OP i've got an issue

 

the Jail itself I only get around 8 FPS inside

 

meanwhile anywhere else it's 50-60 

 

Any solutions? I've got a real good rig too (Gtx 1070, I7)

 

Make sure you have Antiailiasing and Anisotropic Filtering OFF(best performance)

ENBoost up to date for your rig, and using the correct version.

Edit add:
I have added several actors to the interior of the prison, this could be causing some massive hits on your game, if your skin textures are of very high quality, Might want to get a reduced skin texture version for it to load faster.

Hello, amazing work on the approach system. It works like a charm!

 

I was wondering if am i doing something wrong about the escape quest. I've got my bully points to 99 and had my speechcraft 45 persuasion or intimidation checks are failing. Just to try, i put my speechcraft skill to 100 via console but still i continued to fail. Still inmates attitudes changed tho. I mean when i had 0 bully points they were answering rude now they are only saying "are you mad?"

 

Do i need to do something extra to trigger escape quest with inmates?

Do you think you can detect wether or not it is the first imprisonment the player goes through, if it isn't then do slightly different scenario? So that the player do not enter with a clean state but with remnants of her/his past "adventures". For instance, if the player was someone's bitch, then that status could remain but with some inherent mechanical help to get the player away from that state. In a way, to have either the player or an NPC to reaffirm their dominance.

 

The state on leaving the prison, should remain when you return. Even the Bully Score. So if you get out the first time through normal means, the next time you go in, where ever your Bully score was, should remain the same. Also If you chose to leave through the Sewers, your time when you escaped will be added, to what you just received, AND the sewer door should be blocked by a fallen Bolder with no way to access it.

 

As for being a specific inmate's prison bitch is not incorporated into the system. Could be something I add to it later. I do like the suggestion, as it portrays a realistic prison. It will change the bully score, and approaches... And maybe cause fights between inmates to ascertain exchange of who you belong to. Or they might sell you to another inmate... Lots to consider for that.

 

 

That's the thing though, if the player get released the then score should start to drop until completely forgotten by the inmates. I mean, usually another bully would step up to be the king. I guess that this kind of stuff falls under the gameplay balance thing.

Very good point. Will have to see what I can do about that, when I get around to rewriting the bully system.

I could not tell anyone to give me ore, anyone got this problem also ?

 

I did as the guide said, demand ore -> fight -> he down to his knee -> ask again -> "who do you think you are trying to scare"...

 

Be sure to check if they have ore to give in their inventory

 

you can check by pickpocketing to see their items.

 

When you firts start the mod it take a little while (at noon i think) before a refresh happen and everybody has ore

where is the warden? i can't find him

 

The warden is in the middle room before exiting the prison between the two cage door

Maybe when finding a solution to the force greet, it has broken other things, skyrim is so finicky sometimes

 

For the escape, i know there is a way  in the tunnel but i dont remember if the quest was implemented but a sure way to escape is exchanging ore and waiting for your sentence time.

Yes, Benloc, the guy in Ebony Armor is the Warden, but no, he does not yet have any Dialogue added.

 

It will be harder to get the quest for starting the escape quest, if you run a custom race. Same race has a higher chance to success on getting out that way. 1 of the basic races are not added to the prison. Chance of success is determined mostly by speech skill + Bully Level, If you speech is less than 30, even with bully of 99, it will fail.

 

They have ore, you beat them down, then ask them while their health is low, they should agree. If they are not agreeing, then possible problems could be

- Updated the scripts while using an existing game that already had the prison scripts added.

- Try it with a new game. Or load a save that is before Prison is added to the save games.

There were several script changes, and 5 new scripts added as a result of the most recent modifications, On success, it should give you some of the ore directly, no inventory window.

 

Back to Escape - Go to the yard to ask for help to escape when you have at least 30 Speech and bully of 80, or Speech 80 and bully 50. That should give you a higher success chance to get someone to say yes. There is a problem with moving the NPC from area to area due to limitations of Skyrim.

 

Edit Add:

- It's been too hot for me to run any 3D programs, I've been trying hard to stay cool, none of my home Air Conditioners are working currently. So my leave of absence is longer than hoped.

I am sorry all, my system went down, and I had no way to access the internet to even let you all know what's happening.

 

My main HD died, and I lost ALL my mods and everything. It took me a bit to get a new drive for my system, and now I am in the process of reinstalling everything to the new drive.

Back up and running, sort of, having some issues with Skyrim stability currently.

And here's why I blame windows 10 for the problems.

- Before my required reinstall, Skyrim was stable, and was able to leave it running all night, after the Windows 10 reinstall, crashes after 15 minutes at most.

- Recent Windows 10 update, made Skyrim more stable, still crashing occasionally after a sexlab animation when traveling from cell to cell.

Till I can get that sorted, I doubt I will be reworking the mod. 5 days straight now...

 

edit 1: progress on stabalizing my Skyrim on Window 10...

Ok, still having the problem with sex, and changing zones... Played about 45 minutes, had sex, changed zones and crashed before the next cell set could load.

Got rid of my graphics flicker issue by unzipping the DX.cad files from DirectX 9c into the Skyrim folder. *Thinking I will have to edit ENBoost's Antifreeze ini to include additional dlls that were unzipped.*

 

edit 2: Dec 6

Discovered instabilities were being caused by Graphics...

- Sad to see enboost go, but it was causing major instabilities with the recent reinstall of windows 10.

 

Stabilization has improved - with or without touchscreen active - They might of fixed the touch screen coding in Windows 10.

Shortly after, it crashed...

 

This is most likely caused by a mod with improper scripting, not enough for Papyrus to notice a problem, but causes instant crashes at irregular intervals, or a major mod conflict *since I did update several mods recently, some of them might no longer be compatible with each other*

- I like the ones that cause instability in the game first, lag, no lag, lag, freeze, crash... LOL They give me a chance to save the game before it gets bad.

- having about 200 installed mods, is a real pain to sort through.

 

Once I can play for 2-3 hours straight without a crash, then I can get back to working on Raven Beak Prison.

 

Edit 3: Dec 6 - about 12 hours later - and several tweaks to see what's going on....

Ok, Stable until...

- Sudden Loss of textures : Lots of texturless meshes shortly before crashing. Textures are there, just not loading. Default Skyrim armor and clothing textures as well as some structural textures. Considering getting a retexture set to alleviate that.

Still hitting that random C++ Visual Runtime Error, that has never been corrected.

If it doesn't pop on me, I could literally have the game run for a week.

Without a way to debug C++ and correct the invalid call, I will never be able to fix this.

 

It pops mostly durring Sexlab intercourse on me. Tho could be any number of reasons for it. Has anyone found a real fix for that error?
