If you are patron you will get early access to mod. If not you must wait for public relase.

If content is time-gated via separate patreon releases, we don't really mind. And even if it were entirely paywalled, that doesn't mean you just get to distribute it here.

They release one of the best armors mods out there. Not only they port the best armors from bdo they also retouch the textures and add the metallic look to the meshes instead of the plastic look that many plate armors mods have. They also added almost perfect hdt-pe effect to the clothes which is just amazing. And finally they one of few that port MALE ARMORS which almost none do these days. And after all this hard work they release everything for free to us leechers. Those who support them or just want the mods immediately can get their mods like 1 month earlier than those of us who can't which is nothing. I actually hope they can get more and more people to support them because as long as they're getting something from their hard work then they would never stop... just look at how many high quality armors they ported in this short time they made their patreon account so they can give back to the people who support them? In no time we will have tons of high quality armors to choose from. So pirating their work or sharing it is just stupid risk because if they decided to stop because of it then we all lose.

I've waited months, even years, for some mods to come out or be fixed, so a couple weeks is nothing. Actually I thought I had this pack already, but it's the 2.0 version of pack 1 that I have, lol.

Not some ripped off content or other studios game assets, downloadable for money.You can call it whatever you like but its a "paywall " by the fact and its a violation also. Shame its a modding capitalism even in games nowadays.

Team Tal port armors mods and add hdt support to it, and while you think that the porting process and adding HDT to armors is not worthy (when 90% of skyrim armor mod are ports) there others who appreciate their work and support them for it. I think Patreon - is the end, for the future of free mods. No one will be interested to convert stuff if you can simply milk people in the end. Heck even racemenu face presets are sold ! This politics resembles me games from the 90's, to our modern half ripped content, DLC milking garbage games of today.No wonder Bethesda tries to chew this pie again,they have eyes on it all haha.

If there weren't an option, you'd see those mods years later. There is nothing wrong with giving people an opportunity to press the 'donate' button, and there's also nothing wrong with actually benefiting your donators. A lot of good and creative people have been and will always be donated for their hard, or easy, work. Youtubers, streamers, cosplayers. People are getting early access for a lot of things, and people are happy helping creators they like, but only modding scene keeps complaining about it. Get over it and make a 'donate' button yourself. Wanna see a real paywall? Check Demonica's stuff. That's paywall. edit: ah, and speaking about rulesthe copyrights laws of most of the games forbids any use of it's assets in any form in any other programm but the game itselfso if you wanna go and complain 'ah you can't sell these' you better say 'ah you can't port these' in the first place

This BDO armor ports is only an "available game mesh convert to Skyrim mods" and use available free old body mods. So, payment for a single converted armor? Nope.

First of all, tho Demonica isn't a real port, it's still a retopology of DAZ assets. It's not made from 'nothing', okay? I didn't see anything there that wasn't based on somebody else's work. And by 'based' I don't mean 'inspired'. It's resculpted and retextured, but it's not original at all. Plus, you can't get those mods if you wait a little, you gotta pay for it to get the files anyways. Second, BDO 'ports' are also partially resculpted and heavy retextured, so it's not a lazy low-quality port you can make yourself for a few hours. They put days of work here. And, again, you can just wait until they release a pack for free. 30 days and it's yours dude, wtf? So, donation for a set of ported armor? And to make things clear: I don't underestimate anyone's hard mod work, or saying that making mods based on someone else's assets is good or not. I'm just clarifying that most of the mods are based on something, and that lots and lots of days of someone's life are put on it. But some people are selling it, and some are granting early access. Well, speaking of origin of assets, damaged version is both their own vision and mesh/textures tweak. So it's up to them to decide to release it to public or not, and for what cost. As I said above, every port that any modder ever did without asking it's respective authors is illegal. But we use it anyways. Plus, they released Death Lady as promised. I doubt they won't give us the other mods, especially now, when the mods are not only finished, but also bought. And about tweaking somebody's char... I wonder, when will people realize that those authors on patreon are selling you not the assets, but their time. You still get pissed that you're not granted years of somebody's life for free, but, to be honest, none of those authors owe anybody anything. They do that cos they like to mod and, probably, to share. Which is great.

People who want to support them for their work is up to them. I don't see it affecting you in anyway at all. In retrospect in my view, i see it benefiting you because your still getting the mods from both parties, So why complain at all.

And i bet all of you people who seem to dislike team tal so much for getting something in return of their hard work will be ones of the first to download it.
