A.S.I.A. - Sexbots of The Commonwealth [Old-Discontinued]

This mod got me to start another FO4 play-through, and I'm enjoying it so far, though there's always that slight bummer that almost no one reacts to a Sexbot mingling among them.

The BoS is the obvious exception, and after having to fight off Danse and company because I didn't realize they would be hostile despite me saving their buns, I ran into another A.S.I.A. bot labelled as a 'Patrol Leader'. I killed her and she had some very nice armor, so after getting upgraded to Gen 2 I put that stuff on.... and it feels like it's better than any of the three armors I can get from the chairs, especially since I can take it off at will. Is this intended?

I just saw that there's an updated version too, so I went ahead and nabbed that. Good stuff! ^_^

How do I get the Gen 4 body?

Let me guess.... not much of a reader, are ya?  :P

The armors were a snafu on my part. I forgot to adjust them before releasing the mod. Fixed for the final version. You can still loot the patrol leaders armor, but it won't be as good as the armors from the chairs. I also made some alterations to the maintenance corridor. The beds are gone, and a single chair that equips/unequips the prime armor now resides there. The enslaved bots weren't initially going to be included. But I figured I would keep them in until I can decide what to do with them later. I'm looking into different uses for them, and basically just letting them idle around until FO4's adult modding advances far enough to help me decide how best to utilize them. For now though, they're more eye candy than anything  ;)

So I love the mod so far, but when I tried to upgrade from Gen 1 to Gen 2 nothing happens. I went to the terminal in the sewer, and activated the prompt on the terminal. I waited the 5 seconds but no upgrade. Any idea what I did wrong?

Did you use the terminal in the C.I.T. Rotunda yet?

On that note:

I also found an edit I made to a Diamond City faction during the build. I thought I had removed it, but I apparently didn't. It has now been dealt with, and should resolve the issue with Home Plate.

I'm repackaging the entire mod for the final version now (checking, double checking, and triple checking that I include everything this time :P ). I'll re-up the file later this afternoon and add the [Final] tag to the end of the thread title so you'll know it's ready. I suggest removing the entire mod before installing the final version, so previous versions and updates don't cause any conflicts. I will also boldly recommend this suggestion at the end of the OP.

This version should resolved any remaining issues, so any issues that might arise from the final version forward will be dealt with through patches or updates.

Final version up.... be sure to read the ENTIRE first post in this thread.

Sorry if I'm being stupid, but I don't see any of the edits you made to your OP, including the billboard fix. Where do I find these?

The edits were removed when I updated the mod. See my last post right above yours...

Everything I previously posted separately has been repacked into the new final version. If your billboards aren't working, then you're using the old version and need to update. Read the entire first post of this thread entirely.

I might have missed something, but I think I followed your edited OP when installing the final version - but I am still listed as trespassing in Home Plate, and the items in containers are atill flagged red.

So i hate to do this but any non "robot" characters are now also being attacked by the brotherhood.

to test this to make sure i didnt do anything weird i made a new character using the this is a memory i dont want to relive this option..didnt read any of the terminals. in the cryo room where you start i spoke to Nate and said i was going to find who took shaun..immediatly went to cambridge and helped Danse and they started attacking me.

seeing how i still could have screw that up by hitting them i started back at the save right outside the vault and spawned in a brotherhood knight    he insta killed me

please dont take this as a bitching post as it is not my intention.

Ok so now i'm curious. Was this mod not ment to be character specific?  like by activating the 2nd cryo pod flagged you as a robot? If not that would answer alot of my quiestions.

Try this:

open the console and type the following:

player.addtofaction 1c21c 1

That should resolve the issue. It would seem that existing characters are retaining the faction edits from the older version. New characters created under the final version don't suffer from this.

No worries.... but I'm curious what you mean by "non robot"?

However, I think you got something else going on. I just loaded my human test character up and spawned in Paladin Danse, Knight Rhys, and a few other oddball NPCs to test for this issue. Danse started walking toward Cambridge, Rhys just stood there, and the others started sandboxing at the furniture and other markers around them. Mind you this was a level 1 character that has done nothing but exactly what you did to the letter. Same options, fell out of the freezer, passed the second room, killed everything and left. So you might want to start looking into other mods in your load order.

