CTD on "New Game" after running FNIS (MO)

Hi,

 

I have the following Problem:

 

When starting a new game I get a CTD.

This happens on some of my MO Profiles.

I have a lot of Mods.

I have FNIS XXL with 13k + Animations.

 

I have profiles that run with those animations without problems (not single CTD usually).

But sometimes i seem to hit an invisible wall and it goes from 0% CTD to 100% on loading. 

 

In the FNIS FAQ there is a thread about it, but it gives no new information. (bla bla, Skyrim memory management bla bla).

I have newest SKSE, crash fixes and not a garbage PC. I did everything described in that FAQ, but it solves nothing.

 

I even tried using Wyre Bash, but that changed nothing, too. 

 

When I "uncheck" the Overwrite Folder with the FNIS Animations, the "New Game" works like a charm. But ofc with T-boning.

In short: checking or unchecking the Animations is the only thing I found that causes the CTD...

 

Now the question:

 

- Can Wyre Bash do something here at all?

- Can "Merging mods" with TES5edit help? 

Both things are new to me and I used Wyre Bash with a tutorial for the first time. But I do not want to move into a direction that is not even helpfull...

Since this is in the FNIS FAQ I just hope people have a similar problem and can point me in a direction here...

That is basically my FIX: try to adjust my mods so I have around X animations. "X" is the amount that is not crashing on start.

 

So.

1. run FNIS

2. if CTD, reduce Animation count

3. rerun FNIS

4. see 2.

5. if no CTD -> play 

Never found anything else on that matter. Load CTD also did not change when I closed background stuff, restarted or whatever. Also I always hit the same number roughly (arond 11k as well), no matter how many mods I load in addition to that.

 

This issue is also in the FNIS FAQ / Troubleshooting and even there is no fix for that.

Bump, as I just upgraded FNIS from 6.3XXL to 7.45XXL and am now getting this issue. I have around 16k animations, about 11.7k player and about 4.6k creature. Amusingly, if you uninstall a mod that disrupts the behavior files (IE: causes everyone to 'T-pose'), even if it's just a couple animations, the game WILL run, but obviously the lack of animations is not workable. Took me a while to discover this, uninstalled mods left and right, no error messages or anything. New game (With LAL/the Abandoned Prison) or loading a save will CTD as it is in the process of loading.

Did u by any chance have DD 4.1 installed in your new profile? 
When I upgraded to DD 4.1 my animation "limit" went down to below 8k from 11-12k what it was before...

I don't use them but there is some sort of issue with DD or Zaz and specific versions thereof somehow inflating the number of animations beyond what FNIS will accept. Try the DD or Zaz thread for more info?

Likely you're over the animation limit. Try deactivating mods that add animations (like the SLAL packs).

You only need read a bit more.... that question has been reported and solved TODAY.... AGAIN...

And have your same topic: CTD on New Game. The name is not exactly equal but enougth SIMILAR.

Why reactivate a topic from near a year when TODAY have a too similar topic?

And excuse me.. i see is your first post, but this happend every day...
