sims 4 tounge rigged

For some reason, when I opened my game today, the tongue was all glitched out. I removed everything except the tongue files and redownloaded the tongue completely, and deleted the thumbnail cache file, and it's still messed up. Does anyone know the problem? If I figure it out, I'll let you know in case anyone else has this problem. The tongue is no longer inside the mouth. It's just floating on the sim, and when the sim moves, the tongue stays in it's spot and doesn't move with them.

you have conflict sim rig mod, or you dont have one, make sure wickedwhims installed correctly and running fine

looks like, you have a conflict mod for head default replacement

it should not like that.

 

but i have tried create new sims (without any cc), and sometimes it shows normal, but most have bad texture (like in your picture)

i havent figure it out where the problem is.

 

i havent tested it in new update (1.51) btw, i will check it after back from work and update the game.

to use this mod 

for modder/animator, you need to copy testcustomebonefortounge.package to sims4 mods folder and sim4studio mods folder, so sim4studio can recognize the bone.

 

for user, only need to copy testcustomebonefortounge.package to sims4 mods folder only

the other file are only for test purpose (only to test how it look like in game)

 

if you want to test in game, copy other two file to sims4 mods folder

equip tounge accesories (you can find it in head accesories) and select ww testtounge animation in teasing category

 

for others who want to make tounge mesh, dont forget to add the three custom tounge bone to vertex group and weight

to use this custom tongue bone

- for modder/animator you need to copy file "customebonefortounge.package" to sims4 mods folder and sim4studio mods folder, so sim4studio can recognize the bone.

 

- for user, only need to copy file "customebonefortounge.package"  to sims4 mods folder only

 

the for the tongue it self, copy file "customtonguemesh1.package or customtonguemesh2.package" (or both) to sims4 mods folder

customtonguemesh1 is a wider version compared to customtongue2

 

note : if you have an old version, please delete the file testcustomebonefortounge.package, testtonguemesh.package and WW_Nandong_animations.package

 

3rd version

 a great help from azmodan22 to fix rotation in tongue bone and include it in his custom rig, it is awesome ..

note: to see the tongue, you need wickedwhims mod version 115j or newer and animation or posepack that use this tongue

there are 6 file in there

 

customtonguemesh1/2.package are tongue mesh as accessories 

dont forget to equip it (can be found in head accessory), so it will be shown when your sims do ww animation (animation that use tongue)

 

NANDONG_yfHeadDefault.package and NANDONG_ymHeadDefault.package, this are head replacement + tongue for your sims (it will affect to all sims)

note : if you wanted head replacement without ea eyelash version, you can download it here : https://goo.gl/gDPbqX

 

NANDONG_OverideSliderHeadJawMouthForTongueCompability.package, this are override slider to adjust tongue into correct position when you change head, jaw and mouth position, shape or size

 

WW_Nandong_animations.package, this are a simple animation for tongue, so you can see it in game

you can see it using andrew posepack or using ww animation in teasing category

 

 

there are two ways to have your sims a tongue.

1: applied it as an accessories

*) you have to equip the tongue in every outfit category in CAS

 

to equip the tongue as accessories, then you need this file in your mods folder

1. customtonguemesh1/2.package

2. NANDONG_OverideSliderHeadJawMouthForTongueCompability.package

* you dont need to copy NANDONG_yfHeadDefault.package and NANDONG_ymHeadDefault.package, because it will override tongue as accessories

 

2: use head default replacement

*) just install the file then every sims in your sims world will have tongue..

 

there are two kind of head default replacement i made, with EA eyelash and without EA eyelash

 

2a. tongue+EA eyelash

if you want tongue but still wanted have EA eyelash, then you need this file in your sims4 mods folder :

1. NANDONG_yfHeadDefault.package and NANDONG_ymHeadDefault.package,

2. NANDONG_OverideSliderHeadJawMouthForTongueCompability.package

* you dont need customtonguemesh1/2.package in your mode folder, because the tongue mesh are already in head replacement

 

2b. tongue+without EA eyelash

if you want tongue and didnt wanted to have EA eyelash, then you need this file in your sims4 mods folder :

1. NANDONG_yfHead Default Replacement without EA Eyelash.package and NANDONG_ymHead Default Replacement without EA Eyelash.package,

2. NANDONG_OverideSliderHeadJawMouthForTongueCompability.package

* you dont need customtonguemesh1/2.package in your mode folder, because the tongue mesh are already in head replacement

make sure you have already selected tongue mesh and the rig, then press ctrl+p and select armature deform

Just wanted to let y'all know that I figured out the problem. Some animation I downloaded conflicted with WW and thus conflicted with the tongue rig. Removed it and it works now.

It was by Black Cinema. Though it literally said it'll break WW in the file name, so that's my fault for not checking CC before putting it in my mods folder. Always check first, kids!

Not sure what happened the tongue was working fine but now I can't even see the tongue. I made sure I don't have any of the conflict mods that are currently posted. I was downloading some cc for some sims last night so maybe thats the issue? Any help would be terrific.

Take out the cc you downloaded last night and delete the localthumbcache.package folder in your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 (always delete this when adding or deleting mods/cc from your game folder) Then see if it was that.

Tip= Make a folder in your Mods folder & name it- "Test" or "New to Test"

        put your new mods/cc in that folder and run the game. If you don't have any problems, then move them into the appropriate folders.

Thanks B10HAZARD you're a life saver I don't want to put this creator down in any shape or form but as a warning to other people there is a porn sim called Lexi Belle on this website and in her mods folder there is a replacement mod that messed up the tongue mod for me. Anyways thanks a bunch guys for the fast reply and help!
