convert every single piece of clothing that reveals some skin ingame, and of course every moded clothes/armors will be incompatible without proper conversion. It will be even worse if you make a separate texture for feet, since feets/shoes usually use body textures sets stored insides the esps or esms, so you'll also need to tweak that in the CK.
I appreciate what you've done so far and I was sorry that you had to take it out the nexus, but I'm afraid that with your current approach you'll end up with a very small user base : / (just like lady body for example). Using CBBE UV maps would probably be more convenient.

All fair points. It is completely possible to use the skin of the old UNP or CBBE... I just really hate those UV maps.. I mean really, I hate them. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to pelt directly across the most deforming part of the body, the butt. Literally, anywhere else in the back would have been better. Also, I'd prefer not to have any further issues with other mod owners. Also, it'd be super tedious, making sure everything lines up. But I do like MonsterRaider's skins, and reproducing them would take a lot of time, because those are amazing quality skins.

 

Don't worry, I'll figure out a way to make it work, even if I have to do something like Schlongs of Skyrim, where you pick female bodies. And, even if it doesn't pan out to people's liking , I'm sure someone can take the CBBE Maximum, copy weights to UUNP, do little tweaks, insert some vertices to make a hole, reuse the physics settings, and call it good.

 

I'm open to ideas, otherwise enjoy CBBE Max until I get a new version out, and then give it a whirl before making a final decision.

Pros: full control and unfuckable authorship retention (by unfuckable i mean politics based bullshit, users re/mis/un/using your stuff is another matter entirely which is why my 64K/16K stuff will never see the light of day)

 

Cons: work level versus implementation.

 

For just a body, your current workflow is on track, for anything else obviously the workload increases exponentially, with the payoff that your body basically becomes the defacto high end body sans fetishists. However, community good will and extension is also a thing, and going the pre-existing way does factor pretty heavily into that also, paying it forward won't necessarily yield dividends for you, but it might for your users (and maybe you, depends on the community I guess)

 

I put up with the workflow bullshit I do at the end of the day because I know what I want out of any project I start (JK2, Skyrim, AVP2, DooM ) or compilation I curate or "enhance" (Gmod, SFM, Dragon's Dogma, ME3) I'm the person that has to like it, anyone else liking it is bonus.

This is great, it all works beautifully, thankyou. I would like to now get it working with ERF Horsepenis 2 for females and wondered if anyone had any advice for me. If anyone can point me in the right direction, let me know and i'll get on it.

Also, for further questions regarding Maximum CBBE, I'm no longer answering. I wouldn't put it past someone to make a fake account here just to try to get me in trouble on the nexus. You may thank Blind1 for the link.

It's up to him or someone else to tell you what requirements and how to install, if they so wish. Anyways, no updates for new body. I'm being lazy for this Easter, family and all :smile:

 

However, thoughts on 2x density UV symmetery (2x texture quality at same performance hit, but no longer are able to have tattoos/moles/scars on just one side of the body)?              --- A 4k image would look like, and technically be an 8k quality image. Etc.

Evil's Horse Penis 2 for Females 1.4 i got it to work with sos floppy plugin with the hdtm.xml disabled. in the mcm

Would that apply to my Leyenda textture pack I finally got working for Everybody's different? It has variants for moles tanlines and pubic textures. If so i would be a sad panda lol.

Well, I'm doing a new texture set. I'm debating if I should fold the texture over and use the full 4096x4096 pixel to display as an 8192x8191 pixel image. In the original cbbe, unp, uses the full 2048x2048 grid to stretch the full texture across it. It's possible to fold that texture, into half a texture, over on-to itself, then have that "half" take up the full grid, then use it as symmetry. It'll then look as though you are using a 4k textures (even normal/bump maps (directs the lighting shade), the specular maps (directs lighting intensity, for like sweat), and the subsurface scatter maps (for making skin more translucent with back light) even though you'd just have 2k images. It's a huge boost to quality at zero cost to performance, at the cost of...: you can't have anything asymmetrical. For example you couldn't have lopsided moles, scars, or any tattoos that spell a word going across the body. All of these reasons are reasons why I'm leaning to "not" doing it.

 

 

*edit* I should note that I prefer symmetry, and there is a way to make things lopsided, but it involves custom uvmaps for every lopsided texture add-on. And I guarantee, nobody is going to want to do that, not even me.

Not sure if someone's brought it up yet but(t) what I find lacking in most body mods today is the ability to make a booty that looks proper "fake"; as in either pumped up or having implants.

 

So a slider, or two, for the ability of putting a more "fake" shape on the butt would be something I'd like for sure.

It's not so much about being able to make HUGE booties but rather having that fake look - that would be nice. :S

Actually, symmetric/overlapping UVs as you suggest here are not an option for character meshes in Skyrim due to the use of Object Space normal maps instead of tangent space ones. Each side of the body needs to have a different color in the _msn normal map due to each "light/color" coming from a different direction.

 

So I'm afraid you can't do that. Unless you are willing to replace each and every single character related mesh with an edited version for use with tangent normals and also replace all character normals and speculars with tangent versions.

so seeing as i lover max cbbe myself and seeing the new project. i'm curious, will this be like ax cbbe ie will this be expanding upon an existing bodytype or are you making a whole new one? and also will this mean the armors will have to be converted for it? i don't know if this has been answered before so i was curious. also just a reminder since you have uploading issue on loverslab... you ould upload your mod on mega and link that though a downloadable text for for the link or redirecting to mega for the downloading link.

Finally I added your throat physics collision on an NPC's head. No citrus(I f**kin hate it), no marie rose.

 

 

 

First up is Lydia. The choker on her neck is not rigged with HDT, but her neck itself is, so it collides with my PC's penis.

Well, you're half way there. I'm guessing you aren't using correct schlong physics. Make sure you load up your hdtm.xml or whatever your schlong .xml is; set your friction to 0 and the radius to less than 2. Alternatively, you could try lowering the throat2 bone, and/or then rotate it on the x axis (forward or back). The throat was never fully tested, it literally is just a trianglish shape that follows a path toward the male legs with a high tau (constraint space tolerance). It operates on the principle that if there is absolutely zero friction, then it should work how a sailboat works when tacking, traveling the path of least resistance.

 

And since, like a noob, I forgot my staticphobia password, meaning I can't give updates on page 1, I'll give updates everytime I post for the new body.

As for the completion status, or rather have I done anything at all status: Nope, been working on finishing my Hentai Magazine mod for Fallout 4... I really hate playing and coming across that one magazine that remains unchanged :tongue: But no worries, I'll get back to it soon.

 

 

What about a physics mouth/lips?

 

This would be better done like how sims 4 does it. With rigging. I'm don't know about SMP, but I've never seen a physics engine make an elastic wrap seem realistic without some animation on the part with physics.

Would be wonderful! Fake booties (at least those injected ones) tend to go down a bit further on the backside of the thigh than natural booties, which may not be so apparant at first.

 

For someone who really would want to get that done but lack the courage it would be real nice to at least have an avatar looking that way - there's no current body for Skyrim (or other games as far as I know) which mimick that without going completely overboard in other regards.

 

Would you know if it would be possible to make extra sliders for CBBE to do it, or would it lack the base-shape/bones for such a thing? I know next to nothing about all that stuff but if it's possible then perhaps I would try to spend some time on trying to do it. :tongue:
