I really love the spells and was wondering if maybe sometime in the future, powers like these could also be enabled for the vampires in the game ? They already have this "hypnotic gaze" interaction by default but it's very pointless I think and something like your mind control spell would be so awesome and a great addition ❤️

Probably best to make your own as the hard requirement for the Genius trait would make most people balk as they don't like to change their sim when they have them the way they want them.

I'm not complaining, I wanted to tell you since I thought I read that only active sims or sims "gifted" condoms to could use them. Sometimes the condom is invisible but the game thinks they have one on, I tested this by putting pregnancy chance to 100% and noticed no pregnancy. Then I disabled condoms and the sim was pregnant instantly. Plus, one time I got a notification that said a townie had a condom break. Anyway, wanted to let you know, tell me if this behavior is normal! Thanks.

That's what I thought too. I already have Sauzer's vampire powers in my game but most of my vampires only use the teleport interaction, because I don't want all of them to have the genius trait. So I would prefer if you could give it a try @TwilightStorm And if you want to make more for witches, sure, go for it! Do you have anything in mind?

So yes any sim can use condoms. Townies or not. The point is, that if a sim is able to use a condom, the condom must be in sims inventory. A condom pack and a condom are not invisible. They are visible objects with a group and a hash number that the game identify them. The script seek of a condom pack in sim inventory. If it finds it, it deletes the pack and adds 2 condoms in sim inventory. The sim then has a visible condom on its penis. If the script finds no condom packs and no condoms, it returns a "Shit I have no condoms" message from the sim and the flag that prevents pregnancy script to work raise and the pregnancy script starts. If the sims has a condom in its inventory then the condom brake chance script starts and if it succeeds it returns a "Fuck the condom break" message from the sim and the BrokenCondom flag raise and the pregnancy script starts. If you got such message from a Townie, it means that this Townie was a male one and had actually, a condom in its inventory. So "if no condom" in sim inventory, triggers the pregnancy to start. Even in 100% value of pregnancy, there is a chance for pregnancy not to start. If the animation is Male/Female the category should be vaginal and the pregnancy setting should be, "Let passion choose". The other 2 methods of pregnancy are for old AW animations only. Even if you choose 100% pregnancy success and pregnancy category "by position", you will never get pregnancy if you don't have AW animations that define pregnancy in their XML. That has nothing to do with condoms.

I love both vampires and witches! I have a lot in mind but the fact is if they work in sims 3 or cause serious errors. For example I have in mind a script that will permanent transform a sim in to a pet, after a magic spell, making witches the most powerful sims in sims3.

This kind of transmutation would be very interesting IF it's possible. Maybe sims could even shift shapes between species (from sim to pet and back to sim)? This could also be something for the vampires or werewolves so that they can become actual wolves/dogs ? But you're right, we have to see if something like that would work in the game in the first place without trouble

You can buy them in grocery stores or go to buy build - skills and hobbies and inject them in the game. Just because only active sims can buy or get condom packs, townies can not have them in their inventories and so the condoms script do not work for them. Unless for some reason, a townie got a condom or a pack in its inventory. This happens if you give it as a gift or if it was on a floor or a furniture and by accident a sim took it or stole it and add it in its inventory. What you described is a very rare situation, where a townie somehow gets a condom pack or a single condom in its inventory. The message that you saw is only if a condom was used by the script and the script succeed to brake the condom. If there's no condom in sim inventory, this whole script hibernates. So what is strange here, is how a townie got that object and add it in its inventory. Is this townie, a known one? Does it have any stealing trait and took it from one of your own sims? Not really strange if they are available in the Grocery Store inactive sims can buy them. You'd be surprise just what kind of stuff you can find in their personal inventories.

They are inventory objects, they add in grocery's home list but they are unknown to other vanilla game functions, since EA stopped development Sims 3. You think that it's possible? I mean an unknown to me at least routine that reads objects from grocery's lists and add them random in sim inventories? This is the only way for this to happen. HAPPY 2019 Totally possible the game is intelligent enough to recognize a new purchasable object. There where a couple of late added Store Items that added extra fruits to the Grocery Store and were not known to the vanilla game as well but you could find those in some sims inventories. It could also be the result of the games random gifting of objects to inactives. And Happy New Year to you too. May your New Year be prosperous and filled with happy times.

Any ideas what the problem is, and how to fix it. Nothing seems to be broken, and the game appears to be running fine, but I'm hesitant to keep playing without knowing what it is.

The error message that you mention has to do with passion autonomy. It's possible to see it, if a sim is stacked or has a routing error but you supposed not to see it all the time. In such cases (that you see it all time) a sim is corrupted. If this is what happens, reset the town with master controller and see if the autonomy error still spawns.
louisjk1990 Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 im struggling to launch the game with passion.package in the packages folder. if i remove it and leave all the other animated woohoo packages and passion dependencies the game launches fine but as soon as i drop passion.packages in there the "play" button just launches the black screen with little white bar at the bottom but then closes and doesnt launch the game. any idea on what im doing wrong here?

Which game patch version you have? There are 2 files that come together. CmarNYC_Penis.package This has anything that the game needs for naked outfit tattoos etc. And cmar_XCAS_corefull67.package This is a core mod that is modding the game core to make the nude outfit. If this one is not for your game version, you will face the issue you describe. This one is for 1.67 Origin.

This one deletes and copies any sim in town and fixes any issue they might have.
