I don't have any good recommendations on image hosting...

 

Thanks for the tips... I'll see what I can do....  thinking about just scrapping this package file and starting over with the conversion.

No worries. It was more directed to those that have been linking pictures.

 

Hope it helps. =) Most problems come down to the XML file. Once you fix all those problems you just right click the xml in s4pe and choose replace. Then you can switch out for the good XML without having to start over. But then again I've remade package files too. lol

I dunno how thick the yoga mat is. If you are not worried about a little clipping then i don't think it would matter if you used the mat to adjust your animation. Basically the props are just so you can keep frompoking through the object they are interacting with.

 

As for sounds, you can find the tutorial here. There are 6k+ sounds in a list on that page. The ones that start with VO and VOE are the actual voice sounds. There MAY be some voice sounds in the other sounds, but there are ALOT to test. I talked about it in my posts on this thread. Someone may have included a list of sounds that do in fact work.

No, leave this field empty! This field is for the object!

Also I think you deleted ENTIRELY some stuff that you should have left this way, for example:

This is a correct empty field.

You have to fill these fields. You can't leave them empty! Not these ones.

Receiving actor id, in case of a masturbation/self sex action, has to coincide with the id of the actor doing the action.

I will yeah.  I might go crack open the sounds tutorial and try to polish the animation first though.

Oh, and while I'm thinking of it....  is there a resource for object meshes to put in blender for those animations?  Couches, hot tubs, etc.?

 

I assume you have to get specific modded item meshes from the creators, such as Noir's dildos and what not...

Yes of course.

With sounds I can help a lot, I have a lot of knowledge. So if you need one, feel free to ask me.

Regarding objects, you simply have to create the .blend file via Sims4Studio and import it in Blender, it's extremely easy.

Awesome, alright.

 

First question: right away in the tutorial it mentions that sims 4 studio adds 2 events automatically, and they can be deleted.  One says something about the art lover trait and the other says censor; so, what are they, what do they do, why are they added by S4S, and does deleting them have any effect beyond cleaning up the events?

 

 

As for sounds, I'm looking for 2 things...  a subtle and quiet moan sort of sound and one of those moist or wet sounds suitable for blowjobbery I've heard in some animations...  any recommendations?

1) It is explained in a kinda crappy way honestly. Event censor: if it's there, it will prevent lips to move when a sound play (excluding the movements you created in Blender). This is very useful for blowjobs, cunnilingus, etc. animation (to give an example), but you can delete it for anything else (like a man doing grunt during missionary sex, and lips moving for doing grunts would be better).

The art lover trait thing is useless, so you can delete/substitue it.

 

2) For moan: vo_react_uncomfortable_stretchmoan

As for the blowjob, try baby_bottlefeed_succ_start. It's the best one, I think.

 

No, there is no way to pre-listen to sounds unfortunately :(

Alright cool...  adding sounds is refreshingly easy.  The sucking sound was good but vo_react_uncomfortable_stretchmoan isn't quite what I'm looking for; trying to find something more suitable for a full mouth.  I'll keep messing around with it and see what I can find.

 

Is it possible at this time to add other sounds to the game?

 

Do you know of any way to set up the game to boot really quickly for repeated testing, lowering settings or something?

To both things: no sadly.

You'll have to try. At this point I suggest you to either open other author's packages and check what they mostly implement, or test them by yourself :)

As for the mirroring, I think all you needed to do was:

  • select the keys you wanted to mirror
  • hold shift and hit d to copy them
  • drag them into position
  • mirror the selected frames

As for the locking hands... it's the same problem as locking the feet. What I've done in my efforts (someone suggested something similar for the feet) If you left click on the screen at a fixed point. (i.e. one of the hand bones) Use 1-2 extra 3d render screens in one direction each (i.e. Left, Front, etc) This will allow you to zoom in on that dot in a couple different directions. You then just line up the hand bone with the dot every few frames. It's annoying, but it works.

 

The thing to remember, is the dot will form on the surface of the skin. I have not found a way to make a dot at the level of the bone. So from one direction the dot will line up, the other direction it will touch the skin, but the dot will be even with it.

And a specific question about events....  if I add a sound to a timestamp PAST the end of the animation itself, will it play at that time if the animation is still looping?

