Passion [Requires patch level 1.63+]

KW is a different sex mod, right? If so, no Passion is the only one I have along with NRaas Woohooer. Some of the positions I have downloaded do have the prefix KW in them however. Do you think that could be my problem?

All my other positions/places to woohoo work as they should so I never thought it might be a problem. (Aside from the various toys (the handcuffs, whip and dildo) refusing to be in my sims' personal inventories but I keep my sims woohooing in their house only and the objects do get fetched when needed for a position so I can't say I mind)

 

Edit: I'm attaching a shot of my Passion folder, if you see something that should/shouldn't be there, please do tell me.

No everything looks fine in your mods folder.

Do you have any stereo in the room that you placed the pole?

If you do. is the music on when you send sims to dance on it?

Actually I don't. I have speakers hanging off the wall but no actual stereo. I didn't think it mattered since with just speakers (the music is on) in the room, sims do work out (same way they do when interacting with the stereo or tv). 

 

As for options on the pole (yes, it's a pie styled menu, sorry I misspoke) I do get a "dance" and a "dance_pro" or "strip_pro", something like that. I tried both those options and the sims reacted the same way. My own sims, an npc visitor and a professional hired for a party.

You can add speakers but not modded and unknown.

Strip dance and the automate strip dance needs the existence of a stereo or the vanilla Town speakers of sims 3 and needs them on, playing some music, in the same room that the pole is.  Any modded satellite speakers with the option of Nraas mods Wirehouse with speakers, do not add music device to a room.

The satellite speakers produce only a visual effect and the choice of debugger enabler "Wirehouse with speakers" upgrade or the upgrade it self, stand only for the stereo that is in a specific room. The upgrade makes it sound around the house and not the satellite speakers.

I thought it would be something really obvious that I just wasn't seeing/thinking of. So, I'll swap the speakers for a proper radio and give it another go tomorrow. To clarify then, do I need both a dance floor and a (turned on) radio in the room with the pole?

For the automate strip dance interaction, you defiantly do!

It works this way if you ever decide to build a strip club.

You also need to have passion autonomy > 0 for this. Passion autonomy affects them all.

I mean the whole town on this.

The latest remark you state that in order for the strip dance the passion autonomy has to be 0!

But that will make the whole town go crazy and just engage in passion all the time and then i'll be back in the same nigthmare of kinkyworld where the mod take over everything.

I hope this is not the case because if this is it, you can count me out. I refuse to let one mod dictate my sim and the way i play my game!

I have the setting on 10 % and i like to keep it that way, and others have the freedom to put it to any setting they like. Please don't force us to put the setting to 0 as there will not be any point to have a setting at all.

The Bondage Frame.jpg, the Read This.pdf and the Stockade BDSM Furniture.jpg should be taken out of your mods folder you shouldn't have pdf's and picture's there.

If passion autonomy is zero all autonomous interactions stop.

Even if any one wants autonomy 100% and don't want strangers to participate, passion has settings to disable the passion broadcast of a passion event, to make them leave the room when passion starts and to disable autonomous strip dance.

Passion is not made to dominate your Town and take over everything.

 

No these two mods do not conflict, since my new spells are new script code, unknown to any override mod.

When you put it like that, it makes perfect sense that an active proper radio needs to be in the room for the pole to work as it should, much like clubs need an active radio to allow the sims to dance. I just didn't even consider it, thinking that if sims can work out on the basic hanging speakers, then why can't they dance/strip to them as well?

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I just saw this.  There is nothing wrong with image files or the pdf file being there. I always keep jpg or png files to identify my cc in case I want to remove some of it later. The game simply ignores it and it doesn't cause me any issues.

Hi Storm, and thanks for the new update! Wow new animations, look forward to test them out in game Well the prvious version plays exellent in game, only one thing that bug me a little, the poledance stopped a passion and called on one of the couple to dance on the pole instead of doing the passion. maybe the call is to strong? I can always take my couple into another room to prevent this from happening again. snce i have the setting on 10% should it not be a little less frequent? The hour my sim was there it kept happening again and again ;D It's not a problem just beig nosy

That's what I called hierarchy between strip dance and passion. I think that I fix that in this update. 

If it still happens I'll look at it again.

I need to play a lot to find some issues but I don't have, that much time.

 

If you can't imagine the time it needs, I'll give you a clue.

 

When I first wrote the script and because it has to do with sims autotomy, I noticed that the sims still strip dance if there is no music around.

I fixed that.

Then again playing, I noticed that a sim gets an interaction to look at a strip dance and then an interaction to dance on a dance floor. (It needs time to get a sim random doing this)

The music stops but the sim starts the dance on floor interaction. I fixed that.

Then I saw 2 sims start passion and stop to watch a strip dance. I fixed that.

Last I saw 2 sims passion and stop because one was interacted to strip dance. I fixed that.

I really don't know what else might happen!

 

It will be good to get some info from any player and for sure, I need it detailed.

i found your mod.quickly change outfit mod on the modthesims.it's very useful.thanks but we need a mod like this.

im using the kinky world for adjust the height of objects.up and down or left and right.im actually use kinky world mostly for this feature.

But it s hard to use.we need to adjust first movement size and then select the option (up,down,left,right)i want a useful feature like ts4.they can make this selecting a key just only on a keyboard and holding it.i believe most of people like me want this also.Is it possible to make a mod for passion?

What objects are you talking about? All objects? Or is something that KW asks to choose like what side of bed or bath tab?

Hi tsukigallleta (= Attached  in Japanese? or you have nothing to do with Japan!)

Typically you overwrite the old files with the new that came with the new update.

If you have renamed anything, you should delete it, copy the new file and rename it again.

One new thing added in this version, is Outfit Changer.

This small mod changes outfits, override. That means it changes sim outfits while they walk or eat or do any kind of animation.

This mod will continue with more, like add public hair to females (because I noticed that this one drains lots of games virtual memory)  

 

The settings are saved in your library folder, so any setting will be the same when mod updates.

Nope, not changing names of anything but the library files, so no problem there.

I don't understand very well the rest, that changing outfit thing. Is it like Nraas Dresser? I stopped using that mod, my sims kept rotating outfits and they looked ridiculous! LOL!

And I guess you mean "pubic" hair, right? I'll gladly check that out. I don't like Cmar pubic hair and I'm using an old one I had. File's name is K&B_acc but I don't remember where I got it from.

i think it 's created in kinky world for adjusting sims within incorrect position.you know,sometimes sims can't take position right.they could sink into the bed or sofa.unlikely,too high from the bed or sofa.We can adjust this option either on sims and objects.im using this option for taking screenshots.actually,im using kinky world for this feature.it helps a lot to take screenshots for my story.

I had an issue once, trying to use animations for other objects to objects of my choice (like to use counter anims to counter sink object that has higher y axes than counter) I missed the animation y axes and I got something like this below. 

 

 

Because I fixed it I know what the issue was, but you would like this as a mod???

I mean to move custom sex animations up on the air with or with not the object that the animation is suppose to happen?

If you want to record or screen shot something like this, you don't need a mod.

You can use (In a house or community that you own in game) the cheat moveobjects on.

start the animation, stop the game, go to build buy grab and move objects and sims to where you want.

This hair comes from Oniki but if there is anything more I'll be glad to add it.

By this message sims 3 tells you that you have a core mod that is even outdated or it comes from other game version.

Passion files in general are pure script mods. The only core mod is cmar_XCAS_corefull67.package that is not for steam versions.

For steam versions you need cmar_XCAS_corefullSteam67.package that you will find in cmar blog.
