Ark of Truth Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Thought so they said it was going to be release 30 days after the Xbox exclusive over a month ago. Oh well
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 You're just ensuring I don't buy your game for even longer, guys.
billypnats Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 did they ever say it'll be released after 30 days?
ThatGuyJonus Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 They never said it would be released 30 days after the xbox release. THey only said Xbox had an exclusivity deal for 30 days.
MonkeyShoulder Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 They are not going to create positive connections with non-360 gamers by doing this.
gregathit Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 While it was never promised, it was implied by the 30 day exclusivity deal. My personal take on this is that they should take however long they need to play test the living crap out of it to make sure they don't break the custom armors and races again with the patch and release. Folks may gripe about a delayed release, but if Bethesda breaks all the mods that are out there with the DLC due to not testing it properly then "that" will be a shit storm!
alako Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I think they are pushing 1.7 with the DLC. Maybe it's worth the wait =D
Duoleb The Chosen Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 well 1.6 had 20% of the dawnguard features, so they adding little byt little to see if there's no problem with mods and etc. and well, Quakecon is next week, lets see if they will talk something during the event(along with the Cursed Doom IV and Doom3BFG specs)
Brucealso Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 No surprise here as i wasnt holding my breath..they do have a 1.7 beta out now so who knows. I guess thats 20 bucks i saved plus maybe an overage on my data plan for downloading...lol
SummGai Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 as long as my mods are safe, i dont want my character to turn into an old milf like the first time they came out with the HD update
Angry Ghost Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 ahhh so they are keeping everyone in suspense? I still wonder why they have not came out and said that they will release it for the other systems instead of letting the masses speculate. But, instead they give that statement that said they have no plans for a release on other systems nor any time lines for a possible release... they should have just came out and said it one way or another.
Brucealso Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Patch 1.7 was released today i believe its no longer a beta.
gregathit Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 patch 1.7 was only 16mb Evil can come in any size...... I just hope they haven't broken too much this time around!
tsuki no mori Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 patch 1.7 was only 16mb Evil can come in any size...... I just hope they haven't broken too much this time around! Has anyone played 1.7 enough to pass judgement on it yet? I know that it only changes tesv.exe so it'll be easy enough to back out of but I would like to hear some reports on what it breaks and what it fixes.

If this is all it affects - what does it then mean for those of us launching via the SKSE Launcher?

If this is all it affects - what does it then mean for those of us launching via the SKSE Launcher? SKSE invokes TESV.EXE so SKSE's scripting functionality and TESV's co-exist. You'll still need the correct version of SKSE as it checks the Skyrim version. What I meant is that you can back up TESV.EXE and go back to 1.6 pretty easily if 1.7 isn't to your liking.
sbseed Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 the update for 1.7 from skse is not working with the 1.7 version of skyrim... doesnt matter if you have dawnguard installed or not. the error you get is that it only supports previous versions of skyrim up to 1.5 or 1.6 versions of skyrim... this is an issue with skse itself. have yet to see a solution or work around that allows you to play the game and dlc together, at least without deleting all the skse files from your skyrim directory which in turn makes it impossible to play with any mods. if you go to a previous version of skyrim you cant play dawnguard but you can use your mods... so at this point its what you want to exchange or play without. at least till skse team fixes their own files to do proper check and returns on game version (patched versions). one last thing, for any who are interested dawnguard is out now on steam for the PC (its also out for ps3)...
gregathit Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Uh really? I just updated my SKSE and it works just fine with DawnGuard. Sounds like you just need to go grab the latest version of SKSE.
