Well the latest bug fixes need fixing or I'm updating the files in the wrong order.  Anyway, I'll go ahead and upload ECE/CME v9g later today.  I have been using this without problems .

 

I know I forgot to add this bit of info when posting ECE/CME v9h so here goes...If anyone is using this mod for the first time, you need SKSE.  Character Making Extender requires the latest SKSE for the new sliders to appear.  I'll add the link in the first page.

I had those error messages before.  Reinstalling ECE/CME would fix it.  Updating the files has to be exact in order for it to work.

hey well I blew out my mods and just had the ecm/cme and it sill gave me the error would you be willing to leave it out of girls of tera cuz I can not get it working if you would be so kind to do so I would be most greatful :) I really want to be able to use girls of tera :)

Well, nothing is working as it did yesterday.  I even used the backup DATA folder that contained my Breton (I posted her screenshot yesterday) and character creation is now buggy. 

 

I wonder if the Steam update has any connection to this.  This morning Steam updated and now ECE/CME is not cooperating. 

 

I'll leave up the links to the current files just in case.  If anyone has noticed the mod breaking after updating Steam, let me know.  It may be a coincidence then again, it may not.

 

 

UPDATE: Nvm, I got my Breton fixed.  Since I use Mod Organizer, I forgot to change profiles and was still using the profile used to test mods.

There is an alternative and that would be to use CME without ECE.  There will be some differences the main ones being it is so far more stable, but there are less morph options.  I haven't tested it with custom races, yet, so I can't say if it works or not with custom races.

 

I'll still try to stabilize ECE/CME, but if it looks futile then I'll upload only CME.

ok I thought it would be easye just to have girls of tera not require it I may be wrong but I just thought id ask that way I can use it not having to mess around with trying 2 get it to work :)

ok good news I got it working heres a pic of what it said in game

 

I don't think that when it says that that it means anything cuz all sliders work and no problems at all!!! ^_^

Another sign that it's not working is when you go to the main menu and see the dollar sign in front of each menu option.

It's strange, it worked before (the CBBE and UNP screenshots proved it), but if I start over with a fresh install, I get hit with problems.  I did something right the first time, I just need to remember what that is exactly.

this is what I did I installed this one file of the ecm/ece  but it did not comewith every thing then I installed  one that had all files and it worked  if you like I can upload them

The files that came with everything is the one with ygNord.  The first one you installed did not have ygNord.

 

I'll get this working properly.  The release date for Girls of Tera will be pushed back until I get ECE/CME stable.

This uses an earlier version.  The current version adds more options and improvements.  Also the CME game save is not needed so you can use the Character Creation features anytime.

UPDATE:  I did a quick test and it works.  No error messages and the sliders work.  I'm guessing the problems stem from the ygNord.  All this time I was only using the ygNord option.  Thanks a lot! 

 

Now that I know what to do, I can proceed with Girls of Tera.

 

EDIT:  Things appear to be looking up.  I found the original UNP Tight Body Jiitek made before he released CotS.  Now I need to modify the Elin skeleton or the x106 and we can have a new Elin.

I love it way more advanced features a lot more to chose from makes making a char waaaay better :)

also how can you add the sliders to a custom race if u know how

Now the question is to add the SkyUI interface before initial release or later.  So many people really like the RaceMenu UI so adding it to ECE/CME would be a big plus.

EDIT:  Regarding adding custom races,  you need to add an entry in this file:

 

MESHES > CHARACTERMAKINGEXTENDER

 

and open "CME_VanillaRaces.ini" with Notepad.

 

Look towards the bottom and you will see a listing of the vanilla races,

Example:

[Race]
Name = Breton, ブレトン
SliderIni = commonTriRaces\HumanRaces_Slider.ini
Preset = BretonPreset1.slot

 

If you want to add a custom race, just add another entry like the example, but change the name to that of the custom race and choose whether to use the HumanRaces_Slider.ini or the ElfRaces_Slider.ini (if the custom race are elves).  Then for "Preset" create <CustomRace>Preset1.slot (these will be the facegen saves).

 

Now, if the custom race uses the same assets as the vanilla races, the slider should work.  If the custom race has their own and they are standalone, you will need to edit ECE and maybe (unconfirmed) CME in CK to include the new race.

 

Then it's a matter of trial and error especially since the head morphs were meant to be used with the vanilla head mesh.

Soooo What doss this have to do with Elin's? Look's like it's for "New Castanic Race Beta 3"

 

 

Just demonstrating what ECE/CME adds to Character Creation.  Of course much has been changed and improved since when I released the New Castanics.  After I'm done with Girls of Tera, I'll be redoing the Castanic Race and include the latest ECE/CME.  By then, hopefully the male morph sliders will be vastly improved.

Ehh the extender I was using before started causing crashes and stuff so now I am getting all the stuff needed for this race and maybe try mixing it w children sky. Like others said since they both seem to work.

 

Ton of stuff.

 

Ehh I undid it all cause I was coming about problems and such. So many mods I have now.

 

But now I can't get my char right. I did something and now I don't have as many colors for hair as before.

 

Here is what my character was like before. Anyone know what I can do to somewhat get that way again?Pic1_zpsc20e4bb6.png

 

Edit: OMG I fixed it! I had to install the OPTION - Prepatched Slider Colours Version for Children Sky. I still can't install this race as well though oh well.

Well, I'm in the middle of trying to make a Girls of Tera body that is compatible with CotS, but that x117 skeleton just will not work.  I was able to make a facsimile with the x106 skeleton.

Since CotS is very popular, I can't ignore the compatibility issue.  x117, why won't you cooperate with me. :@

well I know that with me and the elin race and cots  the reson i can run them both at the same time is cuzI used custom body meshes and textures for the cots and the xvis thingy that changes the kids in skyrim at least I think that's y

Does the custom body work with the loli armors?  I'll need to test the loli armors with the x106, Elin skeletons, and a heavily modified UNP skeleton.  If any of them will work then I'll use that as an x117 replacer.  Oh, but then CotS will probably be its naughty self again and try to replace the body.

heres what I did the cots and xvisionchildren both of them have the same replaced meshes and textures also cots has been updated and theres a test fix for the wired error that replaces the body's and textures that it did befor check cots page and as far as the loli armors I will test that out If I remember right I think they do even with my custom body replacer ill try just 2 be sure
