this might be a silly idea but i cant get the animations to work. i followed the tutorial and got everything correct (i think) and i got the pop up menu saying it installed but how exactly do i get the animations started? also, i noticed that when i got the pop up menu i did not get supermutant confirmation

Can anyone help me? I've followed FO4 modding guides from Vinfamy to the comma (I think) and if I try to start a new game, it crashes whenever I go from Vault111 to Concord. If I use the mod for alternate start, then I can play perfectly until I try to get to Concord.

I have started from a fresh install and freshly installed all mods. Just as I finish installing, launch the game and have the same situation. Once I leave Vault111, My game cdt's and I get that error in papyrus :(

Most mods are not to be installed until you are out of the vault & at least at Concord, for the very reason you are experiencing.......

 

Dunno why this is, it just is. Installing mods BEFORE you exit the vault is a BAD IDEA.

It will not help you find the issue, but the errors you are seeing in the papyrus log are probably not causing your cdt.  I have those same errors occur pretty much any time a new area loads.  Generally from what I have seen, the errors you see in the papyrus log usually don't cause cdt they just cause the scripts not to run or not to run properly.

For some reason the animation chain in Leito's updated version won't progress, specifically when combined with Sex Em Up. Are you using the legacy animations of Leito by default? Or do I need to replace it? Please help... :(

 

Yeah so I was actually having this same issue yesterday when I played. When I get home I'll be able to test it out and see what's going on! 

 

 

Found out that it only plays the first stage. Pity.

I dunno... something strange is happening in my game now... when I watch people getting busy via Autonomy, they start in a pose - animation, whatever... I walk away and come back and theyve changed position. Is this just something Ive never seen before or some new mechanic is at play that perhaps we dont know about? Anyone else seen this occur, the changing of positions between two NPCs???

So I come back to FO4 after a while and I decide to reinstall Four-Play as well.  I make a couple of minor mistakes in my mod installs - entirely my fault by assuming I had already loaded a pre-req when I hadn't - and I end up with some invisible bodies.  "No biggie" I think, I just need to go correct that.

 

I manage to make the males appear correctly (yay), but poor Dogmeat is staying invisible (not sure on that one), but now I have a different problem.  I can't seem to access the four-play mcm.  Instead of opening up the menu, it simply becomes "equipped" when I go to activate it.  Numpad 7 doesn't help either (nothing happens).  I can use Sex 'em up to initiate sex with random NPCs just fine, but using the same hotkey to just activate masturbation causes my character to strip, equip a strapon, and then stand there for 15 sec (the default time).  I then get an error - I think it says "the actor is already involved in an action", but I'm in survival, so I can't tilde out to check messages and it vanishes too quickly to read.

 

I'd bother attaching the papyrus log, but after a quick check of it, it essentially boils down to the following:

roughly 700 lines roughly matching one of the following 4 errors/warnings:

 

1. error: Unable to bind script four_play_Nudesuits:AddonQuest to NudesuitsBaseRaiderDog (0A00BE7D) because their base types do not match
2. Cannot open store for class "Vin_ApplyEffectScript", missing file?
3. error: Property Carla on script four_play:test_term_group attached to  (25020680) cannot be bound because <nullptr form> (25020634) is not the right type
4. warning: Property DLC04GZMainQuest on script DLC04:DLC04_GZSetConsciousOnHit attached to  (0602946C) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property
 
and then at the end:
4PSEU Debug: OnControlUp has started
4PSEU Debug: OnControlUp has determined it was our key, that the player wasn't in a menu or power armor, that the player isn't dead, and that the player isn't sitting
4PSEU Debug: OnControlUp has seen that we held the keys long enough to trigger masturbation menu.
 
(I didn't bother with the few misc lines of VM is freezing/frozen/thawing/etc and the line showing I was autosaving since I was quiting to desktop)
 
I followed the install guide, except obviously I missed installing the nude male base bodies the first time.  I'm planning to remove and reinstall from scratch all of the four-play related mods in case something is massively wrong, but I haven't found anything in my forum search that matches this problem.

Update: deleted all the mods and reinstalled.  Progress. 

