Is this for SE only or can we use it for oldrim?

I'm always updating all three mod pages. Go to the respecting mod page.

here, response to McBabe but also some tips for people just getting into this and have no idea how it works. your problem could be any of the following or none of the following, i'll just list mistakes it's possible to make when you've just installed bodyslide. when you build your nude body in bodyslide, make sure you have selected in the first input (top left, Body/Outfit) one of the bodies with physics. i.e. for UUNP it'll say HDT or Special. then apply your preset to it. then load up all your armor replacers, and batch build all of them with your presets. depending on what replacers you have it may ask you what to do about overwrites. i.e. some may have an HDT version and non-HDT version. if you want everything to have physics then pick the HDT option for all of them. some replacers come out of the box with two outfit versions so you can customize the heavy metal plate-type armors to not bounce. that's basically it, outfits without physics will not have physics. and bodies without physics will not have physics. just gotta make sure you're building from the right bodies. for example if you try to build UNPB HDT and then try to build regular UUNP, you won't have physics in game because you overwrote your character mesh with the non-HDT body. all the bodies are writing to the same destinations so you're only supposed to build one of them.

Is there a way to change the partition on multiple parts of a item at one time? EXP: A gauntlet with 12 pieces that I want to change all the pieces from 33 hand to 34 forearms.  Right now I have to change and save each piece individually. I'd like to be able to change and save all at one time. Doable?

That's impossible to code, as every piece can have any number or combination of partitions (or not).

I was hoping there was LOL. Thanks for the reply.

Another question. Is there a way to delete a project from the OSP other than with note pad?

The latest version added one (see change log), yes. Keep in mind that this doesn't delete the matching .osd or .nif from ShapeData.

Great! Thanks for all you help and OS/BS. I have converted over 250 outfits that I couldn't have done otherwise.

I need help with this one. I converted it to an obj files and OS CDT when I try to load it.  I have this happen sometimes and I'd like to know what to do to fix it. It is from an Oblivion outfit I am trying to convert.  Nifskope will export  obj files like this that won't load in OS or the obj file is empty. The rest of the pieces have converted with no problems.

Anyone know how to fix the missing forearm? I've got the Armor Addon as slot 34 - Forearms and the nif is also slot 34.

How do I add the body forearms to the armor?

I upgraded to 4.4 and now all my bodies are have small breasts but the outfits are sized right. The body is not responding to any sliders but the outfits are. What did I do wrong?

Thanks for the responces, I have it set to build the cbbe physics body with my only custom sliders based on the fetish build and build that body preset. I have a grouping with all the outfits i use and batch build to that, it could be that I am just not noticing them. But I don't think that's it... I've seen a few mod videos for SE and they have WAAAY more bounce than I'm seeing in my game. I always install X's skell last and have the cbp one selected in the installer. lol kinda wish there was a video for how to install and get the cbp working ingame. Oh well I'll just wait.
Also on a side note there's a new mod with the cbbe conversion for the Immersive Armors mod over on the Nexus!

yeah CBP bounce is a little weak for some reason. the videos you're seeing are most likely using the dragonfly animations. i use 360 run/walk animations and tick the CBP box in fomod, and that is pretty reasonable with default CBP settings. but i still went into the CBP config and increased the butt bounce a lot lol. it seems to not make a huge difference actually, but maybe i've been configuring it wrong. anyway, it's possible your conversions were just weighted poorly. you can check them in outfit studio, and if the weights on your bouncy parts look weak it's pretty easy to manually adjust them. or if you made any of these conversions yourself, make sure to load your body as a reference and copy bone weights down

MO2 bugs or something with folders.

Hello, Ous. Thank you for your great work, bacano. I just updated to V4.4 and I noticed that you have a new conversion slider -> SK CBBE to CBBE SE Uniboob. By playing with it, I figured all it does is actually fill the space between the breasts so "boob armors" would be a thing of the past. I like that.

My question is: Is there a way to make it a slider for the already converted armors? I have quite a few armors done, honestly, that would benefit from this bit, without going through outfit studio all over again.

Thanks!

I'm having some trouble with a couple conversions, I'm still working on the armored bikini conversions with MR and I've run into a issue with the strings of bikinis particularly between the breasts. It's tough to explain so I've posted some examples here, basically the middle string gets swallowed by the breasts and it didn't do that in oldrim. If there is no way around it, fair enough, I've noticed other mods with almost the exact same issue, but if there is something I might be doing wrong I am more than willing to give more detail if that's needed. Thanks in advance for taking a look!

Ok I have just been tackling this issue for the Book of UUNP - CBBE conversion I am doing. So will explain how I did it, warning however this is time consuming to a huge degree.

1. First thing to do is turn on vertice view so you get all the pretty dots. Using the masking tool.. (make it very small) mask just the middle vertices.

2. Invert the mask so you are just effecting those vertices.

3. Use the Move tool to align those vertices to exactly where you want, the straighter this is the better.

4. Clear your mask.

5. Now, go into edit mode for each slider affecting the breasts (pay special attention to gravity and all the whole body sliders). Repeat the above steps.

6. Enjoy the perfectly positioned strings across all slider settings and then cry because you lost 5 hours of your life doing it.

Anyway, HTH!

Remove the forearm slot. It should only be given to outfits with the reference body still attached.

Change both the nif and the AA slot to somethijg either than the forearm.

Won't that simply allow me to only affect the sliders on the zeroed preset? I'm a little out of it right now but if I'm reading this correctly I'm not entirely sure how it tells BodySlide to ignore morphing on those particular sliders. Do I mask the string and make sure breast sliders are inactive on that piece specifically? Also, if they've already been conformed to thr sliders, how would I unconform them? Sorry, still new at this but it's maddeningly interesting.

It doesn't ignore morphing for the sliders.. what that process does is specify how the mesh should look at slider value 100.. then it interpolates the mesh before 0-100. Just follow the steps for each slider in edit mode, thats it.. you don't need to unconform.

Ok I think I understand now, thank you! I was brain fried from running a game of d&d with some friends last night and wasn't processing what you were saying. I'll look into it, thanks for the help!

Just as an example I did the process on the Wolf Bikini D CBBE from the Legendary Armor - Bikini CBBE HDT. Took about 3 hours to do every slider. The end result is vastly improved.. I also had to transform lots of vertices on the neck string down to the bra.. I reshaped the bra itself to better fit and of course adjusted the string between.

Screenshots show before and after.

Also I attached the bodyslide files for it, feel free to use them if you like.. otherwise they might serve as an example.

It is very time consuming, but the final product is really nice to look at! As luck would have it I did the Wolf String Bikini myself in about the same time. I then tried with the Dragonbone Sling Bikini to see what that would be like and let's just say that the stomach sliders and groin sliders also contributing to warping did not make the project easier. I've been on the sling for about 2.5 hours yet and still have a ways to go before it's ready. You've been a great help nonetheless and I appreciate you taking the time to give an example like that!

Yes it eats time.. I have found with the Book of UUNP - CBBE conversion that many outfits individually require 3-6 hours to do a decent conversion. The difference this all makes though is huge so it's worth the time investment.

Anyway, glad it has helped!
