*Official Players Guide For CLS I, II, & III*

HI there folks. Rawrbiscuits here letting you know I've started work on two Official Guide books for CLS I, II, & III. Currently under construction and roughly 75% complete with CLS II.

 

There will be two different guides released, one will be a web-based or even an in-game item that is a sort of diary of your characters thoughts and ideas about the quest. These are meant to give the player hints from your characters point of view so it doesn't spoil the game.

 

The guide currently under construction is the step by step guide of the game complete with an NPC list with back stories, a list of items and uses, and a Lore guide; offering locations to any and all Lore the game has or will have in the future. That's all for now though I'm sure there will be more in development.

 

Unfortunately this guide is still in it's rough draft stage but you can help!

 

What I need to complete the Guide is the following:

 

A dedicated Grammar and spelling freak. You know who you are!

(and we love you anyway)

 

Someone who is familiar with taking screenshots and fair adept at it.

(currently position is open to be filled!)

Someone brand new to Claudia's to test out the guide.

(I have a few already offering to do this)

Yes this thing would be good as I can't get the quest started. I tried to follow the pictures but there doesn't seem to be a quest start option. Is this even the right Claudia? (I didn't install the body)

 

 

 

 

Only thing I could think is I installed the Maid quest,do I have to do that first?

Hey there, so the manual recommends using an Imperial, as that's what the animations were made for. But I have a smallish character that I would like to use for this mod. Usually, the Lovers animations are a bit off with smaller characters, but that's easily fixed by adjusting them. Does this mod allow for adjustment of animation during, like Lovers?

There's a sequence early on that allows you to select the size of the character for the cutscenes he or she is in. You can select the size to be as close as possible to make the scenes work. However, you can't actively adjust the scenes since everything is scripted. Characters that are noticably shorter or taller will have positioning issues. There's no workaround, aside from selecting a more appropriate size in the adjustment sequence early as mentioned.

I should put that in manual:

 

If you want to fine tune your PC size, compare your character to one of imperial size 1 ones. Use Claudia or Augusta to be sure.

 

Open then console and click on your character. Type setscale XX where XX is a number usually around 0.800 & 1.200 (other value may be needed but a race smaller or bigger than that will be ridiculous).

 

When you have the right number, providing you already did the calibration quest, type set vtoycalibrationquest.vtoyclonescale XX where XX is the number you found.

 

That should fine tune your PC size.

 

Now, since you're about to play with that, can you also report the cutscenes where your clone was not sized properly? I know I forgot some and telling me which one will be really helpfull!

i'll keep note of that grumpf since i'm just starting a complete new playthrough through cls 1 2 and 3 (was almost at the end of the part 4 in chapter 3 when oblivion decided to go pain in the ass mode on me )

Two questions:

 

1. Scrolling through the races, I noticed that the races associated with this mod and Sexy Maid of Chorrol had googly eyes. Also, the mysterious woman in the dream had googly eyes (that's how I know there's a problem). How do I fix this?

 

2. This:

 

 

I assume this has something to do with an idle animation I have installed. I should be able to just uninstall it to get things working, right?

The problem: I don't know what mod it is that has that idle animation.

Does anyone know what mod this idle animation is from?

seductiveidle.kf is the animation. If it doesn't have bbb then it actually comes from oblivion itself as it is the idle from the Siren's quest from Anvil.

I have it in my game and I don't have that issue. I think your still dealing with a load order problem.

 

Try moving cls down a little farther in your load order.

Okay, another problem.

 

I'm at the part where I have to get the spot remover from Lisbeth. I go and sit on the stool, and all I get is this for the next however long I waited (see attached image). Yeah, she just stands there like that.

 

What's the issue now?

You obviously have a mod conflicting by forcing is idle over CLS. Try disabling animation mods. Disable all of them and see if it changes anything. If yes, re-enable half of them and so on till you find the culprit.

 

*I can give you a long and boring explanation on why it's not my fault but poor modding procedure from other mods but that'll make you cry.

Hm...

I'm pretty sure I don't have any animation mods (other than Lovers stuff and idle anims) except the Sensual Walks, which I wasn't using at the time that this was an issue.

Not an expert on this, some people are happily using PK with CLS and I'm quite certain most idle replacers will conflict with every mod respecting animation stack.

 

I'd start by disabling them, including all the pk mod so you'll know for sure. Another thing that can disturb CLS behaviour is some mods that constantly update your status like force underwear/bikini etc.

 

For the sake of it, defrag your Oblivion folder and make sure you don't have a thick program in the backgroud like an antivirus scanning.

 

I assume you got OBSE 20 right?

 

It's probably a simple conflict, we'll fix it!

I disabled PK and all other Lovers mods, including the idleanims/animobjects esps. Still didn't work.

You may have hardcoded .kf replacers somewhere. Send me your savegame files to claudia.calidia@gmail.com, both files and remind me exactly what I need to test in your email as I receive a lot of those!

 

It may be savegame bloating, let's first see if I manage to have it work for me.

Okay, I did what you said in the email and it worked to a point. I got Lisbeth to bend over on the stool... and that's it. She's just bending over, and nothing else happens. I'm assuming my character is supposed to be there licking/fondling/using the toy on her, but that sure isn't happening. It might be worth noting that, when I touch the stool and the scene starts, I'm apparently in first-person mode and can still control my character's movement. However, when I zoom out, my character isn't there, or anywhere for that matter.
