For Skyrim LE (oldrim) there are these 2 options: The Elin 2 race, if you want an anime-ish character. Install the main mod then the Adult size option to make them adults. Elin HDT Ears and Tails for vanilla races. They will work on custom races only if you add the custom race to the race formlist the ears/tails use AND replace the custom race's skeleton with the Elin skeleton that is included with the ears/tails. Let me know when you I still can test too for ya
PsychoMachina Posted February 16, 2019 Author Posted February 16, 2019 @angelwei I thought I should let you know, I'm about half done with the armor. I have been learning how to use Blender 2.79 with the latest NIF scripts so that's one of the reasons for the delay.

It's slowly coming together. I had quite a time fixing the main armor crashing when equipped but, that has been fixed. I need to redo the weighting and see what can be done about the normals. I can put off doing the normals last even after I upload the finished set.

PsychoMachina Posted March 9, 2019 Author Posted March 9, 2019 There was a delay in progress when the nearly complete outfit suddenly rendered oddly, to put it lightly, in my game. I had to start from scratch. I have the gloves and world models to do and maybe add it to the crafting menu. Also realized this is the Elin ninja outfit.

If I port them as-is then hand animations do not work correctly, if at all, and weapons float at the finger tips. If I position the gloves to where the weapon/magic nodes would place the weapon/magic spell within the palm of the hands (I'm guessing) then there would be a humongous gap between the arm and gloves. What I need to do is sculpt the gloves to about the size, shape, and position of the current Skyrim Elin hands then skinwrap them. I have an ideal to hide the wrist gap if it persists.
PsychoMachina Posted March 16, 2019 Author Posted March 16, 2019 I finally finished the gloves with correctly working animations and fixed the wrist gap. Decided to include the outfit with the original textures. Still need to fix some weight issues that is causing the stockings to clip in certain areas but, the outfit is playable. Now to create the world models and add to crafting. Adding to the level list will wait until I add some more outfits.
Derous6th Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 I really like the Ears and Tails but trying to convert it to SSE using NifOp will result in ctd. Really hope that you will convert it to SSE soon.

Really hope that you will convert it to SSE soon. The ears and tails are optimized (I have not experienced any issues) unless you are referring to the Skyrim LE HDT Elin ears and tails then, yes, NifOp will crash. I gave Gromilla permission to convert the HDT-PE ears and tails to SMP. When done, I'll add them to the SSE Elins.

After months of being away from gaming and modding in general I have recently started playing Skyrim again. However, I'm running different profiles for Elin 1 and 2 for Skyrim LE and SE. Playing, basically, the same game for 4 different profiles just so I can fix and update these 2 races. First round of updates will be for Skyrim LE and second round will be for Skyrim SE. Since any changes or fixes will be done on the SLE files in order to convert to SSE, it would make sense to release those updates in that order. how's the progress now? on those fixes and light head skin fix?

Early attempts yielded less than ideal results. What I'm probably going to do is create new head textures for some of the more popular skin textures instead of patching the old textures. Also I'll have a closer look at the head mesh, maybe redo the shading and/or emission values.

Icarus- Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Ok i found out why head texture is mismatching in npc, its because their bodies change when i use the cbbe replacer but for some reason it doesnt change the heads like it changes for me their heads stay stuck in the old texture hence why the mismatch only for npc replacers, without cbbe replacer they stay fine but i obviously want cbbe bodies for me so..theres that. I don't know how to fix it, it seems more like a problem that only you can fix due to what i seen in the files. my main guess is while the new npcs/enemies have generated bodies based on which one i have installed with the main mod, the faces are pregenerated into files right? so maybe you have to redo all faces for cbbe.

Oily skin textures is no different than the same as wet skin textures, the specular map gives the body that sheen. The one difference between the two is that the oil-look can also be achieved by increasing the specular emission of the body mesh. To achieve the oily body look, create or grab a 512x512, black texture file (some custom texture sets should have an option for 'dry skin'). Open that specular map in Gimp, Photoshop, or graphics editor you use and convert the black into various shades of gray. The lighter the gray, the higher the body sheen. Save, test, and redo until you get achieve what you want. 10 hours ago, Icarus- said: Ok i found out why head texture is mismatching in npc, its because their bodies change when i use the cbbe replacer but for some reason it doesnt change the heads like it changes for me their heads stay stuck in the old texture hence why the mismatch only for npc replacers, without cbbe replacer they stay fine but i obviously want cbbe bodies for me so..theres that. The NPCs should use all of the textures you installed for your PC. The mismatch could be caused by the facegen though, at the moment, this is a guess. Could be that an NPC with a body weight of less than 100% is using a body at max weight. Or it could be the textures.

Well about npcs i don't know what to do cause i can't go giving weight command to every npc i meet every time i reboot the game, so like..can't you check the files for a solution now?

PsychoMachina Posted April 15, 2019 Author Posted April 15, 2019 I had a look at the Elin head mesh when fitted on a UNP body. The first thing I noticed is the difference in shading between the head and body. Spoiler This is a possible reason for the Elins having 'darker' heads when you give them CBBE or UNP bodies. This could also be why I had no luck when trying to blend the old textures. Fixing this, if possible, will take some time.

Thank you, if possible can you also put some more new elin npcs in other towns aside whiterun once you done?
Icarus- Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 I also encountered the matter where for some reason naked body, arms and first person arms are using the files from the 2chelin BBP body fix folder to make up the body for whatever reason, for example i noticed my wrists were split and my naked body proportion was not matching the one from the armor until i copied the files from the character assets folder that BodySlider generates and replaced the ones in 2chelin folder. And this is like a problem because i want the normal womans who are using cbbe body too to not share proportions with elins but how i can do that when the elin body is shared with the ones from the character assets folder rathern than the 2chelin folder? it ends up with everyone in skyrim not having breasts and thick legs, of course i could change my proportions in game but it would be only for me and not the elin npcs so i would want the two races to not use the same cbbe files.
PsychoMachina Posted April 18, 2019 Author Posted April 18, 2019 Uninstall the Elin CBBE/UNP body mod. Leave the CBBE body for non-Elin races. Run your game and check that the non-Elin races are using the correct CBBE body and the Elins are using the default Elin body (non-CBBE/non-UNP). Create a new save (not overwrite an existing save) then exit. Install the Elin CBBE/UNP body mod. Make sure the associated plugin is activated and below any other Elin mods. When creating the CBBE Elin body with bodyslide, click and hold the CTRL key as you mouse-click on the bodyslide BUILD button. This will force bodyslide to save the new meshes in the bodyslide folder and not the game asset folder. Move the CBBE Elin body meshes to the 2chelin BBP Body Fix folder.
