I don't know about how additem works, but the armors in Parasites are custom Devious Devices. 

Devious Devices comes with 3 armors objects for each armor piece: one for the inventory, one for the equipped object and one for the scripts.

Never add or remove Devious Devices manually, through the console or a mod like that, or it is a sure way to end up with a broken equipped device.

My bodyslide doesn’t work on this mod. Can anyone help me with this? I’m playing on LE. Also I checked my bodyslide and outfit studio and can’t find the outfit for this mod to batch with my bodyslide. To put it simply my bodyshape change to standard cbbe when I got infected.

Update note 1: I used smolekyneblessingcbbe for bodyslide and it works for most of armors but not all of them.

I don't know if im missing something, but after my PC "gives birth" to eggs or the chaurus worms, she gets stuck lying on the ground

funny thing is thats the only way im not broken from the spriggan infection. how additem works is it brings up a list of items as if its a storage container. you can search for items specificly such as "spriggan" and if there is a mod with that name it can search for items from just that mod. now...as for other things du to how that falmer and chaurus are connected so tightly ive kept a tight lip but honestly i prefer the way that you were friendly with the falmer. by how some of the books are written for the mod itself it describes the falmer being neutral at most to the infected. a key example is the journal of alacia (i know i prob didnt spell her name right) that you find on the bones at the portal to the queen. manually equipting it gave me the infection of spriggan without issues while trying to get the infection how i should caused me crashing. thats all i can say. ok rant over. but i am glad with what you have done with the mod regardless

that happens sometimes, hold n to masturbate and it will break you free of the frozen animation. had that issue with birthing parasitic chaurus eggs from the estrus mod

Can you remind me where you found that text?

 

 

It's on the title page of the book "Annotated Spriggan Guide".  I found it in the temple of Kynareth after an encounter with a spriggan left my toon with a "root" problem.

I guess I have to ask, I got to where it says "you now know the potion for removing parasites" or something, except no I don't. Without already having all the ingredients, there is no way to look up what ingredients a potion requires. Would anyone like to just tell me the ingredients. Thanks.

Like the Pheromones, the potion is found in Cooking stations, not Alchemy.

Sorry if this question has already been resolved, but I've done some searches and couldnt find an answer.

 

I'm doing the broodmother questline, and found the studs north of where Lastelle is. The thing is, I cant use the pheromones becacuse they only affect targets under level 10, and I get the message "Chaurus Stud is too strong". I tried using the calm spell as an alternative, but that only works on 9 or lower, so I have the same problem.

 

I also thought about merely luring them in towards Lastelle without calming them, but they can cross even the slightest bit of water, and they just stand on the other shore spitting at me.

 

Any ideas on how to solve this?

That is still an unresolved issue.

 

You can bypass that stage altogether by giving Lastelle a Chaurus pheromone potion instead.

I seem to have accidentally sequence broken the Brood Maiden quest line by clearing Harmugstahl and collecting the journals (not knowing what they were connected to) while randomly exploring. Picking up these journals, I received a quest for returning to Lastelle (whom I had not even met at that point) and she gave me the quest that sends you to Blackreach. I did that and I am now tasked to return to Lastelle, but she isn't there. So, I looked up details for the quest chain and found out she is supposed to be in a cave below the mound, but said cave is only opened after completing a previous quest. Since Lastelle has already moved to the cave, there is no way for me to get the quest to unlock the cave (having, as mentioned before, accidentally skipped past all previous steps). It simply isn't there at all. Any way I can fix that?

Anyway, noted the following.

 

If there is anything that the chaurus are hostile too in the area, the potion will cause them to go hostile on you.  So if they are after a rabbit, a fox, a bandit, etc. this will cause the potion to glitch.

 

The potion's calm effect has a max level or 10 but the chaurus studs are level 12, so that could be another reason its not working (I had it work on my main character but that character has perks from ordinator that boost the level cap, when i tried it on a new starting character with alternate start if failed to work).

 

If you start as a brood maiden via alt start, you can walk right up to the chaurus, and if there are no hostiles or prey creatures nearby you can hit them with the potions and they won't go hostile... but it fails to work (probably because of the level cap).  IF anything nearby is hostile or potentially hostile or prey to the chaurus, they'll go hostile on you when you use the potion.  Once they go hostile, even after escaping combat and letting them calm down, you can never approach them again without them becoming hostile.

 

Hopefully that helps.  I have some further notes but I'm still organizing them into something readable.

 

Meanwhile, if you or anyone else wants to use it, I gave Lastelle a bit of a makeover.

Thanks for the report.. I need to check the quest stages you would have to use manually to move forward (and plug that hole for future players).

That won't give you access to the steps with Lastelle but it should unlock the next stages with Danica and put you right back on track.

Heh... wasn't even going for that, was just trying to make her cute and kind of "unkempt" looking.  Long as you like her.

 

Oh and even with the magnitude on the potion set to 20, as a brood maiden alt start its still not working, but it does seem to work otherwise as long as the combat thing is avoided.

 

Not using MBC (which places a small bandit camp nearby that interferes a lot) helps.  Or people could use this modified version which removes Camp Marshside (and the flippin eight exterior cells it edited even though it only actually used part of one cell).

I got the kyne's blessing quest after getting infected, but Danica Pure-Spring only has stock dialog options... Are there any other special requirements to be able to talk to her or is my install just fucked? Everything else in this mod seems to work just fine.

What did you get infected with?

 

I probably missed some dialogue condition.
