I cannot for the life of me get the armor to show in game even after building them in Bodyslide.  I've tried conforming them to my body present in Outfit Studio and building them in BodySlide as I do with every other clothing mod but these always just turn the body invisible.  I'm banging my head against the wall here.  Is there by chance a beginner's guide on building the pieces that I could follow to get a refresher on how to build these?

All the armor you build shows in bodyslide and not ingame?  Thats strange.  you have all the prerequisites? and are you using a custom race?  Is it all armor sets that don't work or just some?

Thanks for the reply.  I suppose I should start with the basics.  The prerequisites are just CBBE and HDT correct? No custom race.  I've tried several armor sets from this thread including Dems Collection, Goma MiniBikini Set and Tifa outfit, all have the same problem.  The Tifa outfit is particularly frustrating because it is a Cre armor which I have gotten to work before with the separate Cre summer outfit.

Stupid question... you're seeing the body with the outfit in bodyslide, correct? Are you using other mods like CT77's remodeled armor? You're able to see your body naked?

Yep, the body and outfit shows up in the preview window of BodySlide just like every other outfit.  Nope, not using remodeled armor.

how to the armor addons themselves look when you pull them up in creationkit?

this appears to be the limit of my knowledge.  I know how to find the armor in creation kit and edit the properties but I do not know how to view them in creation kit.

I think Nind and I forgot to ask something. Go into Outfit Studio and check the partition of the body. It should be 32.

Thanks for the replies!  I checked the partition of the body in Outfit Studio and it was already set to 32.

I also checked out one piece of armor in Creation Kit (Tifa's gloves from Tifa FF7 CBBE HDT Bodyslide) and found it gives an error image: https://ibb.co/w7K7mzv

That means that at the time you opened the ESP, the nif at that location either didnt exist or is otherwise unuseable in some way.... is it there, and are you able to open it in nifskope?

Well I just realized where I went wrong.  I hadn't built the armor pieces correctly in Bodyslide Studio - I hadn't picked the right item from the outfit/body list.  I just figured that out now and it's fixed the problem.  The pieces are appearing in game and they show correctly in Creation Kit.  Mystery solved!