I don't think it will play.

For the rotation issue, I wonder if you rotated a full 360, then continued to the destination would it make the model do that full rotation? There have been several times I went to adjust something and it spun way past. I never kept those rotations I just undid them and tried again so it didn't go wild.

Hmmm, twas just a thought.

 

By the way, Turbo explained a few things to me that help TONS.

When you have an object that attaches to another, like a bowl of fruit on a table, or the chairs around the table, they are all treated as the table for the purpose of WW animations. So, if your animation is tagged for tables, you can click on any object currently attached to that table to activate the animation. That also means that you would not be able to use the bowl of fruit as the focal point for the animation unless it were placed on the floor.

 

Also, my animation name not showing up in game WAS in fact an issue with the stbl file. I messed up in the stbl file which left the animation blank. Such a touchy little system this is lol

So animate the chair, and use it in the animation. Save it with it's own blender file. Then, if I understand correctly, it will be pulled into the animation and moved around wherever you need it.... I think... lol

I was wondering about that table thing... was thinking about some sort of under table/desk blowjob type situation, but I imagine it would be really difficult to get the chair lined up correctly.

 

And I agree, I like making the animations, but exporting them to a package is just a headache.

Hey! Hope all is going well, I've been catching up and you two are really coming along well, you're both clearly quick learners and understanding the program on a deep level,

It's quite interesting for me having no prior experience :lol:

 

For table animations,

You pretty much need to build the scene in blender,

 

Is not impossible as its exactly what I did for my "deskjob" animation :)

Thanks R-Lo. Now I just have to get a "roun-to'it" so I can finish my first proper animation lol. It's funny, I had more problems with my real animation than my test version. :lol:

 

Ya know.. I've always thought I should make and sell roun-to'its. I would make a fortune off all the procrastinators spouses. Their other halves would say, "honey, I'll do it when I get a roun-to'it." Thanks to me they could hand them a roun-to'it and say "well here ya go dear." The only problem is I never got a roun-to'it.....

 

(doesn't help that I can't start animating till 9pm... ugh lol)

Same here! As a single parent of a 6 year old it's hard to work on during the day as I also have a job, it's why I started my patreon, it wasn't my intention at first but I feel I have more to give than time currently permits!

 

It's not hard to make a pose when you know how and positioning a table and chairs is actually simpler than it sounds,

 

Just take a screenshot for reference and append the necessary items and move them to position,

 

Then place the actors and delete the objects like normal when saving,

No object animation is required for this as your actors will appear in the position that you set them,

 

My animation required me to append the desk, chair and computer to get it right,

 

I'd already considered some under table stuff too and happy to help if your stuck :)

Sounds about right.

 

When I said to animate the chair, I meant if you wanted to include it in the animation. You could do an elaborate scene where you first pull out the chair and sit down while she does her thing. Now bend her over the desk for a bit. Then maybe throw the computer on the floor and sit her on the desk to bang her for a bit.... That kind of thing would require animating the objects too.

So, if I wanted to have a computer playing porn, or a hot tub turned on for an animation, could I do that by setting events of some type? I assume I would have to have an animation specifically for the object in question to get that effect?

Sort of,

 

I'm thinking that it may need to be an override as there is already a couple camsex mods at sexysims that you may have seen, as the screen image is a mod itself, I'm unsure if it can work with WW,

 

I tried to add my animation to the existing mod but the actor would appear in the position that I'd set the root for in the same way WW does,

This is the animation I've made and it's free to download but I'd like to get the screen to work too,

I tried to model it on this, I tried to various things on the override list related to the socialize option but it didn't display correctly or constantly,

 

The actor would flicker between the centre of the desk in my animation and back to the seat in the default animation,

 

I tried to look for a tutorial but couldn't find anything related to animation override

The normal camsex without the custom animation replaced the option

Anyone know if they plan to set it up so you can select multiple sex partners? Like you can with travel? I've a big household and it would be kinda cool to activate a huge orgy at once instead of one sim at a time.

Speaking of that, I wonder if it's possible to for example if you're having sex with 3 or more partner's, cancel one of the sims without restarting the whole sex interaction? That would be really convenient. Especially the fast travel like Sierrebrarc mentioned as well.
