sims 4 tounge rigged

Anyone get these problems. The first two POV shots are of custom tongue and not custom head. It's rather jarring with two tongues in the mouth, but the custom head for the other 4 screenshots shows that a certain mouth shape will cause some awkward glitch thingy. Anyone got any ideas?

Hi Xatos,

 

1st and 2nd pict is maxis "tongue", i had already to remove it, but the head comes glitchy. i havent tried back since.

 

the other pict, do you use custom slider for mouth, jaw or head slider ?

I use NANDONG_OverideSliderHeadJawMouthForTongueCompability.package that was in your file? That's the only thing I used.

I'm pretty sure I downloaded the fixed version for 1st person mode, but I never managed to make it work. Anyone else have the same problem? Where can I download the correct version?

FYI NANDONG_yfHeadDefault.package and NANDONG_ymHeadDefault.package cause the new mermaid occult's faces to turn invisible. This is actually happening with a lot of default replacements, including some custom skins as well.

I haven't played yet but does removing those defaul head files work or is the head still invisible? That's the only solution I can think of until the mod gets updated

The tongue mod works just find in my game.

Like I said, haven't played yet but did you try it with mermaids or other sims because I could think that it just won't work for mermaids

Not sure island living isnt released until midnight for me. But I could see some sort of conflict arising.

Not sure what you mean, this is the procedure:

 

1. Open one of the NANDONG_yxHead_.. packages in S4Studio.
2. Select Warehouse tab.
3. Click on CAS Part.
4. Scroll down to Tags and click Edit Items...
5. Click Add.
6. In Category select Occult.
7. In TagValueNumber type the value 2208.
8. Click Save.
9. Click Save again in the Warehouse tab.

 

Repeat for the other head package.

 

I have been playing a Mermaid for about an hour now and no problems so far.

Isn't your tongue packaged into WW now? (Or rather Nandongs tongue.)

So the rest of us will probably have to wait for Turbo to patch it right?

 

(Just to clarify I am asking if they are in WW cause I don't actually know and I have them deleted already from my mods on the assumption it was.)

Hmm. I  didn't even think of this. I thought Mermaid occult wouldn't show in s4s till it was updated. I just used the "no ea eyelashes" mod cause it switches them back to ea head

I haven't done a lot of testing yet but it works in CAS.

can confirm it works in game too, thanks for the quick hotfix

i down loaded sims 4 studio never used it before how do you get to all this ?

Open S4S. Click "My Projects." From this point, follow Denton47's instructions.
