How can you control the interactions between sims in respect to the gender, for example make WP solicit only gay or only hetero in call and prostitution interactions?

Just to be clear, are you saying you cannot apply the trait to the lot, or that the trait is applied, but your prostitute still doesn't get any phone calls?

The Trait is applied but no calls at all unfortunately.

What kind of lot is it?

Is your prostitute self-employed or a debt slave?

Are you sure she has her phone currently listed with the agency?

 

I'm not sure this will lead anywhere, just throwing ideas against the wall. The trait works fine for me right now, in both residential lots and bars and nightclubs. Not sure I'm trying the trait anywhere else.

Any actually, I tried it with residential lots, Nightclubs, bars, Lounges, Museums, etc
She ist self-employed, I didnt sit through her full dept when trying that tho
Yes double checked, unregistered and re-registered, nothing

Honestly this brain storming is kinda helping me get my frustration level a bit reduced haha so still a win in my eyes. I'm currently thinking there might be something just plain blocking it without producing LEs but I'm not really having enough knowledge to pinpoint it and say 'yeah its a tray' or 'woo its (insert sims specific thing)' bc It surely can't be CC if I have none other than WW, WP and BMD. And it must be something kinda basic since a new save with a new sim is producing the same results...

Dumb question: did you try just waiting a while to see what happens? Maybe keep your prostitute active with various things while she's waiting for the phone to ring, instead of just standing around? Sometimes my hookers don't get calls immediately, but if they stick around on the lot, maybe grab a snack and the bar, maybe watch some TV, etc., the calls always come eventually. Then they seem to come in bunches. I'm sure that's just emergent patterns in the random noise, but you never know.

Yes, tried that, sat through two whole pregnancy with her. Funny enough as soon as she had a client list, she couldn't save herself from calls from those established clients but new ones? nuh-uh

And she's consistently staying on the lot through all this? Not visiting anywhere else? You're not exiting to the neighborhood or checking in on other households?

Nope. didn't go to any work, didn't visit any places, just her, her babies and a whole lot of gardening and gaming on her part.

NGL I'm stumped. Maybe just bad luck and you need to reinstall or delete cache files or something like that. You sure there's no other tiny script you got hiding somewhere that might interfere? I found my prostitution slightly messed up by some of Kuttoe's mods a while back. Easy to forget about mods like that, which mostly just work in the background.

The drama node system (the system which manages phone calls) can be a bit buggy. Maxis designed this system to fire a certain kind of drama node infrequently. Like one time a day.

So anyways, I make it fire the drama node like a billion times (over exaggeration) while your prostitute is on the lot so you get frequent calls. This is why I generally don't recommend living on a lot with the lot trait, and with enough clients, you'll get lots of calls anyways. It's really more of a cheat trait to help players quickly grow their prostitutes client list during the early game. For brothel gameplay, I recommend making strippers into prostitutes, or to use the new small business and custom venue system i'm about to release. Then, I need to reconsider the purpose of the call center lot trait. I'm most likely going to ban it from residentials, but I want to transform the lot trait itself into something else but I'm not sure what yet. It'll still be around, but I'd like to make it more interesting for players with some degree of automation. 

Anywho, for now lets figure out what's going on. So if it's not working on a new save with a brand new random sim (not from the gallery, just rng), then it's likely not the above bug. Are there any child sims on the lot? If you make the test sims a young adult or older, does it work then? Is there a ongoing holiday mayhaps?

It's unidirectional right now, but a setting will be added to make sims respect their orientations in advanced. The reason it's not like this already is to allow players to do the whole straight/gay for pay thing.

Sorry for the late answer life happened, but good to hear I'm not the only one stumped lowkey lost my mind a bit coming up with ideas how to fix it....
Pretty sure, my Folder fr looks like this:
Animations (only a few animations I trust)
BMD
WP
WW

and xml injector bc I put it back but I never had Kuttoe's mods
I also delete the cache basicly every time I do something

I always had it on a Nightclub Lot when it still worked fine but suddenly it stopped working at all. Thats why I tested around. I only tested with young adults without kids, completely random without gallary sims, no holidays ongoing, aged her up too thinking it might fix it, I tested with one of them so often and with so many combinations that she became my main safe  In the end nothing fixed it unfortunately...

Wondering if there is any way to apply virginity percentage to Just teens or young adults ? Would just be alot more realistic if an Elder wasn't losing vigginity haha

@NisaKSorry I don't have much detailed info yet, but I had a sim visit an escort sim who should have been open for business, and the option to solicit her was grayed out with "Sims is not offering that package" or something similar. I wondered if I might be missing some important detail from your recent change in how specific services are offered.

It sounds like an interaction from a past update is hanging around past it's welcome for some reason. If you can grab a screenshot of the exact text, it'll help me track down what might be happening here. I just searched my string tables for that text, but I couldn't find it. I'm sure it's just because the search functionality was programmed in like 1970 and no one has bothered to modernize it since. Come on openai, make searches great again. Anyways, if you catch a little snippet of the grayed out interaction or the exact text. It will help me track down where this might be coming from!!! good catch!

Oh no, that's not an extremely useful error. Usually an error like this happens as a result of another mod breaking. If you have a MCC or BE LE, it might provide better context as to what mod is causing trouble!

I was off on the text a bit. Here is what it looks like. I went back and reloaded the escort sim and confirmed that all of her accept and offer packages were enabled, and her phone wasn't unregistered.

You can just upload the raw LE here, you'll need to open the .html. I think MCC's is in MCC's folder, I'm not sure where BE are located. You will also probably find a corresponding Last Exception in your The Sims 4 folder which you can upload as well

I keep getting an LE involving Basemental Drugs and Basemental Gangs. I'm not sure what it means, but it seems like something is conflicting that shouldn't be. Those two mods and yours are all up to date; reinstalling older versions doesn't fix it, and I can't identify any other mods that would be producing that reaction. I originally thought it was an issue with the recent event, but now that it's gone, it's still happening. Not even new saves are exempt. Hopefully, you'll be able to make better sense than I of the LE so I can finally play.

I do, but I've had that mod installed since the beginning without issues, and it hasn't been updated in 3 years. I don't know why it would be causing problems now. Regardless, I did just remove it to see if the game would work, and it does.

The late August Sims update made AEP a gamebreaker. My guess is you recently caught up on updating your Sims game? At any rate, Ksuihuh is apparently active again. They've updated Sugar Life and RAN, so hopefully a new AEP update is in the works.