 

Sort of.

 

Dogmeat now appears.  No genitals, but at least he isn't invisible, proper mounting and animation looks fine, he's just not hung so probably not very satisfying for either of them.

 

However, the other males are now completely invisible during sex.  They used to have a head and hands (first attempt - see previous post), then they worked correctly (2nd attempt - prior to the snafu I discussed in my previous post).  Now, however, they do what dogmeat used to do.  sex scene starts and *poof* invisible partner.  I'm thinking it has to do with the install order of one of the mods - well that I used dongs instead of nudesuits this time around.  Which might explain why the reversal of fortune between dogmeat and all the human males.

 

More experimenting lies ahead.

 

However I did get all the animations working (including masturbation), so that's a plus!  And all the MCM menus are functioning correctly as well.  So like 90% of the way there.

Has anyone gotten this to work properly with companion mods that have their own custom follower systems? Mods like Heather Casdin and Wastelander Barb to be specific. It seems after a scene ends with such companions, something gets messed up and their follower interactions get sort of buggy. In my case, Heather cannot be dismissed properly; she still ends up following the player.

 

I'm not sure if Four Play is the culprit here, but I'm currently trying to pinpoint the issue by looking at mods that affect companions right now.

Heather gets completely broken by FourPlay. Not sure why, but what you said happens to you, happens to me also. Turn off four play mods on a save just before meeting her and playing it and she works fine. Im at a loss. I dont know - Im still inclined to think it has a load to do with Vanilla Fudge. The Lovers embrace thing totally hijacks heather's programmed sleep behaviours, which BTW are all custom - she is WAY outside the vanilla programming, hence why you can have her AND a vanilla companion at the same time (And wastelander Barb too if you like, for a four person death squad as I play it sometimes :P )...

 

Bottom line - Heather gets smashed to pieces by the four play environment. Which is too bad, since she's easily the BEST companion for FO4, ever.

I think a few issues have been fixed after I added Heather to the CurrentCompanion faction through the Vinfamy Control Panel. At the very least, I can dimiss her properly now, but I think this ends up bugging out other vanilla companions that are made to join after. Maybe I should dismiss Heather, hire the other vanilla companion, then rehire Heather again? I don't know... I'm also currently using UCF, so it may be a buggy mix of companion mods.

 

If this doesn't get sorted out, I might as well remove Heather from my playthrough and replace her with Ellen the Cartographer who is probably more in line with the vanilla companion system.

Heather is just so much better though, lol..  all those hidden features to discover like the noodle bowls and cigarettes... still havent hit the new hat one though, no matter which hat I give her, it doesnt trigger a response. Ah well...

Sou, everything´s working so far - but ive got a problem.

If i start an animation with "H" actors allign, start getting it on but stop after about 20 secs. I tried to set it to 90 secs in the CP but that didnt work. Seems like the keys to change the position are not working either. Any ideas ?

I followed installation as closely as I could, with all the mods and their dependencies, and dependencies of dependencies lol, but may have overwritten something?

 

Any help that can be provided would be great. I just started FO4 last week, and everything is the latest version.

Yes, I installed both, but then found another post where it's recommended they be disabled/deleted (Leito and Crazy's gun, but the gun still shows up in my inventory even though the mod has been deleted), and in doing so there are residual files that will still be used?? Hi Mashup,

 

I uploaded and installed both of those files, but have since deleted and disabled them both, per the FourPlay Patch 2.6 description:

 

From 2.4 onwards, you need to disable or delete FO4_AnimationsByLeito.esp also. This is because sounds are now handled internally and dynamically by the framework - keeping Leito's esp would lead to duplication of sounds and potential damage your ears  :) . Don't worry, Leito's actual animations are still used.

 

I also get the notification to load the animations when I disable then enable the FP esp.s, and have confirmed that both animation options are still there with FO4Edit, though I'm not sure if they're simply residual files that didn't get disabled, or what.

 

I also get the pop-up asking me which animations I want to use [i choose the last option, which uses Leito+Crazy+Dog support (I believe that's the way it's worded)]. Could this be a false command prompt from the old files still lingering, or...
