However, I got a massive frame drop skuldafn (60 to 30) Other thing I noted, quest catch the dragon ran fast, response of jarl when going to set the dragon free popped up right away. However, the mage drawing blood never showed up. Repeating the quest with ng disabled, jarl response took much longer, but mage showed up. This, at lest points to, some quest need to run over several frames to trigger others. This global speed up might not agree with some timings. Edited November 18, 2022 by Tlam99 1

I got CTD with Skyrim 1.5.97, but I don't remember if I had SKSE 2.0.20. Maybe that was the reason for CTD. As Im not on Skyrim 1.6.640, and things work, I will not bother to downgrade. 2 hours ago, Tlam99 said: Other thing I noted, quest catch the dragon ran fast, response of jarl when going to set the dragon free popped up right away. Needs more calls to Actor.EvaluatePackage() (to force them to actualy move) and "wait" action in scene, so all actors involved have enough time to move to correct positions.

OsmelMC Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 "Papyrus Tweak NG" is a good mood but still need more work. The author seems to be unlinked all the Skyrim functions from the frames and is linking again those functions that really required be linked to the frames. That will take time and I think eventually will be a very good tool. However the functions come linked to the frames precisely to prioritize the frame rate over the scripts and unlink those functions from the frames means a drastic drop off the frame rate if you are using heavy Mods and more if have the wrong configuration on the skyrim.ini.

Seems there are a lot of tweaks hidden internally, like tasklets, game.getplayer() and maybe others I don't know of. So it's difficult to trace the culprit it makes sometimes. My ini is made with bethini to 59 frames. If there are scripts which finish within this frame but should trigger something on next frame, this might be lost. I will test, but not make a save what I am going to use in game advancing. Just too dangerous in messing up e.g. quest. 1

Allow you select what you want to keep linked, have more points against than in favor. The tweak is a WIP so better be patient and help with enough feedback on the Mod page. Still i don't recommend the tweak for the common users but I will keep one eye on it because is very promising. Edited November 18, 2022 by OsmelMC

It doesnt matter what I do I have all pre requirements and they all work perfectly but when I click on sexlab install its like NOTHING happens please help. is it because of update? cause latest SKSE works for me just fine. if not please help me

We would all be better off if we would cite actual exe/dll version numbers (e.g. 1.5.97, 1.6.640, 2.0.5, 1.64c, etc.) because one wo/man's "latest" is almost sure to be another wo/man's "that is SO last week" version. 2

Update to 1.6.353 at the very least. Ideally go all the way to 1.6.640, but YMMV if that's a good idea. 1

Many of the main Mod not longer release for versions of Skyrim lesser than 1.6.640 so even I'm thinking on update my Skyrim. By the way I'm still on SSE. 1

By the way I'm still on SSE. 1.6.640 is very much the way to go unless you're already deep into modding and don't want to find which one of your mods relies on another that hasn't updated (everything that relies on DAR at the moment for me, the other 3 .dll mods I have that need an update are honestly pretty optional or have alternatives). 1.6.353 is at least fine if you're already deep into modding, 1.6.342 just isn't - version was only out for less than a month, and .353 fixed a fairly nasty crashing bug (that could be mitigated with an external patch, but oh well). At least .353 was the latest for ~8 months, until 1.6.629 dropped, followed by 1.6.640. 1

Sladen2019 Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 Running Sexlab 1.65 on Skyrim 1.6.640 and everythings going very smoothly, except that the Rebuild and Clean section is listing Sexlab as 1.64C still. Is there a file that I can open with Notepad++ and change the value to correct it to say 1.65 ? 1
Omnishade Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 (edited) I'm using Skyrim SE downgraded with official patch BHUNP XPMSE Sexlab v1.63 When I enable "Even actors height" I'm getting a weird body glitch on my character after a sex scene and in all scenes after that. A screenshot won't say much in this case. It looks like the body is gone, with enlarged vagina parts flying around all over the place. I didn't even enable SMP. Any idea what can cause this? Physics... Usually on SE "HDT-SMP" and "CBPC" are installed together. You should keep both updated and configured for your usual frame rate. Even if you don't see those Mods on your Mod list, they can come as part of the Body Mods. Those are the recommended: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57339 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21224 Edited November 22, 2022 by OsmelMC

I should also mention that I got the same bug with Sexlab Furniture Framework. It seems to me the physics get scrambled by the setscale feature, or something that sets the position of the player at the start of an animation, more than random changes in framerate, because it's not random at all.
Garmra Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 Hi Is there a way to get older files like 1.6.353 ...?
Nuascura Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 Several animations bundled with SexLab have been borked since the time of LE. There's the rough behind animation where, on stage 2, the male actor descends halfway into the ground. There's also a certain animation starting with "$ZAP" (maybe part of Zaz instead? not sure) that doesn't work at all, so both actors are just standing still for the duration of the animation. I've seen both since 5 years ago in LE and I'm kinda surprised they either haven't been omitted from SexLab or fixed. I'm only able to disable these animations when they play, once during each play-through. Has someone uploaded a fix here?
