@DeepBlueFrog Can you clarify in dealing with the living armor and tentacle monster ... Danica says I need to learn to control it before she'll tell me how to remove it. I have no idea whatsoever how to control it... it seems like the tentacle monster controls me more than anything. I've had it for many many in-game days and I haven't learned anything about controlling it. It sends me messages by sticking tentacles in my ears, I guess ... but they often disappear quickly, and the ones I've seen are generally just to go have sex, which I have done. Although it is hard finding a partner when I'm wearing this thing. How do I get a better understanding of this thing to trigger Danica telling me how to remove it? Please!

Yes, the transformation spell does nothing if you have God Mod on

Yeah tentacle monster is considered a plug so it limits you to like blow jobs, anal sex, maybe lesbo animations too.  Believe if you talk to Danica about living armor she speaks of a repellant you cook up at a cooking station.  The tentacle monster, needles in the brain thing is trying to talking the pc into starting some sex with another npc, to get the tentacle monster to jump to them...but in mcm have to have the 'sex can infect NPCs' turned on:  mcm>sexlab parasite>triggers>sex can infect NPCs

I made myself some BHUNP modification: change meshes, textures a bit, but run into trouble with normals.

Can someone explain to me how create a normal map in blender ( image editor like PH wont work for this)?

I seem to recall the old SD+ Sacrificial Spriggan curse included feet/high heels, but it seems SL Parasites only has arms/body/face. Any chance we could get the feet to go with the rest of the spriggan infection?

Well I've talked to Danica - I've tried many times now. I've been infected for probably two weeks in game days, and talked to her a dozen times. She always just tells me "it is a beautiful specimen and I need to learn to control it before she can help me" ... so she never gives me the recipe for the repellent.

I've got the Sex with NPCs can infect them option turned on... so in theory I should infect someone at some point. But I've had numerous encounters with both my followers and a few regular NPCs, both men and women... and it has not jumped onto any of them yet. I'm not sure what the chance of infecting them is...

You have a chance of infection when fighting Spriggans. 

You can also manually trigger that effect in the menu if it doesn't happen quickly enough around Spriggans.

Look at the optional downloads from the mod page. There is an alternate model pack with variations to choose from.

I wish I had time to learn how to make an omod file to make installation easier but that won't happen anytime soon or unless someone feels like making one.

 

For the wings, you will need to install a separate mod to provide them. Check out this note on the download page:

 

The Flying option of the Queen of Chaurus armor relies on one of these three mods:

• Animated Wings Ultimate (prefered option)
• Real Flying
• Animated Dragon Wings

One question, I've encountered error just like others in the previous pages. It seems that my chara can't get infected by the chaurus queen infection. It doesn't trigger anything when I ticked the option.

 

 

I've tried force adding the Chaurus Queen Body spell through player.addspell. & when I activate the skill. The debug showed an error getDeviousKeywordByString: Unknown generic keyword

 

Previous pages mentioned that the error had some connection with DD (I'm using DD 5.1.7 btw), but no solution so far.

 

Any thoughts on how should I solved this issue. Thankss!

They are telling me Parasites failed to properly initialize and that the custom devious devices (the parasites) will not equip properly.

 

If you are using a mod organizer, make sure you are using only one version of Parasites and the right version for SE or LE.

 

if you are not using a mod organizer, make sure you reinstall the mod and that you are not using patches from other mods (which have a tendency to ignore recent changes in the target mod).

Thanks for the suggestions, but no luck so far.

 

I've tried reinstalled all the files using MO, however the issue persists. (I'm using Ver. 2022-01-31 btw along with the CBBE SE & 3BBB Bodyslide V8)

 

Any other suggestions maybe? Could it be a problem with the DD?

That's why I am thinking of an issue with a patch from someone else or an old version.

 

The current version of the script does contain the property reported missing in that error message:

 

Line 111 in SLP_fcts_parasites:

 

Keyword Property _SLP_ParasiteChaurusQueenBody Auto  

 

That error usually comes from the author of the script removing an old property still assigned in your saved game.

 

In this case, the property SHOULD be there.

Could you just remove some of the spriggan shit? I got infected with the spriggan root thing, and now the buzzing sound will seemingly never stop. It's always there, and incredibly annoying. Even after i cure it in the debug menu, that sound is still there. I've waited several in-game days.

So, maybe remove whatever makes the sound continue to play? The only fix is to restart the game, and that's only temporary.

That is not something fixable through TESEdit.

 

Somehow, the scripts the game find on your system do not match how they are defined in the .esp file.

 

That means you are either trying to use multiple versions of the mod by accident (that can happen with mod organizers) or you have scripts in your Skyrim/Data/scripts folder that are older than the scripts contained in the .bsa file.

 

You can look into your Skyrim/Data/scripts folder and delete all scripts starting with SLP_ if you find any - that will force your game to only use the scripts in your .bsa file.

Dear Mod Author,

I came across this mod today via a picture posted in the Skyrim thread area...

..who also has a living parasite as armor for the idea.

The armor itself with various "intermediate levels" is already finished as an armor model and can be downloaded

I don't know if they intend to further develop their parasite mod and maybe include something like that in the equipment mechanics alongside things like "living armor".

I'm currently on the most recent form of AE and thus the 2022 se build of the mod and I am having an issue of lami not appearing in her shop as well the quest markers not appearing on the map, compass, etc. Has anyone had this issue before/know what causes it?

That is a bug I am still investigating. 

 

I wanted to give a chance for the parasite to leave on its own but I didn't plan for immediate rejection.

I don't believe so, no. It might have been related to Flare Delay, in the mcm. Setting that to a larger number might fix the issue.
