myuhinny Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Unzip the file and look at what's inside it as well as look at how the folder structure is set up as.
littlefloof Posted November 28, 2017 Author Posted November 28, 2017 I have -- I tried installing it with MO but it says there are files missing; I'm uncertain of what files it says are missing, exactly.

gregathit Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 I can't help much with MO. I don't use it. I install everything manually.......after I rip the mod apart, pull out what I want from it and include that in my own personal master mod. I rarely install anything off the shelf. Weird like that. Sorry. If you can't get help here, post in the MO thread I referenced earlier, as there are so folks who watch that thread and they are our MO resident experts. Best of luck!
littlefloof Posted November 28, 2017 Author Posted November 28, 2017 I'm not getting that message now; it seems to be installed(?) But when I boot up skyrim it tells me files are missing. I have Kyne's Blessing6 Installed via MO. (IE: Mod Organizer > Mods > KyneBlessing06: https://gyazo.com/55c2e1bb4e98e29f78d378e083d05643 Did I place it wrong?https://gyazo.com/c058b22ca131802e213dbbe8b3c94d57 Also getting that.
Nazzzgul666 Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 What do you mean by "did i place it wrong?" Just installing a simple mod you don't need to place anything manually. You click on the mod, you click on install, you check it in MO (left side). That's it. Insome few cases it happens to me that MO says "no .esp found" or something when checking the mod, i think that happens when my CPU is quite busy otherwise and it glitches, just disable/enable the mod again and you should be fine. Also make sure the .esp is enabled on the right side. It's a guess when you don't show the message, but if MO tells you that (master?) files are missing it means that you're lacking a requirement. Make sure you have all of them. Files in the overwrite folder aren't a problem by default, but it can be a problem or at least get messy. That folder is the place MO puts everything it doesn't know how to handle it, in general everything that is created by mods. Most common is FNIS output, no problem so far, but also if you export settings from an MCM ingame or something and if you just keep everything there stuff gets messy. Still no problem, but possibly hard to seperate if you want to clean up some time later. What most likely will cause problems is if you clean the DLCs with TES5edit, those cleaned DLCs will be there as well and the overwrite folder has highest priority, so those cleaned DLCs overwrite all mods instead of the other way around. The last possibility is if the mod doesn't include meshes/textures/.esp/.esm or anything. Bodyslide presets for example have none of that, here it might actually be necessary to make some changes in the mod folder. Most often it's still just fine to ignore the warning from MO, install it anyways and then right click ->ignore missing data. In few cases you need to setup the folder structure manually, for example a body preset for bodyslide with femalebody_0.nif files should be in <mod name>/CalienteTools/Bodyslide. If it's necessary depends on if the author uploaded his mod with the proper folders or just the files. You also could just throw the files into the bodyslide installation, same effect, you just have to remember that if you want to uninstall it again.
jennievm Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 No the override folder is suppose to be clean. Since you new I hope you got SKSE that is basically the only thing that will put stuff in there which can just leave as is. Its usually settings and configs from other mods that works with skse. If it says missing files it means you don't have the pre-requisites installed for kyne's blessing you need to make sure you have devious devices and sexlab aroused installed. It uses it as masterfiles that is probably what is missing. Since it only states devious devices I assume you will need to install all three of them. DD assets, Expansion and integration. Install those first then kynes blessing. Then run loot so it can make sure they are in the right order. Usually if you have your master before the file that requieres them in your plugin list it should be fine. Just a small note since you going to have to install DD you need to make sure you install it for the right body. Otherwise you going to have serious clipping issues. I suggest to get bodyslide and outfit studio so you can build the armor for your body perfectly. Its pretty easy.

Nevertheless, I prefer a manual installation since 2011. Since 2011, I have never had to reinstall my Skyrim since 2011. It is still first time installation. And my experience with MO and NMM from past years shows - it does not pay, many problems and almost zero benefits. No to each their own as they say. I started my skyrim modding days with MO so I know that thing pretty well. I don't even use loot anymore I know exactly where everything goes. For me tho I like my skyrim directory clean as i constantly get bored and switch it up. So that makes MO perfect for me. Guess we all do with what we are comfortable with :)

And bodyslide is not a suggestion to use DD, it's a hard requirement. I know you can prevent bodyslide from putting stuff into the overwrite folder, but for somebody who doesn't know much about both, it's worth mentioning it.

Please I would appreciate it if you read the full post I made before just posting to come and rectify me. Few things, First if you continued reading you would have noticed I clearly said mods and settings other than skse in the override folder. Second overwhelming a new person with information on steps he is not at yet is not helpful either. So please stick to helping with the problem at hand instead of annoying people with this "know it all" attitude. If there is one thing I can't stand its a "know it all" that does not read before responding.
imyours18 Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 can someone help? I am having this problem right now.. Oldrim mods don't usually work with SE without some kind of conversion. That said, it is converted. Did you download the right one? https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2625-m2m-gay-animations/