Thanks - that solved it.

@Trykz - You really need to get a moderator to either lock or merge the WIP version of this modification's thread. That way people won't be able to keep posting in the WIP thread and thus you won't have to monitor it or people complaining about you not seeing their posts which are in the wip thread.

Ensuring that you have only the new WIP (expansion) and this final thread to monitor for bug reports.

LOL... you're the second person to suggest that, so I suppose I should get on it. Thanks for the reminder  ;)

So, for whatever reason, this mod seems to cause the blackface glitch that people would get when overworking their cards. However, the issue only occurs when I interact with the terminal in the cryo room and am put in the gen 1 body. Prior to that, everything is fine, and if I elect not to use the terminal and just continue playing I again don't get the issue.

Edit: I also can't see the billboards. I'll double check that I downloaded the correct file, but it should have been the one posted in this thread.

Edit 2: Yep, turns out I downloaded the mod the day before the final was posted lol. My bad.

Did I miss something or did the final version remove the ultra-light bio armor? Because I can no longer find that initialization chair in the production wing... :-/

Also I have noticed that if I play as an A.S.I.A character, quit to main menu, and then start a new game, the new character will now have full rad immunity without transformation which pertains after restarting the game (if I restart the game before creating the character then everything is fine). I did not think too much about it but then I read the above post about BOS attacking human characters and thought maybe this is somehow related?

The Ultralight armor is comprised of EasyGirl parts. The OP of this thread explains why they were removed.

As for the rad immunity and BoS/Human issue, your scenario is a definite possibility. If such is the case, then that's yet another Bethesda engine issue which I cannot resolve. If you could, please try this a few times and let me know. Also, try spawning in a few BoS members via console to see if they attack you.

If your results are positive, then I'll explain the issue and it's workaround in the OP.

Thanks,

Just created two more new characters (one for each of my A.S.I.A character) following that procedure. And the results are the same:

They are immune to rad like an A.S.I.A, and BoS members I spawned (named and unnamed, except Danse and his crew) shoot them on sight. Danse and his crew are not hostile but I guess that makes sense since when my A.S.I.A characters go to the police station they only turn hostile after you finish the "kill all ferals" part of the "Fire Support" quest.

Installed the final version, which did fix the billboards, but not my other issue. Also tried a new character to see if there was some junk with the save. Here's some pictures of the problem:

That problem started when the HD Dlc's were released.  It's said to come from a head texture (usually a specular map)  which is smaller than the default 1 k textures added by the hi reslolution dlc's.  I had the same thing you have. To fix it you can either stop using the hi-res dlc's or: unpack the textures in ASIA texture archive (ASIA -textures.BA2.  Then run the Black Face Fix by KLMX on the unpacked textures.  It only works on loose files (why you have to unpack the archive) and it upscales any head textures which are too small so they will be compatible.  Works great.  You will need an archiving tool to unpack the BA2.  There are several of them on the Nexus, I used BAE.

My previous issue with rad immunity seems to be fixed, but when I was updating to the final release I noticed that the bodyslide files for the ASIA bodies seems to be missing.

Since you're the only one having this issue, it would seem something on your end is interfering with the mod. Are you using Unique Player?

Hey Trykz..I gave up trying to figure out the BoS aggressive issue.  not that it's a big deal for me seeing how i usually dont side with them.  my only concern was for one of the recruitable settlers that is triggered by yhe call to arms quest (which i can complete using setstage).

Either way i love the mod and can't wait to see whats next.

Read a few posts up. halradeon discovered an engine issue that may be the exact reason why BoS actors are aggressive toward your human character. If you exited the game to the main menu (without exiting the game entirely) when you created the new character, then the effects given to the previously played character are being retained in the game engine, and are being passed on to the new character.

As noted, this is a game engine issue that I'll need to report to Bethesda. So if you can confirm that your A.S.I.A. and new human character saves are in the same save folder, I'd greatly appreciate it.

That's a no on the Unique Player, I'm just going to try a clean instance of fallout 4 and work from there.

Thanks for trying to help, but I don't currently have the texture mod installed in an attempt to fix this already, and doing the other fix actually managed to break the pre A.S.I.A. model lol
