However since you are playing VR (I think?) this isn't going to work for you...
literaldog Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 is there a way to get this to work using Nexus instead of MO? i dont know how to run the GenerateFNISforUsers.exe tool sorry if this is a dumb question im kinda new to modding and barely have any idea what im doing

If you need a guide, consider this one. Ignore the creature stuff if you don't want it.

Since you are not yet fully familiar with what FNIS does or how to run it correctly, you might consider Vortex. Full disclosure: no matter which of the two mod managers you use with FNIS (Vortex or MO2) you will need to install FNIS correctly AND configure your mod manager to run the correct iteration of it. This is covered in several YouTube videos, including this one and this one.

reinyn Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 (edited) Greetings everyone, last time my question went unanswered could be because i did not explain it well enough or had not narrowed it down enough. So let's try again alright. I have a certain problem with animations. Mostly with the timing of them. The timing between pcand npc is off, sometimes by as much as 10 to 20 seconds. Sometimes the npc in question (any npc) skips the entire orgasm stage, muddles on a bit at the fourth stage and then ends after the pc is already done. I have done multiple tests with this. At first i thought it had something to do with the animations itself or with the mods used to start the animations. (Because i used submid and radiant prostitution and i got the problems but it did work when accesed while using sexlab itself.) This was not the problem at all. I started to dig a bit deeper. 1) Used an animation via sexlab. (No problem at all) 2) Used an animation via submit. (Animation did not work as it should) 3) Used an animation via radiant prostitution. (Animation did not work as it should) 4) Used an animation via submit. This time without using a bed. (Animation worked as it should) 5) Used an animation via radiant prostitution. This time without a bed. (Animation worked as it should) Then i uninstalled the mods (go to bed) and (sleep tight) and tried again with a new game. Did the same thing as above and the problem still persists. I have tried quite a lot by now and i have absolutely no idea which mod could cause this problem. I have my load order of my latest save and the papyrus and sexlab debug logs included with this post. Could someone, anyone take a look at this and at least send me in the right direction please. With high regards, Reinyn loadorder.txt SexLabDebug.0.log Papyrus.0.log Edited March 11, 2022 by reinyn

Your Papyrus log has quite a few errors in it. Civil War Aftermath is attempting to do physics things on NPCs that aren't loaded, Serana Spell Selector is trying to add an undefined spell to an actor (presumably Serana), Sexlab itself is throwing an error on sslSystemConfig.CheckSystemPart(), Radiant Prostitution's config script is trying to get the rank of an undefined faction, SkyRem - Lora is spitting out all sorts of errors (although that might be because it's not doing any sanity checking to see if the mods it supports are actually installed), and Radiant Prostitution's prostitute solicitation script is trying to get the value of an undefined global. It might be a script load problem, or it might be something to do with some of those errors.
Naraku02 Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 Hello. Just to know, since I have troubles with basics mods managers, does it works with Vortex ?

Thanks for looking this over, honestly i would have never guesed that civil war aftermath could be a potential problem. As for Radiant prostitution trying to get the rank of an undefined faction. Could it potentially try to call for it's own faction? I mean, if you use it as a prostitute/gigolo then that is a faction too or do i see that wrong? I will try it out without Lora as well, just to see what it does. Maybe it helps and maybe not. The one i am most interested in though is the error that sexlab itself causes, do you or does anyone else have an idea what it could mean? As for the radiant prostitution sollicitation script that is trying to get the value of an undefined global. What exactly does that do? EDIT: I have been trying a few other things. 1) Uninstall both Lora and civil war aftermath, try a new game and try an animation on the bed. (for as far as i could see it worked as it should) 2) Increased the timers for the animation to (35 second first stage) (30 seconds second stage) (35 seconds third stage) (40 seconds fourth stage) and (15 seconds fifth stage) I had the same problem as before. 3) Decreased the timers back to normal. It worked as it should. 4) Increased the timers with 5 seconds each except for the 5th stage. It worked mostly as it should and anything off with the timing was barely noticable. 6) Increased the timers with 5 seconds again. Got caught by a guard that was screwing another prostitute in the same room. Got a fine of 100 told him to screw himself and could not go further with the test because all the guards turned hostile. Included with this are as usual the debug logs. And my new load order. Once again thank you. With high regards, Reinyn SexLabDebug.0.log Papyrus.0.log loadorder.txt Edited March 12, 2022 by reinyn

