My best guess is it's either a corrupted sim, or corrupted/missing game data.

 

That LE doesn't tell me much other than pregnancy and no data.

Well I hate to say it, and I may be wrong, but that one looks like a legit WW bug.

But it could be related to another EA game bug too.

Unless you have another mod that affects relationships, traits, or buffs, I'm stumped. 

 

Are you getting spammed with LE's or is it a one shot deal.

 

Sometimes you just have to delete your localthumbcache between saves to clear some bad data.

Time for some not-so-fun fixing.

 

Cut/Paste the whole Mods folder to your desktop.

Go into saves and delete anything that's not  EA save games. 

 

Delete your localthumbcache in your TS4 folder.

 

Do an Origin Repair Install, if no corrupt files are found it won't take very long.

 

Load the game afterwards without any mods installed but only to the map screen, but not into any households.

Do a 'Save As' test, or cleaned, or whatever.

Exit game and Cut/Paste  WW + animations only from the old Mods folder on your desktop.

Delete your localthumbcache again, you should do this in between every mod you add or remove.

Run the new save you just made and test it out in an active family but don't make any saves that overwrite your cleaned out base save.

 

Try adding Basemental back in the same way as WW and run test save again.

 

Keep adding them back in one at a time and re-testing and eventually the bad one will show back up again.

Or maybe not, cleaning the old save might have cleared it, but it also could be a EA game bug so it's hard to say when they will get fixed.

 

SoL I think was updated but I don't keep tabs on that one so....

Just make sure all the script mods like WW, Basemental, MCCC, and SoL are the latest 'fixed' versions.

WW 148.3/4  I can trigger the animations between young adults and adults, but i cant with teens and young adults/adults. they just trigger with other teens. any idea? I clear sims cache, reset WW settings, also reset MCCC settings. sorry for my english

Okay, I've got an annoying one that I've isolated to Whicked Whims (no other scripts installed for test).

 

There's no exception thrown, but at any time after character generation, if a Sim engages in a WW-loaded animation (but not "watch porn" on the computer) they lose forever the ability to write or resume writing books using the Writing Skill on the computer.

 

The block is akin to having the "Writer's Block" moodlet.  Even if the icon for writing appears (which it doesn't always) it will vanish and no action will be taken.

 

This occurs regardless if a sex-based moodlet is generated or not.

 

Confirmed with an otherwise vanilla sim on vanilla profession paths and with vanilla traits.  Before WW animation, successfully wrote a Children's Book - stopped due to writer's block, played guitar until it vanished, resumed and completed book.

 

Next, launched a single-person animation on a double bed.  Let animation complete.  After that, when selecting a genre of book to write, absolutely nothing happened, even though there was only the Loner moodlet present.

No, as I said it was fully isolated, No other script mods involved, not using any custom items to do the writing.  The only script extension was Wicked Whims,

 

I yoinked all the other mods outta the folder and started up a fresh game. 

 

I mean, I also tested it without Wicked Whims to see if it would happen on it's own, but since the only thing causing it is a WW interaction that was kinda dumb on my part.

Well that is an odd one because I've never seen/heard of it before by any others.

 

Long time ago on older versions of WW I had 1 or 2 family members do the writing books/careers and they worked fine.

 

Haven't tried it recently, although I'm still running pre-patched game and WW v145f.

I'll try it out in game to see if I have the same problem or not.

 

But I suspect it has something to do with the new EA patch and/or WW update.

Since EA has changed some things with computers in game like the new locking feature.

Yes, which is why I was bringing it up on the bug and support thread   Could you do me a solid and see if it also happens in your game?  Then either point me towards the bug-reporting thread or just drop a line yourself? 

 

It makes my author Sims celibate.

 

I don't need that kind of realistic immersion!

 

EDIT: It appears that the latest version has fixed this error for new games.  I will test further.

 

EDIT2: WHELP!  Nevermind to anything.  This appears to be EA's fault, or something screwy on my end.  Fresh game, fresh save, no mods at all.  "Plan Outfit" and now the Sim can no longer resume old books or write new ones.

Did you try doing an Origin Repair Install yet?

 

After that finishes delete your localthumbcache and load the game again with no mods for testing.

 

Sometimes just clearing the old data helps.

If you have the LoversLab version - v145f, then you just need to either select the global incest relationship switch in the Wicked Whims settings or add the incest reward trait to each sim.

I'm having this exact same issue. Not found anyone else who had it so I thought it was just me!

Hi everybody,

 

I updated to v147f but I noticed that animations don't stop, they just keep rolling over and over. I have to stop it manually.
I reset ww settings but it doesn't work.
I have all DLC and stuffs, updated to the very last patch.
 Is it just me or someone else has the same issue?
