ToJKa Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Might just be Stockholm Syndrome, but i grew to like this while failing horribly in Future Tense ?
ToJKa Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Something worthy of this thread in quite a while. Yes, i bought it. Hey, you can't spell "human" without "hypocrite" ?
FauxFurry Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 This track comes across as being almost too grand for a mobile title. Epic and travel-sized rarely go together quite so well:
landess Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 It took me quite a while to go through this post - and the feeling of Nostalgia is strong with this one. I thank all those whom referenced old PC games I played and almost forgot about. It goes to show the magic people can produce with only 12 half steps of frequency, similar to the magic others can make with a 1 and a 0. I include this offering from Titan Quest. One of the things I realized about this game was the journey took the PC through different lands, allowing the composers to have fun creating music influenced by many cultures.

The hands using the tools are definitely more important than the tools used themselves much of the time though having better tools allows more skilled hands to draw out even more potential.
jxm Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 Brand new track ... took me one listening to fall in love with. PErfect "escape the apocalypse and outrun the countdown-music". Cool mix of modern beats and strings etc...
sen4mi Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Let's see if I can figure out how to post one of these...
ToJKa Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 I like this one. Also, that's what she said ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mS6d89z7GMY

FauxFurry Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Nearly any track from Final Fight CD would qualify but none more so than Battle in Westside. Then again, Metro City Slums is nothing to be trifled with either. They all would qualify like I said before but I don't want to post the whole soundtrack here. Spoiler
ToJKa Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Actually, part of the Hall of the Behemoths music reminded me of FFXII soundtrack in few places, so i decided to replay that one. I had forgotten how awesome this was: Always OST selection, the reorchestrated is just... buthcered ?
Lexi SubZero Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 WELCOME TO THE STAGE OF HISTORY. ....and nostalgia
FauxFurry Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 Edge of Soul might just be the most epic of all tunes to be heard in Soul Edge, fitting as it is the very first things that players will hear besides the narrator's line, making for a strong first impression for the franchise.
ToJKa Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 I like dramatic climaxes. In music, you perverts!

I'll just go ahead and post two of my favorites: This last one was actually added past the game's deadline, because they "wanted to give people goosebumps and make them cry" with a proper song, and once it was done they also decided to tweak the dialogue and the mission flow so it would go in sync with the music for greater effect. Oooh boy, did they succeed.
ToJKa Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Indeed they did. Assault Horizon was a pretty crappy AC game, but they did nail the music, including the epic final one in that too:
ToJKa Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 You know a japanese is about to get serious when the singing is in latin ? Spoiler
ToJKa Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Don't care much about the game, i was always more into Wipeout, but the music kicked ass Don't know where this popped into my mind. Spoiler
ToJKa Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 EDIT: Well Square-Enix is going after FF7 soundtrack with a vengeance, so the musics linked were Fires of Resistance idle and battle, and the full Airbuster boss music. They really nailed the music in FF7 remake. This was the one that made the biggest impression. Might've been because of the setting, though. Spoiler Spoiler Also, couldn't someone just make an infinite loop of 5:03 - 5:50 part ? Spoiler