What exactly does that do? I can't comment on what Radiant Prostitution does with the faction and global, as I've never used it. Factions could be used for anything from controlling who they're friendly with (e.g. bandit faction vs guard factions) to storing additional data (e.g. Sexlab Aroused tracking naked status as a faction rank so mods can use it in CK conditions), and globals are used to store basically anything you could do with a single number. However, now that I look at it, I might be mistaken - it could also be that the actor (general term for both the player and NPCs) it's trying to do things on is undefined. 23 minutes ago, reinyn said: I will try it out without Lora as well, just to see what it does. Maybe it helps and maybe not. It's unlikely to be the source of the problem, just something that bugged me because it tried adding a bunch of items from the same mod to leveled lists without bothering to check if the mod was installed first. Probably harmless, just a personal annoyance; there were other mods that I am familiar with that use a single record as a check to see if the mod is loaded, which produces the same error (although much fewer times and usually bracketed with logging saying that they're checking for supported mods). 27 minutes ago, reinyn said: The one i am most interested in though is the error that sexlab itself causes, do you or does anyone else have an idea what it could mean? Just before the errors, there's a line saying "Cannot open store for class NiOverride", missing file?", and in other case a line saying that it couldn't find GetScriptVersion from NiOverride. I'm not sure how critical those are, since NiOverride (part of RaceMenu) isn't a hard requirement for Sexlab.

Could some of those mods have a problem with that because they are ported? Reason i ask this is because for legendary edition there was a NiOverride standalone file without the need for racemenu and when i used LE several years ago i did use that file. But that is strange indeed.
ItzCinnamon Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 I'm having a sound issue using SE version. The mod seems to only be playing moans and orgasm sfx, never sex sfx. I don't have any sex sound replacers - I installed one to try and fix the issue, but it didn't work so I uninstalled it. It might be that the sfx is just really quiet, but I can't tell if it's just my mind playing tricks on me

I'm just not sure how important it is to Sexlab, since I've never played without Racemenu.

EDIT: I have taken a look at it and made another test save. And here are my findings. 1) I installed racemenu for this one (it will probably take some time for me to get used to it but it looks really neat.) 2) I did change my load order quite a bit, deinstalled a few mods and installed a few others. (Honestly i did want a change of pace for awhile now.) 3) Played 4 animations. (First 2 on the bed and the last 2 while not using the bed.) 4) The timing for the first 2 was still off but i think it was less off. 5) The last 2 were perfect. There was one other thing that i noticed in sexlab itself, but i don't know if it would have been harmful or not. As is seen on the image the SKSE64.dll is now ok, i must admit before this testsave it always was a questionmark. (Like seen by the creature pack) I hereby include my load order, the debug logs and an image to show what was exactly wrong with the sexlab plugin. Thanks again for helping me out. loadorder.txt SexLabDebug.0.log Papyrus.0.log Edited March 12, 2022 by reinyn
OmegaBlaster Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 Is it possible to get the sex Journal stats outside of MCM? Calling Stats functions from a dialogue fragment returns nothing. For example, calling Stats.PrintSkills in a dialogue fragment just returns an empty string.

The only point worth mentioning is that SexLab throws up the "outdated papyrus version" error unless I install my own version of papyrus lower in the load order, even if SOS is above SL. I thought SL was meant to come with papyrus? unless I'm delusional.

But if you had another mod that included an old version (Campfire and Simply Knock are notorious for this) overwriting Sexlab's copy, then it would have that problem.

Though, still doesn't fix the sound issue, just optimised my load order a bit. Seriously, never had this happen and I'm weirded out. I have no idea what even would cause this. a filename issue might, but that definitely isn't it 1

Corysia Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 Quote Because people don't seem to understand: Sexlab 1.63 is for Skyrim SE 1.5.97 / SKSE64 2.0.17 - 2.0.20. Sexlab 1.64b was for Skyrim SE 1.6.342 / SKSE64 2.1.4. Sexlab 1.64c is for Skyrim SE 1.6.353 / SKSE64 2.1.5. Is there a version that still works with Skyrim VR? SKSE's website says that Skyrim VR is 1.4.15. I tried to use Sexlab 1.63, but it complains that my version of Skyrim is too old.
