VaCR Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 (edited) For those who are unlucky with the Torek ring quest with Palamed in skunkway, if you had taken this quest before working in squeaking mast, your dialogue leading to the scenes with Pal is locked(absent), to bypass that condition( taking quest after working in brothel for atleast 3 days) type into console resetquest hp_sw_dice, after that setstage hp_sw_dice 0. Reasons for skip: I have got the two ingredients and returned them to Zoe. But she doesn't have the option to get her ingredients. I figure there are some bugs in the save maybe I forgot to mention, but like it was said above, you need to reload a save before you talked with the Thief in Riften to use the skip option. A prompt will appear and you'll be able to select all your previous choices and you can stop right after you get the ingredients
Giga-Bool Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 Having a problem with a silent wood task. I've done them all except for Frita. For some reason she is not at the Gazebo when I look for her. I've looked all around and I suspect that she's stuck in her house. I've tried to use the moveto player command with her baseid, but it doesn't spawn her in or get her out. Any suggestions or should I try to just reload ?

Try using mods that spawn loaded NPCs. If you are on SE, I recommend NPC Lookup

Thanks. If you have a mod that changes Falkreath city, it can be an incompatibility.

The stranger stays "busy" after telling me that he will help me out to get some air. I saw the tutorial, I applied the startscene command, even the setstage ## but there is no case. I give up. I appreciate the effort to make this MOD, it must undoubtedly be a huge task. But the creation tools that Bethesda makes available are so BAD that making a MOD with zero problems IS IMPOSSIBLE. I'm still on Riften and the MOD is just starting. Sitting at the table waiting for the "stranger" to react. "I'll take you out for air" he told me, and he left me paying. If you are playing on SE, it's on the old version section on Nexus. For many people who had problems during this dialogue in Riften that was the cause.

I am feeling like i am runing around aimlessly wasting a lot of time. And again, is there a way to enable cheats? I kinda remember there was a cheat menu in the past...

There is a kitchen at the crypt. I think you can fast travel to it if you select the signal post inside the crypt. You'll need to trade talents for cupons though, having to talk with Alga to exchange them; 2. You need to start fishing, after getting the introduction by the keeper, catching a small fish will make her have additional dialogue when you talk with her again. Other than that, she should come up to give you more bait and tackles. 3. After you learn from Frita about the thief, go talk with her husband Modi at the tavern by night, then there should be the dialogue option to take the watch with him. You can also just come up at night in front of their house and talk with him when he is sitting outside at the bench. 4. You need to fall/ jump with the water buckets in front of her when she is doing the laundry at the lake and she will comment about it. Talk with her and she will say that she was really good with the buckets and can help you out with some tips, then she will ask you to convince the cook at the kitchen to make the mushroom soup, the cook then will say she can't because there are no more mushrooms. After that you'll be able to gather mushrooms during the hunt stage.

When I got into the roadside ruin and click the "summon dremora lord" scroll given by Zoe, I found myself unable to select it, just the sentence "You can not eat quest item" appears on the left screen. And then however, I could actually cast the scroll -- while no effect is produced at all just I mean nothing happened, no dremora, no prompt, no scenes, no tips but the scroll item itself is consumed... So I wonder what actually is going wrong whether the problem is with the scroll or with the dremora, or with the quest or there's maybe conflicts between mods? To add up with, everything besides this scene works pretty well for me. I really have hoped I could fix and reactivate the scene myself. I tried the console command to summon the dremora lord of dogma.esp himself, but after killing him nothing happened; I copied the scroll, but no effect as well; I even tried to add his heart using additem but the task is still unaccomplished. I...I really hope you or anyone could give me some other advice. 🥹

Although I'm not sure if the Dogma scroll uses vanilla scripts.

One solution i found was to re-load before the gathering, click on her and loaded back to the save where she was stuck and it automatically fixed it. 1

I have completed through all of the main plot, but now whenever I load the game all of the credits come at once and blocks the entirety of the screen for a second. I can live with that, but there is also this accompanying music which plays continuously which is bugging me, which if I recall correctly was playing during the credits. Any fix for that? For instance, I fast traveled to Silentwood, so my Dragonwhore could make an honest living in the noise room. I arrived just before 7 A.M. Perfect timing, except it wasn't. She wouldn't begin work, even though the clock said it was 7:04 AM. Had her chill out on the stumps, waiting until afternoon was not an option. Only after I sent her to bed, and she awoke the next morning would she begin work. Is there a way to sink the time when you enter the town? Even a console command would help. You would think the mod would do that automatically.

You would think the mod would do that automatically. Because of the nature of tasks, Dogma made an specific day-cycle for Silentwood. Same from the Skunkway if you already played that part of the quest. I don't know if there is a way to sync it, but I believe this cycle should stop once you finish the Silentwood quest.

Hard to say. I'm still using .640 I think. Thief does use some SKSE functionality, but as far as I know does not include any functionality that would require a version-specific patch. It doesn't use Address Lib, and there are no DLLs or anything else being dynamically loaded which would require hooking engine functions or any kind of code offsets. So unless an engine update makes changes to the .esp format itself, the SE version of the mod should work so long as you have the proper version of SKSE for your Skyrim. 1
